Work Text:

His hands had covered their ground. Every inch in fact. Their skin had collided gently at every possible interval. The cold of the world was far away; their bodies being the warmth they needed. She had felt him all the right ways; she made him feel like a shameful man in bliss. She has done him well and he was beyond the words ready to return the favor.

Five adjusted himself on the bed. He cursed the Commission board for making the beds so damn uncomfortable. But no matter how unbearable the mattress underneath him was, nothing would break the feeling of euphoria that had filled him. Your face was still hidden from him and his eyes still felt the effects of (good) dizziness. He felt you lift yourself away from him and adjust.

Five would never admit it but he was anxious. What you had just given him, nothing he could give you would compare. He didn’t want to disappoint you or your god given gift that you had graced him with. He didn’t even notice the distance between you two had grown as his nerves distracted him. He stared at the celling; waiting, wanting, praying he could give you what you deserved. His paranoia would have continued to grow until a coldness hit him.

He turned to see something that was sure to make him stumble if he was standing.

You had moved from beneath the bed sheets and now stood just outside the bed. You faced away from him. The window nearby was slightly ajar, creating a breeze that took hold of your hair, allowing the skin of your face to be available to his sight for a moment. The moon let in a shine; it made your body glisten beautifully. The lack of clothes allowed him to be beholden to your figure. Your curves and divots, you were so human that it was intoxicating. He wanted to stare and let his eyes dry from your beauty but reality hit him harshly when you began to walk to the door.

His brows furrowed as you picked up your clothing that had been tossed aside not too long ago. You flimsily wrapped yourself in the garments and reached for the door. “Hey” Five said with slight irritation but mostly confusion, his eyebrows still wrinkled.

You turned to face him as he lay where he was; held up against some pillows, sweat his evident from the blessing your mouth had given him. “What?” You spoke, reflecting his uncertainty but not his annoyance. “Where are you going?” He uttered out, sounding just as bewildered as before but just less upset. Your face crinkled and your lips frowned; your eyes looking back and forth whist your head mirrored the motion. You laughed slightly but it sounded more like a scoff, “what do you mean? I’m leaving.” Five gazed at you for a moment; did you not want him? Had he said something wrong? Or maybe it was the way he had done it. Maybe you could sense he would do it poorly to you.

“I’ve done what you’ve wanted, right? Did you want me to do some more? You seemed pretty spent.” You said, not with judgment, not with wit, with a simple matter-of-fact tone. You were plainly stating what you thought you were here to do.

Five’s whole face relaxed and turned soft. It was uncomfortable to see him so sympathetic. He made a connection you hadn’t and it caused your scowl to deepen. He threw the bed sheets that covered him away from him as he stood, silently and naked.

He just looked at you for a moment with that look. You hated it, the look of condolence from someone like Five made you feel warm and weirdly safe. That was not the feeling Five gave off. He was cold, cruel, inmoral. He had killed hundreds by your side and his evil grin was the most emotional he had ever shown.

He took too many steps towards you and before you could speak or run out the door in barely enough clothes, he was right in front of you. He wasn’t much taller than you, your nose slightly lower than his, never the less, they were inches apart.

“Why did you come here tonight?” He asked quietly, looking down at your eyes, a glare you couldn’t escape. You breathed into the night and replied. “You asked me to be here, you said you wanted to have a good time. I have given you your good time now I was going to leave.” Five glare softened as you spoke. You felt something snap inside you; you didn’t like being looked down upon like that, especially by someone so cold and threatening, someone just like yourself who had never shown you any pity. The snapping sensation inside of you spilled out into angry words.

“Don’t look at me like that! I hate it, so speak to me, Hargreeves! I gave you want! Isn’t that what you want?! I did what you wanted!-“ He cut off your abhorrent words by smashing his lips into your. It wasn’t gentle, it was rough as he bit your lip. It was the way you liked it, harsh. It was long and intense as his hands wrapped around your waist and pushed up elbows rested your hands on his face.

He pulled his face away as you both breathed heavily with closed eyes, his hands drifted to your face, keeping you from backing away as he spoke through his jagged exhales. “This, me and you, it isn’t just about me and I don’t know who put that idea in your head but this is not just about how I feel, it’s about you too, do you understand?” He rasped out with a breathy tone. You nodded over and over as your lungs begged for more air. His eyes fluttered  open and his hands tightened as his breath caught up to him a bit.

“Look at me,” he croaked out. His voice was coarse, it sounded as if metal had forced its way down his throat, scratching at his vocal cords while doing so. You opened your eyes to see his green eyes staring you down, like a predator about to annihilate its prey. his grip on your face kept you still as he spoke again. “Listen to me, okay? I want to make you feel amazing and I don’t care who or what you have experienced but me, I want you. You hear me,” he removed his eyes from and lowered to your ear, whispering, “I want you.”

His voice made your knees feel unsteady as he straightened up to lock eyes with you again. Your eyes became hazy and lust-filled, god you wanted him everywhere now.

“Where do you want me?” He asked while looking back and forth at both eyes, trying to read your hazy mind. You opened your mouth to speak but he had taken that too; you began to stutter under his intense gaze. He was doing this to you and all it took was some genuine appreciation, who knew.

Your jaw was loose and Five smiled at your bimbo behavior and chuckled slightly. He took one hand and placed it beneath your chin, pushing your jaw closed. “You’re cute when you’re like this but that doesn’t answer my question.”

You knew that if you spoke it wouldn’t be for long so your words needed to be precise and informative. Tell him where he needed to be. Then the word came to you and a whisper was all you could handle.

Everywhere.”

Five’s smile darkened, like you were another victim he needed to handle, as he took hold of your waist, lifting you and throwing you back on the creaking bed. You laid on your back in surprise as he stepped on top of you placing both hands on your wrists, pulling them above your head. He locked eyes with you again and spoke for what would be the last time for quite some time.

“Everywhere I shall be then.”

Five adjusted himself on the bed. He cursed the Commission board for making the beds so damn uncomfortable. But unlike earlier in the night, you lay next to him, curled slightly into a ball. He turned to where earlier you had stood, sparkling in the moonlight, and then then turned back to where you lay now. He wrapped his arms around your hips and snuck his legs in between yours. “You are more to me than just a sex toy, you hear me?” You nodded against him. A brief silence occurred making the air thick until Five spoke the holy trinity of words to hopefully clear his conscious

“I love you.”

You didn’t say a word for a passing second; Five’s body tensed. You knew Five; you don’t say something and he would get out of the bed and run. Run far and wide because that’s all Five knew how to do. Run. So to clear his mind for time being, you expressed the words you’ve been longing to say.

“I love you too, Hargreeves. So goddamn much.”

You felt Five’s smile against your hair, you felt him relax a bit too. He was so much to you and felt good to know you were so much more to him as well.
