Summary:

Mnet, a popular TV broadcast channel, has launched yet another survival show to create the next generation of K-Pop idols. This program, called STAR PLANET 999, on which female and (in the case of y/n is read female) male contestants who share the common dream of making their debut as K-Pop stars. Although y/n initially feels a bit isolated, they quickly meet other trainees who are also pursuing their dreams, including Sung Hanbin, who appears to be the standout star of the season. While Hanbin appears to be the perfect guy, y/n is determined to focus solely on their goals. However, Hanbin seems to take an interest in getting to know them right from the start. Will he be the only one?

Hi, this is basically my first ff on ao3 so if anyone has some constructive criticism it's very welcome to be told.
This is a reader x Sung Hanbin fic in which I try to state y/n as gender neutral because I want it be to either a f/m or a m/m story so the reader is comfortable.
It will be around 10 chapters, but maybe even more, I don't know how motivated I am at the moment hihi.

PROLOGUE

The light of the projector hit y/n face as they walk upon the stage. Energetic screams from fans filled the room and momentarily stunned the contestants. However, the energy also invigorated the stage, and y/n felt ready to perform. They took one last glance at what they found here. One last look at what they never thought they’d find. The One.

As their eyes met, y/n stood still yet their tension dissipated when his face broke into a slight grin. Y/n’s breathing gradually slowed down and the group was ready to perform.
