Work Text:
Currently, Tsubaki was on her way home from college. She only had one class today and happened to be able to leave early. RONDO also didn't have a practice today, so Tsubaki had more or less free time.
Her phone suddenly rang and Rinku's name appeared on the screen. Thinking that it was unusual for her to call, she quickly picked it up, in case it was something important.
"Aimoto-san? What's wrong?"
The call was suddenly cut off, making her panic even more. She assumed Rinku was in trouble. However, she quickly dismissed that negative thought. She tried to call Rinku back, but this time her cell phone wouldn't connect.
She then called Rei, hoping that nothing had happened to her.
"Hello Tsubaki-san, the-,"
"Is Aimoto-san okay?"
Not letting Rei finish her sentence, Tsubaki immediately asked how Rinku was doing. A worried tone was clearly heard from her mouth.
"Rinku-san? She looked unusual this morning, but we're currently helping her and she's in another room,"
"Did something happen to her?"
"You don't need to worry Tsubaki-san, she doesn't look sick or injured,"
Hearing that made Tsubaki become confused. So what did Rinku mean by calling her just now?
"What is the unusual you mentioned earlier?"
"She seems to be daydreaming a lot lately, then when we asked her she said that she started to feel unusual since you helped her during D4Fes,"
Hearing that shocked Tsubaki. Was she the cause of Rinku's condition? Had she subconsciously placed some sort of curse on her? Was it possible that she was a witch without realizing it? Is it possible that-?
"Tsubaki-san? Hello, Tsubaki-san?"
Coming out of her reverie, she immediately responded to Rei, "Ahh Rei thank you for the explanation. I have to go first, see you later,"
She hung up the phone and quickly searched for another contact on her phone.
"Hello, Tsubaki-chan,"
"Are you free right now?"
"Well, I'm currently resting, what's up?"
"I'd like to pay a visit to your house. Is that okay?"
"It's fine. But, seriously, what's going on?"
"I'll explain later. That's it."
She hung up the phone and hurried to "her" house.
At the same place, a couple was seen walking in the opposite direction of Tsubaki.
"Tsubaki-san? What's she in such a hurry for," said the red-haired girl. She was about to greet Tsubaki but since she seemed to be in a hurry, she decided against it.
The silver-haired girl next to her looked unhappy, as she made a pouting face. She then grabbed the red-haired girl's head and forced her to look in her direction.
"Sweetheart, how dare you look at another girl while you're on a date with me?"
"Oh come on, don't call me that in public,"
"Don't change the subject, honey,"
The red-haired girl detached herself from the girl in front of her. "Besides, what's wrong with greeting an acquaintance, darling?"
The silver-haired girl's face suddenly turned red, embarrassed by the sudden attack from the person who had previously said not to use pet names in public.
"Akhem, good job, I forgive you this time,"
"Although you like to tease others, it turns out you can't stand being teased," said the red girl with a smug face.
"Sh-shut up,"
They walked hand in hand.
