“Christopher, you said you will be here on time! It's cold!” Felix whined to his phone teeth trembling with a bigger and smaller suitcase by his side. He was standing in front of an airport gate waiting for his friend. He knew it was cold in Korea now, not like in Australia where the sun was melting him everytime he went out but still, the two layers of warm clothing were not enough.
“I am on my way Felix! You told me the wrong gate number so you will have to wait!” The older one just laughed to his phone but he already saw Felix trembling on the sidewalk. As he parked nearby he let the car run so it would still be warm and got off waving at Felix.
Freckled blond boy looked at him and almost ran after him, “thank god finally, I was about to freeze to death!”
“Nice to see you again Lixie,” Bangchan laughed looking at him, he was all cuddled up in a sweater, hoodie and thick jacket.
“Okay, okay hurry up, which car, “ he started walking with one of the suitcases.
“The only silver one which is standing there,” Bangchan laughed as he noticed that they were alone. After that he opened the trunk remotely and they put both of the suitcase and Felix's backpack inside.
“Go sit, I will take care of it,” Bangchan smiled at him. Felix just nodded quickly hopping into the car. Chan could hear the relieved sigh as he sat down to warmth. Then he just closed it and sat down on the driver seat, “welcome to Seoul, almost.”
Felix just smiled like sunshine, opening his chest and hugging him, “I missed you hyung!”
Bangchan just laughed lovingly hugging him back, “me too, Lix me too!”
After some seconds of already awkward silence they pulled out. Bangchan took off his jacket and handed it to Felix, “take of yours and put this one, it is warmer.“
He didn't even finish the sentence and Felix was already doing it. “Oh shit it is warm,” he smiled and snuggled into the jacket as it was a little bit bigger.
Bangchan just smiled, “you can rest now it's going to be a longer ride, if you were hungry at the back are some sandwiches and water also.”
Felix just nodded looking at the back but not taking anything, he just put on his seatbelt and closed his eyes, “we can go now.”
“Yes, sir!” Bangchan saluted and they were on the way in seconds.
It was maybe a two hour ride with a stop at a studio but now they were standing in an elevator, Felix leaning onto a wall still sleepy hugging his backpack as Bangchan was too kind to take both of his suitcases.
“Welcome to your new home!” Bangchan patted him on the back as he opened the door to a bigger hallway connected with a not small living room. Felix knew Bangchan was already bailing in money but he did not think that much, but Felix stood by his decision of paying the rent as he should.
“It's big,” Felix put down his shoes together with jackets and started walking around scanning the room, “you have roommates right? There are too many doors for a two bedroom dorm!“
“Oh yeah! Didn't I tell you? Jisung and Changbin! They are right now in New York for an internship but they should come back for the new semester as you!”
“Nah you did not tell me mate,“ Felix shook his head.
“Oh god I missed the aussie accent so bad!” Bangchan laughed and smiled. “Come I will show you everything.
“And lastly, beside this room is yours,“ Bangchan smiled, opening a door to a bigger bedroom with a decent sized bed already with some sheets on it. “Unfortunately, you are sharing the bathroom with the neighbor so in this case Changbin, but he is harmless don't worry,“ Bangchan smiled, “Jisung is way worse trust me.”
“If Changbin will be okay with it I don't really care,” Felix smiled, putting his backpack on a table and taking the suitcases in.
“He knows you will be his bathroom roommate and he was okay with it, I think, just to warn you, he signs in the shower,“ Bangchan laughed. “Okay I will let you pack out if anything just shout at me okay? I will be in my room.“
Felix just nodded, smiling at him, waving him goodbye.
“Oh and lastly, I know you probably don't care but Jisung is a gay and Changbin is bisexual so just to let you know and also my friends will be coming tonight to hang out. They are very excited to meet you,” as he finished it he just closed the door.
Felix just shook his head, Bangchan knew he was gay and the information he gave him does not bother him at all, well at least none of them were some perverts, but if they are friends with Bangchan.. they won't be.. hopefully.
He was packed out really quickly as it was just clothing and some hygiene and technical stuff. He planned to visit some design shops so he can properly arrange his room. The walls were white excluding the one behind his bed which was black with LED lights over the headboard. He had some plans already with the furniture and other stuff, but now it was time to change into some comfortable clothing and jumped under the blankets slowly falling asleep. (blanky mode)
After maybe an hour Bangchan went out of his room as he heard nothing and slowly peaked in the younger's room. Felix was cuddled in the blankets, longer hair messy and over the pillow slowly breathing, sometimes snoring and hugging another pillow. Bangchan did not forget to take a picture of him and send it to Felix's mom, with a message: „Hi! Felix probably forgot you due to sleep, but he is already here! I will let him know to inform you either way!”
He and Felix's family were close as they lived nearby and their mothers worked together. Even after he and his family moved to Korea they never stopped talking because both of their moms knew they were really good friends.
Bangchan arrived in the kitchen playing some silent music to fill up the silence and started preparing food. He knew Felix will be hungry, poor boy texted Bangchan late at night how he can't sleep because he is to excited but also nervous but Chan understand it so he let him sleep.
Felix woke up at a louder ring signaling someone will come. As he woke up he got a little scared not knowing where he was but after some seconds he calmed down. Multiple voices and laughs were coming from the hallway and Felix got curious. Slowly untangling from the sheets and putting hoodie on him he went out.
“Shush you dumbasses Felix is sleeping,“ was the first thing he heard and after that a muted slapping sound. Felix peaked from the corner looking at Chan and three unknown men, they looked just about the age of Chan and one younger.
“H-hello,” Felix came to them, stuttering in Korean with an Australian accent. He did not talk in Korean for a long time as their family mostly talked in english.
All of the eyes were on him. “You see? You woke him up Hyunjin!” Bangchan whined, “you can go to sleep if you want Lix, I will make sure they are silent.”
“No, no it's okay,” Felix smiled, slowly getting into Korean already. He looked at the rest of the boys, “I'm Lee Felix, Korean name Yongbok, but please call me Felix, nice to meet you,” he bowed as deep as he could.
Short haired boy with dark eyes just chuckled, “no need to bow so deep Felix,” he gently held him by elbow straightening him up.
“I'm Lee Minho, oh what a coincidence,” Minho smiled after he realized they have the same family name, “you can call me Minho and I would prefer if you won't call me hyung.. I'm not as old as this old man!“ He patted Bangchan back, smirking.
“Oh god,” Bangchan rolled his eyes, “greet each other and come eat.”
“Hi I'm Hyunjin!“ Next was a boy with blond longer hair now tied in a lower bun. He was taller than Felix but not much.
“Nice to meet you hyung,“ Felix gently bowed with his head smiling at him.
“You have pretty freckles, can I take pictures of you?” he tilted his head observing his face.
“Oh, oh,” Felix blinked several times and his ears turned a little bit red under the compliment, “i-if you want to I have no problem,“ he nodded. Hyunjin just jumped a bit with a loud 'thank you' and followed Minho to the kitchen.
Felix turned to the last boy with black short hair.
“Nice to meet you hyung, I'm Yang Jeongin,” he was the first to start following with a bow.
“Ah no! Don't call me that I feel old!” Felix squiled, “please don't call me that I am not used to it at all.”
Jeongin just laughed, smiling at him, “okay,” he nodded. “Come or they will eat everything, you don't know them but they are like pigs sometimes,” Jeongin smiled and walked to the kitchen. Felix followed him and looked at two boys already enjoying their food.
“Oh and Seungmin said he won't be coming today because he had some meet up with the vocal coach,” Hyunjin looked at Chan after he swallowed.
“Oh okay, but you will need to take some food to him because I made too much,“Bangchan smiled, putting more dishes on the table. Felix and Jeongin sat down, “Seungmin?” he mumbled.
“Oh he is our other friend,“ Hyunjin looked at him with a big smile.
“Friend,” Minho smirked at Hyunjin who now turned red.
“Shut up Minho, or I will start with Jisung,” after that they both shut up, making Felix want to know more.
They all ate talking about some university stuff, Felix mostly listening as he was trying his best to understand what they were talking about.
“Oh and when are the hyung coming back?” Jeongin looked at Bangchan.
“Jisung texted that they are flying the day after tomorrow,” Minho mumbled with full mouth.
“What? Weren't they supposed to come at the end of the week? God these kids, they don't tell me anything!” Bangchan sighed.
“Oh hyung,“ Felix swallowed the meat, “would it be possible if we go shopping tomorrow? I want some furniture for my room and I don't have a car.”
“Oh,“ Bangchan space out thinking, “unfortunately, I'm free just till 1pm so it's up to you!”
“Yup, no problem I can wake up,” Felix smiled widely.
“Oh no, I'm blind now,“ Hyunjin covered his face as he was looking at Felix the whole time, “sun is shining right to my eyes!“
Felix just laughed, his ears and cheeks turning red again.
Rest of the boys just laughed, Bangchan shaking his head. “Oh and actually if you would like to go somewhere after Bangchan is already busy I can give you a ride,” Hyunjin smiled at him finishing his food.
“No, don't do it, don’t trust him!” Jeongin looked at Felix with fear in his eyes. Freckled boy just laughed and shook his head, “I’m okay with just a few hours, if I don’t find anything I will just order it,” Felix smiled, “but thank you hyung,” he gently bowed towards Hyunjin.
“Oh, are hyung,” Minho smiled, patting Hyunjin on the back. Felix just smiled, “If you don’t like it I will try my best to not use honorifics but when I’m here I just switch automatically,” he laughed finishing his food.
“Actually!” Bangchan looked at him after some seconds staring at his phone, “we can go look for something now too, there are some shops open!”
Felix looked at him and his eyes sparkled, “I would be happy,” he nodded quickly, “will you go with us?” He looked at the rest of the guys.
“I can go!” Both Hyunjin and Jeongin said it at the same time then just laughed. Felix nodded looking at Minho finishing his food also, “I can’t join you unfortunately due to my cats and I have a morning training, but enjoy it.”
“It’s okay hyung,” Felix smiled, “wait you have cats? I wanna see them show me!” Felix’ eyes once again making Minho smile and pulling out his phone showing many pictures of his cats.
After that they just hopped on a Bangchan car. Minho politely refused Chan to give him a ride and order a cab. They didn’t spend a long time in shops as it was already late but Felix found some things he wanted and Hyunjin together with Jeongin gave him many praises for a good taste.
