Work Text:
When Craig entered Tweek's bedroom for another hangout, he spotted a notebook from beneath the pillow on Tweek's bed. He's seen this notebook before, as it was a gift from his Aunt to write his thoughts out. Though it looked like random bullshit to many, Craig enjoyed hearing Tweek read it out loud sometimes, especially the story ideas. Though Tweek never let anyone read it, which is understandable. It's a navy blue leather notebook with a nature pattern engraved on the front cover. The pattern includes leaves, vines, and flowers, creating a beautiful design. The notebook has lined pages and comes with a matching ribbon bookmark.
Tweek was headed out to grab snacks for both of them, and he decided to check out the first page. What could Tweek be hiding? Craig loved his story ideas, so that's what he assumed he'd read. He grabbed the Notebook and opened it.
"In the vast expanse of the universe,
There's one star that shines the brightest,
A tall guy with jet-black hair and blue eyes,
A tan complexion that's just right."
"He's got braces that complement his smile,
And a love for space that's out of this world,
His passion for the stars and the galaxies,
Makes my heart soar like a little bird."
Craig paused. Was this poem about him? He flipped the page.
"He's a big softie, hidden under his tough persona,
A gentle heart that's pure and kind,
His love for guinea pigs is a testament to,
To his caring nature that's hard to find."
"Whenever I see him, my heart skips a beat,
I can't help but feel my love grow stronger,
For the tall guy with jet-black hair,
Who makes my days a little brighter and longer."
He never expected Tweek to write such beautiful Poetry. He read the other page.
"His touch is like a warm summer breeze,
A gentle caress that soothes my soul,
With him by my side, I feel complete,
My heart and his are one and whole."
"I cherish every moment spent with him,
Every laugh, every kiss, every hug,
For the tall guy with jet-black hair,
Is my heart a most precious love,"
'Shit, this is too fucking wholesome!' Craig thought to himself. He flipped the Page, at the end of the Poem now.
"I want to explore the universe with him,
Discover new worlds and stars,
For with him by my side, anything is possible,
Our love will never be far."
"So here's to the tall guy with jet-black hair,
With a love for space and guinea pigs,
My heart belongs to you, my love,
Forever and always, our love will never digress."
Craig quickly closed the notebook and slid it back under the pillow, a grin spreading across his face. The poem he had just read was exquisite. Tweek would never have thought of himself as a poet, but Craig knew better. He buried his face into the soft mattress and let out a scream, feeling his cheeks and ears turn bright red.
Suddenly, Tweek's voice interrupted his thoughts. Craig looked up, startled, and turned to see a confused Tweek holding a bag from the convenience store. "-Ngh- What happened while I was out?" Tweek asked, his head cocked to the side.
"Nothing, just... the thought of something stupid," Craig mumbled, trying to hide his smile.
Tweek giggled and snuggled up next to Craig. "A-Are we going to watch that space documentary -ngh- you've been wanting to watch?" he asked, his voice soft and sweet.
"Right- Sorry," Craig stood up quickly and so did Tweek.
"Are you -ngh- sick? Your face is bright red!" Tweek pointed out.
"No, it's fine," Craig grabbed Tweek's hand and kissed it gently, causing Tweek to blush.
"D-Don't be such a -Ack!- flirty d-dork!" Tweek stuttered out embarrassed.
Craig couldn't help but giggle at Tweek's reaction. "Why not? You're just so adorable when you blush," he teased, causing Tweek to stumble over his words in response.
"I...I..." Tweek trailed off, his face turning even redder as he struggled to find a response.
Craig wrapped his arms around Tweek's waist and pulled him close, gazing deeply into his Pale Blue eyes.
"You know I love you, right?" Craig whispered, his breath tickling Tweek's cheek.
Tweek's blush deepened as he nodded his head, a smile spreading across his face. "Y-yeah, I love you too," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
Craig leaned in and pressed his lips gently against Tweek's, savouring the taste of his soft lips. Tweek's arms snaked around Craig's neck, pulling him closer, as they deepened the kiss.
When they finally pulled away, Tweek's eyes were shining with love and adoration.
"-Ngh- You make me so happy, Craig," Tweek said, his emotion-filled voice.
"I'm glad I can make you happy, Honey," Craig replied, his heart swelling with love.
They cuddled together on the couch, watching the space documentary as they held each other close. For Craig, there was no greater feeling than being with the person he loved most in the world. A talented man who can Bake, Play the Piano, and Write Poetry? Someone who could see past him and not judge him? Someone who saw his dorky, soft side that many would call childish? That's all Craig saw, and despite their struggles, they both loved each other at the end of the day.
"My love for you, Tweek, is like no other," Craig thought to himself as he rested his head on Tweek's shoulder. Despite Tweek's twitchiness, he snuggled closer to Craig under the blanket. But Craig couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that lingered in the back of his mind. He had read through Tweek's notebook without his knowledge, and it felt like a violation of his privacy. As Craig pondered to himself about how to approach Tweek regarding the sensitive issue, he knew that he had to tread carefully. Tweek was a precious and anxious person, and he tended to react strongly when he was upset or angry.
'...I'll talk to him about it later,' Craig thought to himself before letting himself rest close to Tweek. 'Right now, I just wanna be with him,' He then thought
