It was a cold and wet April morning and Katsuki's turn to go and restock the "hoard" of snacks the Bakusquad kept for "special apocalyptic purposes" that Bakugo knew would never come and even if they did, he was sure that they'd all go savage because of the lack of WIFI the apocalypse would have. He was already listing who would die first, being either Denki -for his lack of braincells- or Mina -as he thought she would go insane if she learnt that TikTok might have to shut down because of it-. Bakugo liked it when they had fun but always decided not to show it. He didn't want them to think that he was being "childish". The rain was getting harder now but he didn't care. He'd always liked to take the long way to the markets so he could take a look at the flower gardens. He smiled. Deku always liked the roses here he thought. He smiled. A tear ran down his cheek. It had been so long since he'd seen Izuku, even after he'd apologised to him at the end of secondary school for being a shitty friend. "I guess things changed after you left, Izu." He looked up from where he was standing. He had always tried to avoid the water fountain to stop thinking about Izuku. He smiled even more at a memory of 10 year old him and Izuku sitting on the rim of the fountain, laughing and screaming at each other when they got splashed with water for not letting the other one speak. And now, Bakugo had been accepted into UA and Deku someplace else with All might, heck maybe across the country. He had never hated his favourite hero this much in his life. That damn bastard took Deku away from me and now he's gone and probably thinks I'm a bastard too. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists in fury. He needed to start walking or he'd never get Kiri's chocolate doughnuts in time. He started to walk and then broke into a sprint. He needed to get away from this place before the others thought something had happened and gone looking from him. THUMP.
"S-Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going."
"It's fine, idio-."
"K-Kacchan..?"
"Deku!?"
