Chapter Text
"Idia, my dear!" you ran to embrace your beloved. All the stress you accumulated melted in no time having your boyfriend safe and sound in your arms.
Idia felt finally relief after so many hours in agony overthinking everything. He began to think you wouldn't even show up to save him, which now he realizes how foolish of him was to even doubt you. He was so lucky to have you as his partner, his heart grew when he saw you burst in the cafeteria doors to his rescue.
You both remained in the other's arms for a little while, neither wishing to part. It was such a stressful day for the both of you and all you wanted was to enjoy the hug and get away from it.
"Man.. this was the worst," Idia sighed and you agreed fully. "I am never going out. Ever again." at this you couldn't help but chuckle.
You parted to hold his shoulders and look at him.
"But what about our progress?? You were doing so well and you seemed to actually like going now."
"I am sorry to inform you that your progress has been deleted by this unexpected event. You're back at square one." he shot you a playful glance and a little grin.
"Are you okay, though?" you asked worriedly for your boyfriend's well being.
"Well.. I've had better times than this. My neck is so cold because the ghosts decided to tie up my hair." he complained and you didn't waste a moment to untie his hair and bringing a strand from each side to his neck to warm him up.
His hair flared up at your gesture, the tips already getting pink.
"Is this better?" you smiled at his face dusted in pink, nodding in response. He couldn't keep watching you in the eye and instead pointed his gaze to your outfit.
You were wearing formal clothes like the others and you looked like you were about to get married yourself. The clothes had rips and holes from battling your way to Idia and for a moment he couldn't help think about you two getting married in some future, which resulted in the blood to boil in his cheeks.
"Let's go back to Ignihyde. I want to get out of this suit as soon as possible." he made a gesture as if to shrug off the suit. You chuckled and nodded, taking it off to Ignihyde dorm.
"To be honest you look nice. The suit quite suits you." Idia believed that if you kept going with the compliments he was going to combust.
"You don't look so bad yourself.." he muttered barely a whisper. Even though you heard, you decided to keep it to yourself. Knowing Idia, he would've been embarrassed to hell and back, so you just smiled and walked to Ignihyde.
