Falling Down, Down, Down…

Summary:

Billy breaks out of prison during the events of Scream 6 and goes to help Sam. Instead of Sam and Bailey falling over the banister it’s Billy and Bailey. Sam may or may not have had a mini heart attack watching it happen.

FUCK”

Was the only warning Sam got before she could only hear the glass display cases behind her break. She sprayed Quinn and Ethan’s blood everywhere as she whipped around to see Billy laying in the shattered glass next to Bailey.

“NO!” Sam yelled, or at least she thinks she did, with how quickly Tara came over she must’ve yelled it

“Don’t move his neck!” Tara called

*I know not to do that!* Sam thought, she didn’t say it though, Tara was only trying to help

“Grab him from under his arms, I’ll grab his legs” Sam told Tara “Try not to jostle him too much”

Her sister nodded and did as she requested, helping her move her murderous father away from the glass shards. They set him down a little away from the display cases filled the Ghostface robes. After Sam looked over to make sure Bailey wasn’t trying to get up.

“Sam…” Tara mumbled, showing her sister her blood cover palms

Sam looked at her own palms, also caked with blood.

”Flip him over” Sam ordered, before realizing someone else was here “KIRBY!”

“I’m good!” She wheezed

Sam bit at her lips looking between Billy, Tara, and Kirby. Closing her eyes she tried to muffle the voices surrounding her so she could think.

“Tara go help Kirby. I got Billy.” Sam told her, Tara didn’t question it and rushed to help Kirby

Looking at Billy’s back she saw glass shards sticking out of this back and large gashes on his skin. She whipped her head around trying to find a first aid kit when Tara called her name and threw one at her.

Nodding at her sister she tore open the first aid kit and started pulling out everything that she needed. Thankfully none of the glass seemed to be buried into him to deep, but it was still going to hurt like a mother fucker when she did remove it.

Putting on a pair of gloves Sam picked up the tweezers and started removing the glass. The wounds flowing freely instead of clotting like they were when the glass was imbedded in his back. The blood that had clotted was slowly running down his back, deep red almost black globs rolling down and leaving red when their wake.

She had to hold Billy still with one hand as he kept jolting with pain every time she removed a piece, even if she was still unconscious. She must’ve removed a piece that was embedded in a nerve or something because Billy arched his back and screamed.

SON OF A-“ Billy began, cutting himself off when he felt all the pain in his back

“Sorry! I’m Sorry!” San yelped, her gloved hands starting to shake.

Billy looked over at the glass shards that Sam had pulled out of his back. His eyes widened a little before a twisted smile graced his face.

“Oh…that’s not good” Billy chuckled

“I have to remove the rest of the glass so I can bandage your wounds” Sam told her

Billy waved his hand “Do your worst”

Sam continued pulling the glass out of his back and continuous apologized to him whenever he hissed it tensed up. Eventually he got tired of her constantly apologizing to him. He hissed along the signs of Stop apologizing and remove the fucking glass.

Sam found herself slightly fascinated by the blood oozing out of Billy’s wounds. The blood flowing freely for a little, then slowing, clotting in thick globs.

“Where’s Bailey?” Billy asked, picking his head up, not noticing Sam’s morbid fascination with his blood

“Knocked out, you took him down with you when you went over the banister.” Sam explained

Sam took out the small bottle of hydrogen peroxide and poured it off the wounds. Billy bit down on his tongue as she poured it over the wounds. The skin around the cuts puckering and turning white, Sam froze, she’d never seen anything like that before. Billy noticed her hesitation and turned to head to look at her.

”Is my skin turning white?” Billy asked

Sam nodded

“That’s normal, it just means the skin and wounds are dirty n’ shit” Billy explained, his voice still strained

Sam nodded shakily and continued to clean the rests of the gashes on him.

“I'm runnin' out of time, I need a doctor, call me a doctor, I need a doctor, doctor, To bring me back to life” Billy hissed out

“That’s not funny” Sam told him, though the shaky smile on her face and shaky laugh she let out told a different story

Taking out the gauze she started bandaging started bandaging his back. Sam carefully began to bandage this back, doing more layers than probably necessary. After she was done she pulled Billy’s shirt back down, that shirt was toast, large rips in it and stained with blood.
Billy pushed himself up, but stayed on his knee, face scrunched up in pain.

“Is there any painkillers in there?” Billy asked

Sam nodded and handed over a small package of painkillers that Billy dry swallowed. His eyes widened a little as he did so.

”You okay?” Sam asked

Billy nodded, looking around and taking in the scene before him, Bailey was still passed out in the glass. Tara also seemed to be finished helping Kirby as she was now much calmer and was standing.

Billy got up and walked over to Bailey, kicking him a little before bending down and grabbing his mask off of him. Then walked back to the Ghostface robes cases and opened the only one in a display case, the one marked BillyHe grabbed the robes and walked back over to Sam, motioning for her to hold out her hands.

She did so and Billy placed the robes and mask in her hands, letting her stare at them for a little. Then she ran her finger against the material of the robes and traced all the scratches and blood stains on the mask.

So what do you say Sammy? Are you up for a little switch-a-roo?”
