It's been a few years since you died...
It's quiet. The silence is notable...
Nothing but the sound of the wind blowing past my ears.
Oddly enough, I begin to notice the snow under my feet, and the faint cold breeze slowly dragging my hood to the side. The cold air flowing through.
The snow is pretty pale, unmoving and still. There's not a lot to go off of...
Mom and Dad took Sally out to the playground, I was supposed to follow... but things... they always feel a little heavier today. There's always a weight on my chest.
I mustered some energy to walk to you, dragging my feet against the snow.
I take a moment to look...

The thickness of the air really echoes my thoughts, the ceiling airing down any mass it has.
I take one last look...
You and Mari... gone.
Your photos are scattered all around, quietly and peacefully. You're smiling... You're with your friends...
And that's all that's left of you, unmoving and still.
Well, that's it, right?
Can't do anything about it.
Not sure what the takeaway is from this... if there's even anything to learn.
I steadily move away... My hoodie gently tugging back against the movements...
A faint familiar smile graces my shoulders...
