He didn't know why he was feeling like this but he was. And it was all over a stupid reason aswell. The thing is , this was all because he saw Kunikida with Chuuya.
Now , Dazai knows that Kunikida would never do a thing like that to him. However this has all started because Chuuya was with him. And Dazai still disliked Chuuya alot.
And now all he had to do was wait for Kunikida to come back.
It was a long wait but he did eventually show up and Dazai took the first chance he could to go talk to him.
"Hey Kunikida" Dazai said.
Kunikida turned round to see Dazai walking up to him. And stopped once he saw that something was different about him.
"Dazai?" He asked getting the feeling that something was up.
Kunikida saw that Dazai looked serious so he was sure that something must be up. So with that he decided to ask him.
"Dazai whats wrong?" Kunikida asked and Dazai just stared.
"I know what you're up to." He said. This was new. However , the problem was Kunikida wasn't sure what Dazai meant by that.
And he was certain that he wasn't planning anything at all. So he decided to ask again.
"What do you mean Dazai?" He asked.
"What I mean is that you're leaving me for someone else." He said not taking his eyes of him.
Kunikida was shocked as he would never do that to anyone. Now it seemed that he was at a slight loss for words. He had no idea what he did or who he was with to make Dazai think like that. So with that Kunikida did his best to try and tell Dazai the truth.
"Dazai you know I would never do that."
However , Dazai only stared. It seemed that he was fully convinced that Kunikida was going to leave him. But whatever might have started this , he would never know.
"Don't lie Kunikida." Dazai started. "I saw you. You were with him." Kunikida had no clue who Dazai was referring to but in the end Dazai soon gave an answer on who they were.
"You're leaving me for Chuuya aren't you." He said as he stared at Kunikida.
So thats what this was all about. Dazai had seen him with Chuuya and had come to the conclusion that Kunikida was cheating on Dazai with Chuuya and was going to leave him for good.
Kunikida had no idea why Dazai would think that he would do something like that to him. So it was now time to clear things up and put this behind them.
"Dazai listen." Kunikida started. "You've got this all wrong. Yes I was with Chuuya." Dazai glared at the mention of Chuuya but Kunikida continued. "But we're just friends. Nothing more."
Kunikida hoped that Dazai would understand after the whole confusion thing and it seemed like it was working.
"You're friends?" Dazai asked sounding confused. "And I had no idea. " Kunikida had also rememberd that he never even told Dazai about his friendship with Chuuya.
"Sorry I didn't tell you about that." Kunikida said now feeling a little embarrased.
However none of that matterd now that they both now needed to talk things out with each other and to make sure something like this dosen't happen again.
"So what do we do now?" Dazai asked.
That was something Kunikida was still thinking about. But soon enough he was able to think of some kind of answer that will hopefully clear things up.
"Next time I will make sure to tell you about something like this so that way we can make sure this won't happen again." Kunikida said.
"Ok sure." Dazai said. It seemed that things were pretty much back to normal now so they went about their day like nothing had happened.
After all that both Dazai and Kunikida had decided that they would from now on tell each other about things like that to avoid more misunderstandings.
