Chapter Text
As Toga walked through the bustling streets of the city, she couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. She had taken on the form of a young girl with curly brown hair and was on her way to a clothing store to pick out some new outfits with the money Hawks had given her. But as she walked, she heard a loud commotion, and her curiosity got the best of her.
Toga made her way over to the crowd of people who were shouting and gasping in shock. When she arrived, she saw that destruction was everywhere. Cars were overturned, buildings were damaged, and debris was scattered all around. Her heart raced with anticipation and excitement.
She couldn't resist the urge to investigate further, so she pushed her way through the crowd, eager to see what was happening. As she got closer, she caught a glimpse of a figure in the distance. The figure was surrounded by smoke and dust, making it difficult to see who or what it was.
Toga's eyes gleamed with excitement as she got closer. She could feel her heart pounding with anticipation, wondering what kind of chaos this person was capable of. Her mind raced with possibilities, and she couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
But as she got closer, Toga realized that the person in front of her was a villain. Her excitement turned to fear as she realized the danger she was in. She knew she had to get out of there, but her curiosity kept her rooted to the spot.
Toga watched as the villain unleashed a powerful attack, causing even more destruction. She knew she had to get away before she was caught in the crossfire, but a part of her couldn't help but feel exhilarated by the chaos and danger around her.
As the villain turned to leave, Toga followed from a safe distance, eager to see what would happen next. She knew that she was playing with fire, but she couldn't resist the thrill of the chase.
Toga stopped in an alleyway, her eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. As she turned a corner, she caught sight of a familiar face, and a wicked grin spread across her lips.
Ochaco-chan?!
Ochaco Uraraka stood her ground, fists clenched. She was breathless as she stared down at her opponent.
"You heroes are all the same," he sneered. "All talk and no action. Let's see what you've got, little girl angst. The great Electrode." The villain cracked his knuckles and grinned, eager for the fight to begin.
Ochaco Uraraka stood her ground, her fists clenched tightly at her sides. Despite feeling breathless, she kept her gaze fixed on her opponent. She refused to show any signs of weakness.
As the villain taunted her, she gritted her teeth and braced herself for the fight. She knew she couldn't let his words get to her. She was a hero, and she had a duty to protect the innocent.
"The pro heroes are coming," another student yelled. "We need to get the civilians to safety!” Ochaco yelled back.
The Electrode charged at the hero in training, throwing a powerful punch that Ochaco barely dodged. She retaliated with a swift kick to his side, but he barely seemed to feel it. "Is that all you've got?" he taunted.
Ochaco gritted her teeth and charged at him again, this time using her quirk to float in the air and deliver a flurry of punches and kicks. But Shockwave was ready for her, and he countered each of her attacks with a powerful shockwave that sent her flying backward.
As Ochaco landed on her feet, barely, she approached Electrode, bracing herself for his next attack. The villain stood before her, his muscles bulging as he prepared to unleash a devastating blow, but she used Zero Gravity to evade.
Ochaco tensed up, ready to dodge anything that came her way. Suddenly, Electrode leaped forward, his fist glowing with energy as his attack sent Ochaco hurtling through the air.
Ochaco crashed into a nearby building, her head spinning from the impact. She struggled to get back up.
Toga watched with intense interest as Electrode and Ochaco battled fiercely. As an avid fan of hero fights, Toga couldn't help but feel her heart racing with excitement as she watched the two combatants clash. She was impressed by Electrode’s raw power, but Ochaco's agility and quick reflexes gave her an edge in the fight.
As she watched the fight unfold, Toga couldn't help but analyze the strategies of both fighters. She studied Electrode's attacks, trying to find weaknesses that Ochaco could exploit. When Electrode launched a massive shockwave that sent Ochaco flying into a building, Toga winced at the sight of the impact but was relieved to see her get back up and continue the fight.
Toga was particularly intrigued when Ochaco activated her quirk, causing Shockwave to become sluggish and slow. She could sense the villain's frustration as he struggled to move, and she couldn't help but grin at the sight.
"You're not the only one with a trick up your sleeve," she said with a grin.
Ochaco seized the opportunity. She launched a final punch, hitting Shockwave square in the chest. He stumbled backwards, his eyes widening in shock.
"You may be strong, but I'm not giving up," she said with a determined
With that, she delivered a final blow, knocking Shockwave to the ground. Ochaco stood over him, victorious.
Toga watched as blood dripped down the hero's face, her eyes fixated on the crimson liquid. She couldn't help but feel a sense of exhilaration at the sight. It was like watching a painting come to life.
I need to lay low and stay out of sight.
As Ochaco tried to catch her breath and assess the damage caused by the battle, she heard a voice behind her. "Hey, you!" the voice shouted. "Are you one of those heroes responsible for all this destruction?"
Ochaco turned around to see an angry civilian pointing at her accusingly. She could see the frustration and fear in their eyes, and she knew that she had to handle the situation carefully. "Um, I'm sorry," Ochaco said, her voice trembling slightly with a hint of worry in her eyes. She paused for a moment, gathering her thoughts before continuing. "We were just trying to protect the city," she explained, hoping to make it clear that their intentions were good.
The civilian scoffed. "Protect the city? Look around you! You, heroes, are just as bad as the villains! You destroyed my shop and ruined everything I worked so hard for!"
Ochaco felt a pang of guilt in her chest. She knew that the damages caused by the fight would be extensive, but she hadn't realized just how much they would impact the lives of innocent people. "I'm really sorry," Ochaco said with a gentle voice and a slight bow, expressing her sincere remorse. "We'll do everything we can to make it right," she continued with determination, demonstrating her willingness to take responsibility; She placed a hand on her chest.
The civilian glared at her skeptically, but before they could say anything else….
"Uravity!, look out." A piece of a building came flying.
Uravity quickly got the civilian out of the way. What now?
A shadowy figure emerged from the nearby alleyway.
"Well, well, well," she said, smirking. "Looks like I've found my next victim."
Where are these villains coming from? Where are the pros
"Who are you, and what do you want?" she says with a firm tone. Uravity was floating in the air looking down at the lady.
“Call me Shadowbird, honey.”
Ochaco tensed once more, ready to face a new threat. Shadowbird leaped forward, her movements were quick and precise. Ochaco dodged each attack, but she knew she couldn't keep it up for long.
Shadowbird created a shadowy bird that swooped down and attacked Ochaco, forcing her to backpedal.
Ochaco launched a counterattack, but Shadowbird was too quick. She dodged each punch and kick; her movements were fluid and graceful.
The two continued to clash, neither one gaining the upper hand. Finally, Ochaco saw an opening. She launched a punch, but Shadowbird sidestepped it and delivered a powerful kick to Ochaco's side.
Ochaco stumbled backward, her vision swimming. Shadowbird leaped forward, ready to finish the fight. But before she could strike, Ochaco activated her quirk. She created a series of floating platforms beneath her feet, lifting her into the air.
Shadowbird looked up in surprise, but it was too late. Ochaco launched a series of small platforms from above, each one hitting its mark.
“Will not go down the easily” Shadowbird crashed to the ground, defeated.
Suddenly, another figure appeared from the shadows. It was another villain; she could tell he meant business. He wore a long black coat and a mask that covered his face, and he was holding a dangerous-looking weapon. "I've been waiting for this moment," he said, his voice cold and menacing. "Now, prepare to be destroyed."
Ochaco knew that she was in trouble. She had already used a lot of her energy in the fight against Shadowbird, and she wasn't sure if she had enough left to take on this new adversary. She stood her ground, ready to defend herself and protect the innocent people around her.
But the attacker was too strong for Ochaco to handle. With one swift move, she was knocked off her feet and sent hurtling towards the ground. Ochaco's heart raced as she struggled to regain control of her body, but it was too late. The impact of the fall was too much for her to handle, and she lay there, motionless on the ground.
“Uravity!”
“Hey, hero, do something!” the civilian shouted at the girl on the ground as the villain moved forward.
“Your hero can’t do anything.” Shadowbird got up, and so did Electrode. This fight did not look good.
Toga watched as the civilian violently shook the young hero, eyes filled with tears. "C'mon, do something already, will ya?” she silently said to the man crying. Toga's eyes widened when she saw Ochaco's arm moving towards the civilian. 'Ochaco-chan, what are you doing?'
Toga saw the hero's lips move to tell something to the person in front of her. The civilian started to run away as the hero dragged herself away from the villain with blood and tears running down her face.
"Everyone, RUN to safety now!" Ochaco exclaimed urgently
“What a hero!” The villain kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying and landing on her back next to a child who was caught in the crossfire.
“N- no.” She looked at the villain in fear as she used her energy to send rocks at him.
"I won’t let you hurt anyone else!” Tears were streaming down her face as she shouted, "RUN!" to the child beside her.
Toga was stunned in her place, watching Ochaco’s desperate attempts, not for her safety but for someone else's safety.
“Okay, time to end this,” the villain stepped closer to the crying girl on the ground. He picked her up by the neck and started choking her.
"L-let me go!" in a panicked and desperate tone., thrashing her arms at the man and kicking with her foot as he just stared at her coldly, and she gasped for air.
“Yeah, let her go.” A student ran over but was stopped by the man kicking them away. “Step any closer and I'll snap her neck,” he threatened.
“Where are you, pro heroes?” The villain stood on top of a small building, violently shaking the girl in his hand. “You really shouldn’t bring a child to an adult fight.” He tightened his grip and Ochaco began to lose consciousness.
Toga watched from afar, not knowing what to do. She looked at the civilians just standing there looking.
‘You all have quirks, so why aren't you doing something?’ Her thoughts were interrupted by a fire.
“The pro heroes are here!” a civilian yelled.
“Finally!” The man yelled as Endeavor landed on the ground. “Came alone?”
"If I were you, Endeavor, I'd hold my breath.” A voice came from above as a pink-colored aroma filled the air. People watched as the villains collapsed to the ground.
“You play dirty, Hero!” The villain threw Ochaco aside as he tried to attack the flame hero, but he fell to the ground like the others.
Before the girl hit the floor, a flash of red caught her.
‘Hawksie!’
"Don't worry, we pros have got this covered.” He landed on the ground with the UA student in hand.
"She is... “ The pro hero Midnight came running.
"The student's breathing is slow, but she's still alive. We need to bring her back to UA so that Recovery Girl can treat her.” the winged hero said Clamly.
Midnight walked up to the unconscious girl, patting her on the head. "You did an excellent job, my little hero!” She looked up at Hawks. "Take her back to UA, darling.”
"Endeavor and I will handle the rest!" she smirks
Hawks took off to UA.
Toga dropped to her knees, not knowing how to feel after that. This was one of the times in her life when she was thankful for heroes.
I need to head back to the Hideout…
