They’re dead, and sun wukong killed them.
They can’t see or feel anything but, they know this as a fact. Even in the deepest darkest shadow they mold and hide in they know.
When they where a fresh kill, their body dissolving and blowing away in the wind like dust, Then swallowed whole by the familiar dark void. They knew even when they were nothing but a lost soul devoured by the realm of shadows.
Even when their ghost made out of poorly molded together shadows drifted along the lands, they knew.
They just wish they knew why.
