Work Text:

Minghao arrived in Korea, excited to start his new life as a trainee at Pledis Entertainment. He was determined to make a name for himself and debut as a K-Pop idol. However, there was one obstacle standing in his way: the language barrier.

The company assigned Mingyu, a fellow trainee, to help Minghao with his Korean. At first, Minghao saw it as just another task to complete, but he soon found himself looking forward to their language lessons.

As they spent more time together, Minghao couldn't help but notice how kind and caring Mingyu was. He admired his dedication to helping him learn Korean, and he felt grateful for the attention he was getting.

But little did Minghao know that he was slowly falling for Mingyu. Minghao couldn't believe what he was feeling. He had always thought that his admiration and respect for Mingyu was just that, nothing more. But as he spent more time with him, he couldn't help but notice how his heart would race whenever Mingyu smiled at him or touched his arm in a casual gesture.

It was only when Mingyu had gently corrected him during their Korean lessons that Minghao had realized the true depth of his feelings. Minghao had been so flustered that he had made a mistake in his grammar, but instead of being annoyed or frustrated, Mingyu had simply smiled at him and said, "It's okay, Minghao. You'll get it right next time."

That small act of kindness had set Minghao's heart on fire. He couldn't stop thinking about Mingyu and the way he made him feel. So, without a word to anyone, Minghao had slipped out of the dorm and made his way to the nearest park.

As he walked, his mind raced with questions. Minghao sat alone on a bench in the park, his thoughts racing as he tried to process the feelings he had been experiencing towards Mingyu. He didn't want to accept that he was falling for a guy, especially not his own bandmate.

His heart was pounding in his chest, and he couldn't help but feel like he was doing something wrong. Minghao had always been a good kid, following the rules and staying on the straight and narrow. But now, he couldn't ignore the way his heart fluttered every time he saw Mingyu's smile or heard his laugh.

He couldn't even imagine confessing his feelings to Mingyu, what if he was rejected and the dynamics of the group changed? It was all too much for him to handle. He had never felt this way before, and it was scary.

Minghao's mind raced with questions. Was he really in love with Mingyu? Was this just a passing crush? Did Mingyu feel the same way? He couldn't even begin to answer any of them.

As he sat there lost in his thoughts, he suddenly heard a familiar voice calling out his name. It was Mingyu. Minghao's heart skipped a beat as he turned around to see Mingyu jogging towards him.

Mingyu sat down next to Minghao and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Are you okay? Why did you run off like that?"

Minghao looked away, unable to meet Mingyu's gaze. "I just needed some fresh air, that's all."

Mingyu looked at him with concern, "Is something bothering you? You know you can talk to me about anything."

Minghao's heart swelled at Mingyu's kindness, but he couldn't bring himself to tell him the truth. He just smiled and shook his head, "I'm fine, really. Thanks for coming to find me though."

Mingyu looked at him skeptically for a moment before sighing, "Okay, just know that I'm here for you if you need anything."

As Mingyu stood up to leave, Minghao couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness in his chest. He knew he was falling for Mingyu, but he also knew that it was a one-sided love that he couldn't act upon. He just had to keep his feelings buried deep inside and hope that they would eventually fade away.

Over the days he tried to ignore his feelings, thinking it was just a passing crush, but his heart ached whenever he saw Mingyu with other trainees.

Mingyu, on the other hand, was oblivious to Minghao's feelings. He saw him as a friend and a trainee he was helping out of kindness. He never suspected that Minghao had fallen for him.

Minghao's Korean had improved a lot, and he could finally understand most of what was being said around him. He no longer needed Mingyu's help to communicate with the other members of the group or anyone else for that matter. They still hung out and practiced Korean together, but they also started to bond over other things like movies, music, and games.

As their friendship grew, Minghao found himself liking Mingyu even more. He admired his kindness, humor, and how he was always there for him. But he also knew that confessing his feelings could ruin everything. He didn't want to risk losing his precious friendship with Mingyu.

So, he kept his feelings hidden under the guise of a friendly banter, always teasing and joking with Mingyu. Whenever he felt overwhelmed, he would distract himself by playing games or listening to music. He never let Mingyu or anyone else suspect that he had developed feelings for him.

Mingyu, on the other hand was just happy to have a good friend like him. He appreciated how Minghao always helped him with Korean and how he never judged him for his mistakes. Mingyu was also starting to feel closer to Minghao and looked forward to spending time with him.

One day, they decided to go to a nearby park to enjoy the beautiful weather. As they were walking around, Minghao couldn't help but feel his heart racing every time Mingyu smiled or laughed. He knew he had to control his emotions and not let them get in the way of their friendship.

Mingyu noticed that Minghao seemed a bit distant and asked him if anything was wrong. Minghao quickly shook his head and smiled, telling him that everything was fine. They continued walking around and talking, and Minghao managed to push his feelings aside for the rest of the day.

As they were heading back to the dorm, Mingyu turned to Minghao and said, "You know, I'm really glad we became friends. I don't know what I would do without you."

Minghao smiled back at him, feeling his heart swell with affection. He knew he would do anything to keep their friendship strong, even if it meant hiding his feelings forever.

As the days went by, Mingyu seemed to be getting closer to his new girlfriend. Minghao tried his best to act normal around them, but he couldn't help feeling a twinge of jealousy whenever he saw them together.

One day, Minghao was hanging out with some of the other members of the group when Mingyu and his girlfriend walked in. Minghao felt his heart sink as he saw them holding hands and laughing together.

He tried to keep up his fake smile, but his mind was racing with thoughts of Mingyu with someone else. Minghao excused himself, saying he had to go take care of something, and rushed out of the room.

He walked outside, feeling the cool air on his face as he tried to calm down. Minghao knew he had to get his feelings under control or risk exposing them to everyone. He took a deep breath and focused on his breathing, slowly calming himself down.

As he walked back inside, he saw Mingyu and his girlfriend laughing and having a good time. Minghao couldn't help feeling a pang of sadness, but he knew he had to push his feelings aside and be happy for his friend.

So he joined them and pretended to be happy and carefree, just like before. But inside, he felt a mix of emotions, including sadness, jealousy, and frustration.

After the group hangout ended, Minghao went back to his room and sat on his bed. He thought about his feelings for Mingyu and how he had been hiding them for so long.

He took out his notebook and started writing down his thoughts and feelings, trying to sort through them all. Minghao knew that he needed to find a way to deal with his emotions, so he wouldn't feel overwhelmed every time he saw Mingyu with someone else.

As he wrote, he realized that he was grateful to have such a good friend in Mingyu. And he didn't want to ruin that by letting his feelings get in the way. So Minghao decided to focus on being the best friend he could be and supporting Mingyu, even if it meant hiding his own feelings.

As the years went by, the Seventeen band became one of the most popular bands in the K-Pop industry. Their popularity grew by leaps and bounds, and with it, their friendship with each other grew stronger as well. They had become more than just bandmates, they were like a family.

Their fans loved them for their music, their performances, and their unique personalities. Each member had their own individuality and fans loved them all. As they became more and more famous, they still remained grounded and humble.

The members' parents saw the rest of the members as their own children. They would often come to visit them during their concerts, and would often cook for them and take care of them like their own. Even when they were on tour, they made sure to keep in touch and check on each other.

Mingyu's parents had grown fond of Minghao too, and they treated him like their own son. They knew that Minghao's parents were in China, and they felt that they should be there for him whenever he felt homesick or bored.

Minghao was grateful for the love and care that he received from everyone. He felt blessed to be a part of the Seventeen family, and he knew that he had found his true home in Korea.

Minghao sat at his desk, staring at the photo of him and Mingyu that he had taken on their trip to Busan. They were both smiling widely, their arms wrapped around each other's shoulders, and Minghao couldn't help but feel a pang in his chest.

He had been hiding his feelings for Mingyu for years now, ever since they first became close friends. He didn't want to risk losing their friendship, the one thing that was constant in his life.

But as he looked at the photo, he couldn't deny the feelings that were welling up inside of him. Mingyu had always been there for him, through thick and thin. He knew Mingyu better than anyone else, and he loved everything about him,
from his infectious laugh to his kind heart.

But how could he confess his feelings without risking their friendship? Minghao had been struggling with this question for years, and he still didn't have an answer.

He sighed and closed his eyes, leaning back in his chair. Minghao couldn't help but replay all the moments they had shared over the years. He remembered the time when they stayed up all night talking about their dreams and aspirations, the time when Mingyu comforted him after a tough loss in a badminton tournament, and the time when they snuck out of their dorm to go on a midnight snack run.

Minghao couldn't imagine his life without Mingyu in it, but he also couldn't deny the feelings that were slowly consuming him.

He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. Minghao knew that he had to keep his feelings hidden, at least for now. He couldn't risk losing the one person who had been there for him through everything.

With a heavy heart, Minghao opened his eyes and went back to his work, trying to push aside his feelings for Mingyu and focus on the task at hand. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was holding back something important, something that could change everything.

He had been struggling for years, constantly battling his own emotions, and it was taking a toll on him. He knew he had to do something to change the way he felt.

That night, Minghao decided to go to club alone , he had never been to one before except for with friends . He thought it might help him forget about everything, even if just for a little while. As he entered the bar, he felt a sense of nervousness wash over him, but he pushed it aside and tried to enjoy himself.

Mingyu was engrossed in something on his phone when he saw a post about the movie they had been wanting to watch airing on TV at 11:30 p.m. He quickly thought of calling Minghao to watch it together. When he got to their dorm room, he found it empty. He didn't remember Minghao telling him that he had extra dance practice, so he called him several times, but there was no answer. This was unusual because Minghao always picked up Mingyu's calls.

Becoming worried, Mingyu decided to ask Scoups about Minghao's whereabouts. He
knocked on the leader's door and found a slightly sleepy Scoups opening it. Scoups told him that Minghao had informed him earlier that he would be coming back late today because he had some personal work to do. Mingyu nodded and went to the kitchen to grab some snacks before settling down to watch the movie.

However, the movie was so engrossing that he eventually dozed off. When he woke up, it was already 2 a.m. and the movie had finished. He stretched on the couch, getting ready to go to bed when he heard the lock of the door beeping and then saw Minghao stumbling into their dorm. His state was disheveled, and he reeked of alcohol. Mingyu was immediately concerned for him and confronted him, asking where he had been and why he was in such a state.

Minghao's eyes were glassy and unfocused as he mumbled a vague response. Mingyu could tell that something was seriously wrong, and he urged Minghao to talk to him. However, Minghao was unresponsive and simply stumbled off to his room, leaving Mingyu feeling frustrated and confused.

The next morning, Mingyu couldn't help but worry about his friend's well-being. He noticed that Minghao was often preoccupied with personal matters and would frequently leave the dorm at night, only to return home drunk. He wasn't spending much time with the other members outside of their scheduled activities and seemed to be avoiding them.

Mingyu tried to approach Minghao again, but every time he tried to bring up the subject, Minghao would shut him out or brush him off. Mingyu didn't want to push too hard and respected. Minghao's boundaries, but he couldn't help but feel like he was failing as a friend. He didn't know how to help Minghao and was worried that his friend was spiraling out of control.

Mingyu was feeling upset as he missed spending time with Minghao, his best friend and bandmate. He wondered what had caused Minghao's sudden change in behavior and if he had unintentionally done something to hurt him.

This went on for two weeks until something happened.

During dinner, Dino suddenly pointed at a mark on Minghao's neck and jokingly asked, "Hey hyung, is that a hickey?"He started laughing out loud like his usual self thinking minghao would shoot him a glare or would downright curse him but none of that happened.

Surprisingly enough Minghao's face immediately turned red, and he tried to cover up the mark with his hand. "No, it's not," he muttered, clearly embarrassed.

Joshua chimed in, "Well, Dino might not be wrong." The other members laughed, but Mingyu remained silent, his eyes fixed on the mark.

As the dinner continued, Mingyu's appetite vanished, and he couldn't stop staring at Minghao's neck. The thought that Minghao might be sleeping around made him feel uneasy and disturbed.

Later that night, as he tried to sleep, Mingyu couldn't shake off the feeling of discomfort. He wondered if Minghao's recent behavior was due to him being involved with someone else, but he couldn't be sure.

Two days later Minghao had been running late, causing Mingyu and Hoshi to wait in the van for him to arrive so they could leave. The other members had already reached the office, and Mingyu was growing increasingly annoyed.

When Minghao finally entered the van, Mingyu couldn't help but make a sarcastic comment about him being tired from sleeping around too much. The comment hit a nerve with Minghao, who didn't appreciate Mingyu's insult.

"How could you say that, Mingyu? You know I would never do something like that," Minghao said defensively.

But Minghao wasn't going to let Mingyu get away with his insult that easily. He had something to say that would shock Mingyu to his core.

"It's not me who has a habit of sleeping around, Mingyu. It's you," Minghao spat out, his eyes ablaze with anger.

Mingyu was taken aback. "What are you talking about? I don't sleep around," he protested.

But Minghao wasn't finished. "Remember four months ago when you set me up with that girl? You said my life was boring and I needed to loosen up. Well, I didn't want to do it, but you practically forced me. That was the last time I slept with someone, and it was all because of you," Minghao revealed.

Hoshi, sensing the tension, decided to chime in. "Minghao had extra dance practice yesterday. He was probably exhausted," he said, trying to diffuse the situation. Minghao shot him a grateful smile, glad that someone had his back. He didn't want to start a fight with Mingyu, but he also couldn't let him get away with saying hurtful things like that. The rest of the ride was spent in awkward silence, with Mingyu feeling guilty and Minghao still hurt. They both knew they needed to talk things out, but neither of them wanted to initiate the conversation.

Almost a month passed, and it was finally the day of Minghao's birthday. All the members decided to visit him at night and surprise him with a cake. Dk brought a colorful hat for him, and also held the cake for him to cut. Jeonghan and Vernon wore a teddy bear and a rabbit hat, respectively, and joked that they were his gifts. Seungkwan kissed his hyung's cheek, and they all showered him with love, singing for him and giving him their wishes. Mingyu recorded everything with a camera, capturing every single moment of the celebration.

After the celebration, everyone went back to their rooms. The next day, Minghao left early for work to finish quickly and come back home soon for the party arranged by his bandmates. The other members were having breakfast when Scoups cleared his throat to get everyone's attention. He then told them that a guest would be joining them today.

Everyone's first thought was that maybe Minghao's parents were giving a surprise visit, but everyone fell silent when Jeonghan said, "Guys, Minghao's boyfriend is coming." The room went quiet, and everyone exchanged curious glances. It was the first time they had heard about Minghao's boyfriend.

All the members were shocked but then Jun exclaimed saying that "Oh, he already got one? I remember him telling me that he was going to get one but I wasn't expecting it to be this quick." Seungkwan was the first to question, "What do you mean Minghao hyung has a boyfriend? Wasn't he into girls?" Vernon slightly hit him and he kept quiet. Woozi commented by saying, "Maybe he is bisexual."

The members were then talking among themselves, but Mingyu was quiet. He was really angry at Minghao for not telling him anything despite calling him his best friend. He was not understanding why he hid his sexuality from him. When the hell did he get this boyfriend and why do others seem to know about him more than myself? Mingyu wondered.

Minghao had always shown disinterest in relationships. In fact, Mingyu was the one who would set him up on dates. So why would he go to such an extent to get himself a boyfriend now? Did he really want a boyfriend all this while? If yes, then why didn't he say so when Mingyu was setting him up with girls? Mingyu was full of questions.

Seungcheol, who was observing Mingyu, noticed the change in his friend's behavior. "Are you okay, Mingyu?" he asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Mingyu snapped out of his thoughts and nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine."

Jeonghan, who knew about how Mingyu must be feeling for having no idea about what was going on in his bestfriend's life , gave him a sympathetic look. "I know it's difficult for you, but it's Minghao's choice whether he wants to share this information with us or not."

Mingyu knew Jeonghan was right, but it was hard for him to accept. Minghao was his best friend, and he felt like he was left in the dark. However, he knew he had to respect Minghao's privacy.

As they finished breakfast, the members got ready for their schedule. Minghao, who was still at work, had no idea about the chaos that had unfolded in the morning. He was excited about the party his bandmates had planned for him and couldn't wait to spend time with them.

Little did he know that his best friend was struggling to come to terms with his newfound relationship.

As soon as minghao and his boyfriend entered the room, all the members were taken aback. They were a little surprised but still happy to see minghao with someone he cared about. From the looks of it he was good looking, tall and seemed well mannered. But as they looked at his boyfriend, they couldn't help but think if he was really worthy of their precious minghao.

As they all introduced themselves, mingyu found himself staring at minghao's boyfriend for a little too long. Wonwoo noticed this and nudged him, "Stop staring at him like that, you look creepy."

Mingyu didn't even try to deny it, "I can't help it, okay? I just don't understand why minghao never told me about him."

Dk, who was sitting next to mingyu, chimed in, "I get it, man. It feels like we're losing him to someone else."

Mingyu turned to him, "But it's not just that. It feels like there's something more to it. Like, why do I feel so...jealous?"

Jeonghan, who was sitting on the other side of the room, spoke up, "Maybe it's because you care about him more than just a friend?"

Mingyu's eyes widened, "What? No way, that's not possible."

But deep down, he knew that there was some truth to Jeonghan's words. He had always cared for minghao more than just a friend. He had always been there for him, setting him up on dates and making sure he was okay. But he had never really thought about his own feelings towards him.

As the night went on, minghao's boyfriend seemed to fit in with the rest of the members. They all joked around and had a good time, but mingyu couldn't shake off the feeling of jealousy. He knew he had to sort out his own feelings before he did something he might regret.

After the party was over, everyone went to their rooms, and Minghao went downstairs to bid goodbye to his boyfriend. Mingyu was closing the curtains of his room when he saw Minghao's boyfriend kissing him slightly on his lips. Mingyu felt a pang in his heart, but he tried to push his feelings aside.

He lay on his bed with his arms crossed over his eyes, trying to block out the thoughts of Minghao being with someone else. The truth was, he had been in love with Minghao for a long time, but he never realized it until now. It was painful to see Minghao with someone else, knowing that it was never going to be him.

As he lay there, tears silently slipped down his cheeks. He couldn't understand why it hurt so much to see Minghao with someone else. He tried to tell himself that it was just friendship, but deep down, he knew it was more. It was love, nothing less and nothing more.

He wished that Minghao felt the same way, but he knew that it was just a dream. He felt like a fool for not realizing his feelings earlier, but it was too late now. He had to respect Minghao's decision and not cause any problems for him or interfere in any way.

The night was heavy for Mingyu, and he couldn't stop the tears from falling. He came to terms with his feelings and decided to let go of his love for Minghao. It was a hard decision, but he knew that it was for the best. He couldn't bear to see Minghao hurt, and he didn't want to risk losing his friendship with him.

Mingyu was still determined to respect Minghao's decision, but he couldn't shake off the uneasiness he felt about his friend's boyfriend.

One day, while Mingyu was at a magazine's office for a photoshoot, he saw someone who looked strikingly similar to Minghao's boyfriend, and Mingyu's heart sank as he stumbled upon him

Something about the way he looked at Minghao made Mingyu's stomach churn. He couldn't put his finger on it, but he knew something was off. His curiosity got the best of him, and he asked the staff if they knew the person's name.

The name he was told was different from what he had told them during minghao's birthday party , Mingyu was suspicious couldn't resist the temptation to do some research. He told his manager to get details about him and do a background check on Mingyu knew he was over stepping his boundaries, but he couldn't help but feel protective towards Minghao. He needed to make sure that his friend was not in any danger.

Later that evening, Mingyu's phone buzzed, and he saw a message from his manager. His heart raced as he opened the message, and his fears were confirmed. The boyfriend had a dark past and was notorious for taking advantage of innocent individuals. Mingyu was horrified that his best friend was in danger, and he knew he had to do something to protect him.

Mingyu waited impatiently at the dimly lit alley, his heart beating erratically in his chest. He had called Minghao's boyfriend out for a talk, and the anticipation of the confrontation made him feel both nervous and excited.

As the figure of the boyfriend approached him, Mingyu clenched his fists tightly, trying to control his emotions. He was ready to do whatever it took to protect Minghao from this person.

"You shouldn't have come here," the boyfriend sneered, his eyes flickering with anger.

Mingyu stood his ground, his gaze unwavering. "I know what you've been doing to Minghao," he said firmly. "You've been taking advantage of his innocence, and I won't let you hurt him anymore."

The boyfriend's expression turned cold. "You don't know anything," he spat. "Minghao was just another toy to me, something to pass the time. And there's nothing you can do to stop me."

Mingyu's eyes narrowed, and he took a step forward. "I beg to differ," he said, his voice laced with determination. "I know everything about you, from your shady past to your current criminal activities. I have evidence, and I'm not afraid to take it to the authorities."

The boyfriend's face paled at the mention of the evidence, and he took a step back. "You wouldn't do that," he said, his voice wavering slightly.

Mingyu advanced on him, his tall frame looming over the smaller man. "Try me," he said menacingly. "You have two options: tell Minghao the truth and leave his life for good, or face the consequences."

The boyfriend hesitated for a moment, but ultimately decided to confess. He called Minghao and spilled everything, from his past crimes to his intentions with Minghao. Mingyu listened carefully, his heart breaking for his friend.

As the confession came to an end, the boyfriend stood up, his eyes filled with regret. "I'll leave him alone," he said softly. "I never meant to hurt him, but I was blinded by my own desires. I'll make sure he's safe from now on."

Mingyu nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. "You better keep your promise," he warned. "Or else you'll have to face me again."

As the boyfriend walked away, Mingyu exhaled deeply, feeling the weight of the situation lift off his shoulders. He knew that Minghao would be devastated when he found out the truth, but at least he would be safe from harm.

Minghao was in the practice room with the Performance Unit. They were all sweating from the intense dance practice they were doing. Minghao was taking a break, drinking water and checking his phone when suddenly, it rang. Hoshi noticed it was Minghao's boyfriend calling and told Jun to pass it to him.

Jun, being the mischievous one, suggested putting the call on speaker to hear what Minghao's boyfriend had to say. Dino, being equally playful, teased Minghao by asking if it was going to be too personal. Hoshi quickly shushed them, and the call was put on speaker. Minghao sighed seeing their antics and thought here they go again.

"Hey!" Minghao said softly, but his friends could hear the tremble in his voice.

"Listen, Minghao, I need to tell you something important," his boyfriend said urgently.

Minghao's friends exchanged curious glances, and Jun pressed the speaker button so they could all hear.

"What is it?" Minghao asked, his heart pounding in his chest.

"I've been lying to you, Minghao. I'm not who you think I am," his boyfriend said, his voice quivering.

Minghao's friends gasped, and Dino's eyes widened in shock.

"What are you talking about?" Minghao asked, his voice shaking.

"I've been using you, Minghao. I never loved you. I was only with you for your fame and fortune," his boyfriend confessed.

Minghao's friends were speechless, and Hoshi put a comforting hand on Minghao's shoulder.

Minghao's heart sank as he realized the truth. He felt like he had been punched in the gut.

"I can't believe you would do this to me," Minghao said, trying to hold back his tears.

"I'm sorry, Minghao. I didn't mean to hurt you," his boyfriend said, sounding remorseful.

Minghao took a deep breath and ended the call. He felt like his world had come crashing down around him, but he didn't want his friends to worry.

"I'm fine, guys," Minghao said, forcing a smile. "Let's get back to practicing."

His friends looked at him with concern, but they knew better than to push him. They resumed their practice, but Minghao's mind was elsewhere. He couldn't shake off the feeling of betrayal and hurt.

By now the other members had come to know what had happened. Mingyu returned from confronting the boyfriend and went straight to the practice room to look for Minghao. As he entered, he saw that the other members were practicing, but Minghao wasn't really focused on dancing and looked lost in his thoughts. Mingyu gently pulls Minghao's hand and takes him to the terrace. Minghao tries to resist, but Mingyu's strength proves too much. Minghao looks away, ashamed to show his vulnerability.

Mingyu: "Minghao, it's okay to cry. You don't have to hide your pain from me."

Minghao: "I'm fine, Mingyu. You don't have to worry about me."

Mingyu sees through Minghao's facade and knows that he's not fine. He steps closer and wraps his arms around him.

Mingyu: "It's okay to not be okay. I'm here for you."

Minghao's tears start to flow, and he leans into Mingyu's embrace. They stand there for a while, silently comforting each other.

Mingyu breaks the silence, trying to lighten the mood. "You know, I'm pretty unlucky. If I had realized earlier how much I loved you, I would never have let that jerk into your life."

Minghao looks up at him, confused. "What do you mean, Mingyu?"

Mingyu's eyes widen in shock. He hadn't meant to confess his feelings yet.

Mingyu: "I...I mean, I care about you so much. And I just realized that maybe my feelings for you are more than just friendship."

Minghao looks surprised but intrigued. "What are you saying, Mingyu?"

Mingyu takes a deep breath and pours out his heart. "I'm saying that I love you, Minghao. I've loved you for so long, but I was too afraid to tell you. I didn't want to ruin our friendship."

Minghao's eyes widen in surprise. "Mingyu, I don't know what to say."

Mingyu starts to panic, afraid that he's ruined everything.

Mingyu: "I'm sorry, Minghao. I shouldn't have said anything. I understand if you don't feel the same way."

Minghao takes a deep breath and looks up at Mingyu with a shy smile.

Minghao: "Actually, Mingyu, I've been hiding my feelings for you for a long time too."

Mingyu's eyes widen in surprise and hope.

Mingyu: "Really? You...you love me too?"

Minghao nods, a blush creeping up his cheeks. Mingyu's heart feels like it's about to burst with joy. Mingyu cups Minghao's cheek with one hand, caressing it gently with his thumb, as he leans in to press a soft kiss on his lips.

"I can't believe we waited this long to tell each other," Minghao whispers, his voice filled with emotion.

"I know, it's crazy," Mingyu replies, still in a daze from the overwhelming feelings coursing through him. "But I'm just so glad we finally did."

Minghao nods, and then takes a step closer to Mingyu, pressing his body against his. Mingyu wraps his arms around Minghao's waist, pulling him in tighter, as they continue to kiss, their tongues now exploring each other's mouths.

As they break the kiss, Minghao leans his forehead against Mingyu's, their breaths mingling. "I never thought I'd feel this way again," he says softly, his eyes filled with love and gratitude.

Mingyu smiles, "I'm just happy that you do," he says, before kissing Minghao again, this time with more intensity and passion. They lose themselves in the moment, their bodies entwined, as they kiss and explore each other.

Finally, they break apart, their breaths ragged, and they just stare into each other's eyes, both feeling like they've just found something truly special.

"I love you," Mingyu says, and Minghao's heart skips a beat at the words.

"I love you too," he replies, and then they kiss again, sealing their love and commitment to each other.
