Beep beep beep
The sound of Tashiro's alarm rang out throughout his room.
Tashiro sprung up from his bed to turn off his alarm
"Man... Today is the day!" He exclaimed to himself
He got up and quickly prepared himself for school and left the house feeling extra energetic.

It's no surprise for Tashiro to be energetic, but today was different. He's been so nervous yet so excited for the past few days.
He's been planning for this ever since he realized that what he felt for his senpai wasn't platonic, although it took him a while to fully accept his true feelings he finally made up his mind to finally confess!
"Oh wow, you're early today. Did you eat something weird again?" Kuresawa said.
"Hmph! Shut up, Kuresawa! I have something planned for today!" he said confidently.
Kuresawa pulled a chair and sat beside him and said, "Ohh? What might that be?? Are you shooting your shot for someone this Valentines Day?".
"Hehe, yes! Ah, but please keep quiet about it for now, hahahaha... Oh! And have these sweets I got from my workplace!" He reaches for the sweets in his pockets and handed the sweets to Kuresawa.
"Oh my, is this your way of confessing to me? I'm sorry, but I have to turn you down because I already have a girlfriend, "
"UGH, Shut up! Plus, it's not you stupid! It's... Hanzawa-sempai..." The end came out as a whisper, but Kuresawa seemed to hear it loud and clear
"Oh wow, are you gonna do it now? I think he's in their classroom now, "
"Nah, I plan on doing it after practice so I can run away if he rejects me," he said and laughed.
"Hm, do you plan on giving him a gift?"
"Oh yes! I'll also give him the extra sweets my grandma's gave me in the bath house.
"Ah, well, I wish you good luck on it. If anything goes bad, we will be here for you." Kuresawa said reassuringly to Tashiro
"Hehe, thanks!" .
Kuresawa can sense that this confession is very important to Tashiro, so he truly hoped that Hanzawa wouldn't be very harsh to his friend.
"Oh, by the way, Tashiro, did you finish the homework they gave us yesterday?"
"EH?! WHAT HOMEWORK?!"

At the end of their classes
Tashiro arrived in the gym earlier than he thought, so he was all alone with Hanzawa
Tashiro didn't even notice that he was sweating bullets. He didn't even know if he was nervous or he was just so excited.
Hanzawa sharp intuition sensed something strange about Tashiro today, so he decided to ask the boy beside him.
"Tashiro-kun, are you ok? You're sweating quite a lot... we can get some drinks if you want?"
No response
"Tashiro-kun? Hello?"
Still no response
Hanzawa was starting to get concerned, He thought that he may be something wrong, so he leaned in and put his hand on Tashiro's forehead to feel his temperature.
Tashiro flinched at Hanzawa's sudden touch, and this made him snap back to reality.
"Hmm, you seem ok, but you're sweating quite a lot... are you ok, Tashiro-kun?" Hanzawa asked with a concerned look on his face, Tashiro realizes that their faces are so close to each other, so he leaned away
"O-Oh nono! I'm ok, Hanzawa-san! I was just lost in thought, sorry!" The boy's cheeks slowly turned crimson red
"Are you sure? Is there something in your mind? Please don't hesitate to tell me about them, " Hanzawa said reassuringly
"Hahahaha, no-no, don't worry about it, Hanzawa-san!"
Tashiro's mind was going haywire. He couldn't think straight. "Should I confess here now?? No one is here yet, so I can just book it if anything goes wrong, but I don't think I can!" .
After a while, there was an awkward silence between the two, but finally managed to calm his mind and asked,
"By the way! are you busy after school?" He asked excitedly.
"Hmm? Oh, let me see..." Hanzawa finally leaned away from Tashiro "yes I should be. Why do you ask?" Hanzawa smiled
"Hehehe, I wanna confess to you for Valentines Day, so please prepare yourself!" The pudding haired boy said with a confident smile.
"Eh!?" Hanzawa exclaimed in shock
"You're free after school, right?"
"Yes," he said with a faint crimson red blush forming on his cheeks
"So please meet me after school!"
Hanzawa swears he can see sparkles around the boy.
There was a small pause, he covers his mouth to cover the creeping blush growing on his face, and Hanzawa responded with "ok" now with a fully flustered face
"Oh, are you ok sempai? Why is your face all red?" Tashiro said, now leaning in to see if his senpai is ok.
There was silence again.
Hanzawa broke the silence between the two and laughed.
"Hmm, Hanzawa-sempai?"
"Pfft- Tashiro-Kun, don't you realize that you basically just confessed to me right now? " he laughed while looking at the pudding haired boy in front of him
Tashiro's heart jumped. "How could i be so so stupid?!" Tashiro thought,
"FORGET I SAID ANYTHING!" He said while booking it out of the gym.
Those who were heading in the gym were so confused with all the commotion, so they went to investigate.
When they entered the gym, they were even more confused seeing the captain of the Ping Pong Club with a flustered expression laughing to himself.
Thankfully, Hanzawa managed to hide this expression quickly to avoid any further questions.
They carried on with their club activities, but Hanzawa noticed that Tashiro didn't return for their practice. Although he didn't intend to make Tashiro run away, he feels a bit sad knowing that Tashiro might have misunderstood the situation...
Once Hanzawa was finished with his work in the gym, he thought to himself, "Once I'm finished with my work in the Disciplinary Committee, I'll go meet him." Feeling a bit hopeful.

Meanwhile, Tashiro can be found in the courtyard making a fuss with Kuresawa
"GAHHH KURESAWA, PLEASE HELP ME OUT MAN!" The pudding haired boy said while shaking the man in front of him.
While Miyano was walking through the corridor he couldn't help but hear all the commotion from outside so he peeped to the windows and saw his two friends, he wondered what's all the noise about so opened the window to ask the two.
"Um, what's going on here?" Miyano asked
"Perfect timing, Miyano. Tashiro here seems to have trouble getting his act up,"
"KURESAWAA" Tashiro Cries
"Huh? I don't get it, " Miyano said in confusion
"Well -" as Kuresawa was gonna answer Miyano's question, Tashiro cut him off and said, "Hey! Before you tell him, can you at least keep it down!"
"You're the noisiest one here, thought. Wait a sec, I'll go there. " Miyano said and made his way out of the hallway and into the courtyard.
"So what's up?" Miyano stood beside Kuresawa
"Tashiro ran away from Hanzawa-sempai because he messed up with his confession" Kuresawa said blankly
Tashiro curled up into a ball and groned "hghh now I can never show my face to him, what do I do now...." he said.
"Huh? How did he manage to mess up with hus confession?" Miyano whispered to Kuresawa
"Apparently he was panicking and he said that he was gonna confess to him after school" Kuresawa whispered back,
Miyani was holding back his laughter, and he said "Ohh so that's why you booked out of the gym," he said and then giggled.
"Shut up, you girlfriend and boyfriend haver, you both are lucky that your confessions went smoothly," Tashiro pouted
"Hahahaha I wouldn't say it went smoothly for me, but I'm curious on how Hanzawa-sempai reacted to your sudden confession" Miyano said excitedly
Kuresawa swears he can see Miyano's eyes sparkling like those times when Miyano was rambling about his BL manga.
"Oh true, you never mentioned to me how Hanzawa-sempai reacted" Now both boys crouched down to listen to Tashiro's answer
"To be honest I'm not so sure... I guess he was blushing? And he was laughing, but I'm not sure if he's only finding my scuffed confession to be hilarious or if he actually has an answer for me..." Tashiro said now looking gloomy.
Miyano and Kuresawa started to feel bad for their friend.
Kuresawa pats Tashiro's back and said "well you want an answer don't you?? Why not ask him what's his true answer?" He said reassuringly.
"Yeah! You might never know but maybe he feels the same way as you!" Miyano said to his friend to try lightening the mood.
"I guess that's true, but what if he doesn't want to see me at all now..." Tashiro lowers his head.
"That's not the Hanzawa-sempai we know, he wouldn't just leave you just for that" Kuresawa said.
Miyano hands him a piece of extra candy he got from Tashiro earlier, "Here, have this to cheer you up".
"Thanks..." he said then putting the candy I his mouth.
As the mood was starting to lighten between the friends, they did not notice a certain someone approaching the window.
"Oh~ what are you boys doing here?" A familiar voice said to the three,
Miyano and Tashiro flinched as they heard Hanzawa's voice come out from the open window behind them.
"AH Hanzawa-sempai!" Miyano said, Tashiro hid behind Miyano so he won't be seen by his senpai.
"Hehe there you are Tashiro-Kun, I've been looking for you" he said wearing his usual smile.
"Hanzawa-sempai do you need Tashiro right now?" Kuresawa asked but he's already sure that he is here for Tashiro only
"Oh yes, yes, I have something I want to discuss with him, so I hope you boys won't mind if I borrow him," Hanzawa said with his usual cheerful tone.
"Ah, please take him! Me and Kuresawa were heading to the library anyways, " Miyano said with a slight panic.
"Oh is that so? Alrighty then, I guess that I'll have to accompany him to the train station later~" He said while looking at Tashiro.
"Please, you don't have to sempai," Tashiro said quietly, avoiding eye contact with Hanzawa.
"I guess we'll get going then, I still have to go to my girlfriend tonight, so I think it's best we get going early," Kuresawa said to the two in front of them
"Alrighty then, good luck you two, be good boys and make sure to get home in time," Hanzawa said to his two kouhai while waving goodbye.
As the two leaves, Tashiro can't help but feel nervous
Now that the two are alone, Tashiro has not said a word nor made eye contact with his upperclassmen. Though his original plan was to confess to him alone at a place like this but he didn't mean to mess up his original plan, and now they stand in silence.
Such agonizing silence...
Tashiro was contemplating on what he should do next. His thoughts were spiraling. He was a mess right now.
His usual bubbly self was nowhere to be found, Regret was starting to eat him. He had no clue that he'd feel like this. At first, he thought that he could handle the rejection well, but he's already this stressed out plus he hasn't even gotten his answer yet! So why was he so worked up about it?
This dreaded feeling felt like forever, but his negative thoughts were stopped when he felt someone place their hand on his face.
Hanzawa lifts the boy's face to meet his gaze, and he smiles.
Tashiro stared at Hanzawa's face, and he couldn't help but notice the expression on his face.
Hanzawa looks at Tashiro with such a loving gaze while caressing his cheeks. The spikes in Tashiro's stomach disappeared, and instead, it was replaced by butterflies dancing around.
Tashiro doesn't notice, but his cheeks were already so red.
It was as if he was in a trance when looking at Hanzawa.
Hanzawa couldn't help but let out a giggle " Ta-shi-ro-kuun~, aren't you gonna say something, hmm?" He said, slightly leaning in
Tashiro was going nuts. Tashiro's face is getting red now, although he's aware how obvious this is he still tried to hide his flustered expression by covering his face.
Hanzawa laughs, and he feels so happy. He wanted to keep teasing the boy, but he thought that it's best to clear things up first before proceeding.
"Tashiro-kun, weren't you gonna confess to me today?~" He said while slowly removing the hands that were covering Tashiro's face.
"Hanzawa-saaan," he said, his face grew even more red.
Once Hanzawa removed the hands covering Tashiro's face, Tashiro still wouldn't look at Hanzawa straight in the eyes.
"Tashiro-kun, look at me," Hanzawa said sweetly
Tashiro shook his head
Hanzawa lifts Tashiro's face once again, but this time, he leans closer to the boy's face.
"Hmm, should I just give you my answer then?" Hanzawa said, now stroking the boy's cheek
As Hanzawa was pulling Tashiro to close the gap between them, he felt a hand stopping him right as his lips were about to land on the other boy's lips.
“Hmm?”
“Hanzawa-san… please think about this seriously” Tashiro said with tears forming in his eyes.
At this point Tashiro doesn't know what to feel. He knows how genuine his senpai is, and that's why he fell in love with him in the first place. Although he knows that he cares about him a lot, he's not even sure if Hanzawa feels the same type of love as him.
“Oh Tashiro, what makes you say that this isn't my true answer?” Hanzawa said with now a pained tone
"Well what make you-" as Tashiro was gonna explain his thoughts he was cut off by Hanzawa connecting their lips together.
Hanzawa kisses him again, and again, and again, he kisses his cheeks, his forehead, he doesn't stop. He doesn't want to stop.
Tashiro's whole world shook, was he dreaming right now?! What was happening?! Hanzawa kissing him?! If Hanzawa was not gonna stop he's gonna faint
Hanzawa finally stops, He looks at Tashiro with a loving gaze, making him feel like he's the most precious thing in the world
"Does that answer your question Tashiro-Kun?" He said reassuringly, giving him a quick kiss again.
"....yes" he said, he looks like a flustered mess right now.
"Fufufu Tashiro-Kun you are so adorable right now, I'm happy I finally get to kiss you all I want" Hanzawa laughs
"Finally? Wait you've thought of kissing me before?!" Tashiro shakes the man infront of him
"Hmm yes quite a lot these past few days" he said calmly
"I was all worried for nothing" he groans in frustration, but he's relieved that the feelings are mutual between them both
Hanzawa laughs and hugs him tightly. Tashiro lays his head to the brunette's shoulder, he wants to stay like this forever.
The sun was already setting, although it gave them a pretty atmosphere it also reminded them how late it has gotten.
Tashiro doesn't want to leave at all, he wants to stay with him but he has to go home before it gets too late.
"Hanzawa-san can I kiss you?" Tashiro said leaning away from the hug.
Tashiro isn't used to saying these words especially to Hanzawa, but he feels happy he gets to finally say these words freely to his beloved.
"Oh Tashiro-kun, you don't even need to ask" Hanzawa said already leaning in to the boy
Tashiro holds Hanzawa's face and connects their lips together.
Everything felt slow as they both savor this moment.
It was a long day for them, it was like a emotional roller coaster but it was all worth it in the end. Both of them finally got to what they wanted in the end.
As Tashiro leaned away from the kiss Hanzawa catches the slight frown in the pudding haired boy's face.
Tashiro doesn't wanna leave at all. He buries his face to Hanzawa's shoulder ad hugs him tight
"Tashiro-kun? What's wrong?" He said as he stroke the boy's fluffy hair
"Don't wanna go home"
The brunette laughs and said "Oh Tashiro-kun do you always miss me this much when you go home from school?"
"Hmph, so mean" the boy said as he lifts his head away from Hanzawa
Hanzawa laughs again
"Oh come on now, don't look at me like that, now I just want to make you stay even more. Shall I accompany you to the station?" He boops Tashiro's nose
"Eghh if you insist" he said
"Alrighty then let's go. Don't worry about my job, surely the dorm manager wouldn't mind if I leave only for a bit" he said with a cheerful tone
Although really he didn't want to bother his senpai to go so far to the station just to be with him, there was a part of him that also wanted to go with him they can have more time with each other.

As they walk to the train station,
They were chatting about casual stuff, and Tashiro finally remembered the candies he was supposed to give to his senpai as a gift
They chatted and chatted until they arrived to the train station.
The station wasn't filled much with people, so it looked pretty lonely there
They sat on the chairs on the side as they wait for the next train, Tashiro knows that Hanzawa was supposed to be working as the dorm manager at this late so he insisted that he should wait for the train by himself now, but Hanzawa is quite stubborn on staying with him until the train arrives.
"Hanzawa-saan please it's ok you can go now!"
"No no I'll wait here with you"
"It's ok, really! You might get scolded if they knew the dorm head wasn't even at the dorms yet!"
"Hmm, I think they can handle themselves,"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes... now let's wait for a few more minutes, it should be here soon. "
"Hmm... If you say so then," he said as he leaned into Hanzawa's shoulder
A few minutes passed the train could be heard in the distance
They both stand from their seats and looked at each other
"Hanzawa-san, thank you so much for today" he said as he hugs his love once again
Hanzawa let's out a quiet whisper " Oh Tashiro-kun, it's my pleasure" and he kisses Tashiro's neck
As the train stops, Tashiro finally leaned away
"See you tomorrow Hanzawa-san!" The boy said with a cheerful smile
"See you" he jokingly sent out a flying kiss to the boy
And they finaly parted ways

As Tashiro looks out the window of the train, he feels the burning sensation of Hanzawa's kiss on his neck
Although his original plan of confession didn't go as planned in the end it was successful since he finally gets to call Hanzawa his
He can't wait for tomorrow morning to finally see his beloved again.
