benny decided to do a little "revenge prank" on his grandma. a spell that'll mute her for 1 hour. then she can speak again, sometimes they do small magic pranks on each other. the spellcaster might be going too far but, he was ready. he went to his grandma and said the words. but it didn't work too well. "ribbit" Evelyn looked to her now frog grandson. "well well, your plan backfired didn't it?" she said to Benny, Evelyn then put him in his room. she found an old fish tank and changed it to make it more frog friendly. "ill be back in an hour benny, maybe you'll learn your lesson don't mess with grandma." she said and decided to leave a note explaining the frog was benny. "bye benny!' she said and left the house.
a couple of minutes later Ethan showed up looking for benny, "hey benny?" he shouted. Ethan searched for him everywhere but couldn't find him. he made his way to Benny's room and slowly opened it. "benny?..." he said quietly while walking in to find benny nowhere. "this is weird. I hope he's okay" Ethan thought. The seer looked to the tank. "did benny get a pet without telling me!? how dare he" he said and walked over. "hm? What's this?" he thought and read the note "Benny accidentally turned himself into a frog- will fix later." he read. Ethan wasn't shocked, but he got nervous. "are you gonna be okay?" he asked "he will be finee- just in case I should call the others for some help.
Rory and Sarah arrived minutes later, "is he okay?" Sarah asked the brown-haired boy. "he should be fine, I don't think his grandma would leave him like this alone if he weren't." he responded while they all headed up to Benny's room. "he will be fine Ethan." the seer thought to himself, he was terrified his best friend would stay a frog forever. he wouldn't even of been able to tell him he- "I have figured out a solution!" Rory said since he's been staring at benny for 5 minutes. Sarah and Ethan looked at each other and then at Rory "what's your idea?" Ethan asked. "Ethan kisses him," he said and Ethan must have turned as red as a tomato maybe more. "why me?" he asked "my first kiss with benny cannot happen like this." the dark-haired boy thought. "duh because you two are in love and stories say if you kiss a frog it becomes a prince- so maybe it'd change him back" Rory respond with some sass.
"I have to see this," Sarah said as she pulled out her ZiPod. "no! I'm not kissing him! not as a frog!" he said realizing he probably shouldn't have said it. "but he's your best friend!" Sarah said "you have to do it" Ethan looked at frog benny. "let me think" Ethan surely did not want to kiss a frog. but if it meant saving his best friend he has to do it.. right? the doorbell rang. "ill go get it" Sarah said and went to the door. "this is so stupid- I want him back to normal but kissing a frog? even if it is benny they'd never let it go." he thought, and he came to the conclusion "okay." Ethan said as Sarah came back with erica. "ill do it. but on one condition." they all nodded their heads "no pictures no cameras, we NEVER speak of it again." he said and picked Benny up "he's really doing it!" Rory said "Shh" the girls both shushed him.
as he was about to kiss his best friend the door opened "what are you doing?" it was Evelyn, "we thought-" Rory was about to say. " this isn't a movie. he won't turn back if you kiss him. ethan was officially redder than red and put benny down and covered his face. "ah man," Sarah said. "disappointed" Rory said "I skipped the movies for this" Erica said crossing her arms. "oh my goshhh" I almost kissed benny as a frog!!" Ethan said as he was extremely embarrassed. Evelyn turned benny back "woah" he said looking around, "I'm me again!" benny was very happy to be human again "benny!" Ethan got up and hugged him. "I wouldn't have hesitated to kiss you, Ethan," benny said looking down at Ethan.
Benny kissed his forehead. and hugged back "gross affection" erica said and left. "aww" Sarah and Rory decided to leave as well. Ethan stopped hugging benny "you heard everything?" he asked the taller one. "yeah I was in your hands- I'm not deaf" he laughed a little "oh my gosh" Ethan hid his face in his hands again and benny put an arm around him. "your cute." benny said "I should probably apologize to my grandma.. I never wanna be a frog again." the spell caster said, Ethan laughed and they went downstairs.
