Work Text:
Around 6 PM in a small, cosy and lavender-smelling apartment the sound of the front doors opening could be well heard, as well as light footsteps.
Albedo just came home from college. Him majoring in biochemistry makes him come home late pretty often, as his library visits do turn out to be long. But he has a warm place to come back to. And a person he can come back to.
— Muse, I'm home. — the blonde said, loud enough for anyone inside to hear. He took off his coat and started taking off his boots, in the same time, the doors to their shared studio opened, where Albedo pursued his passion related to art and his boyfriend could play video games while streaming or not. Looks like this time he wasn't.
Sometimes, when Albedo comes back home he can find his significant other streaming. And he's absolutely fine with that. He's happy Kunikuzushi gets to do something he likes and enjoys, even if it means sacrificing some of their time together. Actually, both of them respect their alone times, as they're both not the types to spend 24/7 with their partner.
Just as the blonde took off his shoes, the figure with messy hair and oversized clothes approached him and began freeing his hair from a chaotically done ponytail.
— You look sexier with your hair down. — the shorter male mumbled, placing his lips on his boyfriend's neck, right next to his star tattoo. Kunikuzushi seemed to adore this tattoo a lot. He was nibbling on the other one's skin, but not hard enough to leave any mark.
He then took the taller ones bag and put it on the sofa.
— Go eat dinner. I made chazuke. Less bitter for you. Oh, there's also a pudding waiting for you in the fridge.
— Thank you so much. How's miss Buer? — he asked, heading to the kitchen. He could feel a smile creeping up his face, Albedo appreciated his boyfriend's efforts. It was just so nice of him to make dinner, make the blondes portion less bitter AND buy him a pudding! While from an outsider's perspective Kunikuzushi may seem cold and uncaring, he was actually so thoughtful and kind. Albedo knows it very well, especially because they've known each other for years now.
— She's sick, sent us materials to study with. Why do you think I had the time to be your malewife for today? I also cleaned, if you haven't noticed. — he scoffed playfully, now laying on the same sofa he placed Albedo's bag on, placing his legs the way he won't have them on the bag. Kunikuzushi majored in psychology and miss Buer was his head teacher.
Albedo ate dinner (more like a supper now) and during that, talked with his partner. His meal was still a little bit bitter but it was absolutely fine, sure, he was a fan of sweets but it didn't mean he despises bitter things. Still, Kunikuzushi's thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. He'll have to leave the pudding for the next day, the chazuke was very delicious and it made him full. Not even a small portion of the jelly could fit inside his stomach now.
Then he and his lover just sat together and watched something playing on the TV. They weren't even sure what they're watching. So, being bored, the dark haired male had to start a conversation.
— Albedo, I've looked through your drawings of me today and.. say, why do you always draw my eyes so detailed?
— Your eyes are beautiful. They're like stars. And deserve to be drawn in the most beautiful way possible to humankind.
— Did you spend too much time with Kazuha, mr. "I am a poet now"? — Kunikuzishi laughed, hiding his face. A blush showed up on his cheeks.
— Perhaps. — Albedo also chuckled, truth is, he actually has been spending more time with Kazuha lately. He was a mutual friend of theirs and instead of words, flowers came out of his mouth.
And then it was silence once again. Not complete silence, because the TV could be well heard, but a silence between the lovers. Not that it was uncomfortable, anything but that. They just enjoyed each other's company now.
Minutes passed and they watched whatever stupid show just played on the screen, Kunikuzushi's head on Albedo's shoulder. Warm and comfortable.
— Say, Albedo, why don't you draw me like one of your French girls? — after some time, Kunikuzushi started the conversation again, with a big grin on his face.
— Huh? What French girls? I draw no French girls..
— It's a "Titanic" quote. Don't tell me you didn't watch Titanic.
— I didn't.
— Then you're doing this now. You'll draw me naked later.
— Huh? Oh. Alright.
