Fontaine was advanced, more advanced than Mondstat.
Diluc had been to Fontaine twice, once with his Father when he was very young and again when he was traveling Teyvat.
Kaeya had convinced him to come visit Fontaine with him, Jean, and Lisa. It was out of the blue and Adelinde practically shoved him out the house when Kaeya offered. She knew Diluc needed a week off, and knew he wouldn’t give himself time off. They had a nice hotel and seperate beds. They were doing all the sight-seeing and traveling around the city, using automobiles, which were confusing and scared Diluc.
Kaeya told him they were just going out to dinner, but one thing after another and they ended up outside of a mansion, blaring with music with so many- too many people.
“This looks like a blast.” Of course he would say that, he’s a people person. Diluc hated events like this. Lisa agreed with Kaeya, whereas Jean would just follow her. Kaeya grabbed Diluc’s wrist started walking to the entrance. He was practically dragging Diluc in along with Lisa while Jean followed cautiously. There were a lot of people outside, so Diluc couldn’t begin to imagine how many people were inside. People were passed out on the grass or drunkenly making out with one another.
Diluc couldn’t even hear his thoughts because of the music. It was loud and hot, already beginning to sweat as he walked in. He tucked his vision into his pocket to make sure it was secure. Jean was as shocked as Diluc was, while Lisa already got herself a drink. Kaeya chuckled and started to follow Lisa, and Diluc quickly followed him.
“Hey- Kaeya, wait!” He shouted, squeezing through the crowd. He made a desperate attempt to stay with his brother, following the head of blue hair he knew all too well.
Then Kaeya vanished and Diluc couldn’t find him. He froze where he was, looking around frantically.
Panic began to set in, and he just wanted to go home. But he couldn’t leave Kaeya. It was hot, and Diluc felt his mouth becoming dry, so he found a kitchen to get water.
He knew he couldn’t drink the tap water in Fonatine, it was practically poison, so he had to find something that wasn’t just straight alcohol. A punch or wine would work. He found a bottle of wine from Dawn Winery, so he poured a little bit of it before putting it away. It wouldn’t take him half a glass to get tipsy, he wasn’t that intolerant.
He didn’t notice the two girls that were eyeing him. He should’ve, but of course he didn’t. His bright red hair stuck out in Fontaine, where everything was blue and grey. He got a lot of looks which he didn’t mind. They whispered to each other and stopped when he walked by them.
Diluc slipped out of the kitchen and began to look around, but when he took his eyes off his small amount of wine for one second, he didn’t see that one of the girls had slipped something in his drink.
It wasn’t long before whatever that put in his drink kicked in. He felt it when his limbs started to get heavy, when was harder to focus, and when the periods of darkness when he blinked became longer. He quickly rushed upstairs and found a bedroom, before hiding in the closet. He had left his shoe outside the door, hoping someone he knew would find him. Something was wrong, his world starting to spin and his limbs becoming limp. Diluc needed to find Kaeya, but at this point he had given up finding his brother. He just needed to wait till the drug wore off and made sure no one bothered him-
The door creaked open and his heart dropped.
“Is he here?”
“I saw him walk in here, Jay, of course he’s here.”
“Ugh, if he’s not, this was a waste of our time, Em.”
The closet door opened and he saw two women standing there. They both only had small tank tops on and skirts that left nothing to the imagination, and they smirked.
“I told you!” One shouted at the other. They dragged him out of the closet and onto the bed. He squirmed and tried to protest, managing a frustrated groan.
Diluc was scared. He wasn’t normally scared. They were quick to search his pockets and find his wallet, taking his mora and ID’s. One of the girls with brown hair tied back into a ponytail with red lipstick on, sat on his lap, and Diluc tried to squirm away but he could barely move. Her neck was so small. He could easily reach up and break it to get out of this situation, but his arms failed him and he could only barely raise his hand. She examined his ID, humming and tilting her head.
“Die-luc Rag-vine-deer?” She said, butchering his name. The brunette had an accent, along with hazel eyes and freckles, her skin tone the same as Kaeya’s. He would learn every detail about her face so when he wasn’t drugged, he could find her and kill her, or turn her in. Whichever was easiest or came first. The blonde one raised her head,
“Oh, aren’t you, like, really fucking rich? Like from Mondstat? What are you doing at some random party in Fontaine?” The blonde asked. She had blue eyes, a blue streak in her hair with purple lipstick on.
Diluc blinked hard as his vision started to blur, trying to tell them he was with his brother, and that he would find them and kill them, but all that came out was, “My- my..brother..”
They laughed and the brunette on his lap moved closer to his face, “Y’know, maybe, if you give us some more money you won’t do what you think we’re gonna do..” She said into his ear, and his eyes widened.
“..Watch..” He glanced at his wrist, and they were quick to take off his watch he had just gotten as a gift from Elzer. Thankfully, he left his necklace at home, that one he wouldn’t give up in a million years, the one from Father.
“Hmm, I don’t know, Red, this doesn’t look very expensive.” The blonde said, and the brunette hummed, “Maybe his shirt is expensive, let’s get that off.” She said, and Diluc only let out a whimper as a protest.
They took off his shirt, which was silk, and hummed. “Anything else? This might not be enough to.. satisfy us.” Her hands were on his pectorals and the blonde’s ran along his stomach. He hated the feeling. He shivered and squeezed his eyes shut.
Diluc wanted to cry. He shook his head, breathing hard, “..lease..” He managed out, and the brunette snickered. “Begging for it, I see?” He shook his head no again. He managed enough strength to try and slap her, but he could only shove her lightly with one hand.
“Aw, trying to put up a fight I see. It’s not working you rich bastard, and I’m not satisfied. So, you better stop fucking moving.” He shuddered and the blonde unzipped his fly and his breath caught in his throat.
He tried to struggle. He really tried. But, he couldn’t even move as they pulled down his pants and his boxers, or as the brunette kissed him, getting red lipstick smeared all over his face. The other dipped her head down to his crotch, then seated herself on him and he began to cry. The brunette moved to kiss his neck and he shut his eyes.
“He’s crying like a bitch, Em.” Diluc wanted to scream. This was awful. Everything about this was horrid. He just wanted them away. He prayed to Barbados that they stopped, and he didn’t pray. He knew there was a god, but after Father’s death, he didn’t pray to him anymore.
The brunette cupped his face and began to make out with him, and he had lost all strength to move. He tried to bite down when she slipped her tongue in his mouth, but he couldn’t. He kept crying.
At some point, all he could hear was static, and he couldn’t feel or see anything. It was all blurry. She let go of his face and his head fell limp and turned to the side. He studied bedsheets, trying to distract himself from what was happening. He could hear the sound of the bed creaking as one of the girls rocked back and forth. But it eventually stopped, and he felt people putting his pants back on quickly. Then people were shouting.
He could feel someone grabbing his face but he couldn’t tell who it was. Someone was talking to him, and he just kept crying, now harder. He just wanted people to stop touching him.
Someone picked him up and he couldn’t fight back. He was so tired. His head rolled over their arm and he passed out.
—
Kaeya had been looking all over the place for Diluc.
He had found Lisa and Jean, who said they hadn’t seen him. Lisa had seen him heading toward the other side of the house, but couldn’t move to get him because there were too many people.
Jean went on the third floor, and Kaeya checked the second floor while Lisa stayed on the ground floor looking for him. Kaeya was checking every room and closet, not caring when he opened the door on people fucking.
Then he found a door was locked. He struggled with it, and heard two girls talking.
“Hey, go away you perv!” One shouted. Usually, he would, but he had a bad feeling in his gut about it. Especially since he saw Diluc’s shoe right outside the door. He looked through the crack in the doorway and saw Diluc’s face turned away, and he had no shirt on. When one began to kiss him, he snapped
“Jean! Lisa! Get over here!” He shouted, and then he struggled with the door again. He froze the handle to break it off, kicking the door open. The two girls screamed, and one tried to punch him, but he grabbed her wrist and knocked her out. The other one ran out the door, but was shoved back inside by Jean. Jean proceeded to knock her unconscious as well.
Kaeya rushed over to his brother, who was shirtless and his pants had been messily been put back on. His face was covered with smeared lipstick, along with his neck. He was crying, and Kaeya realizes this is only the third time he has seen Diluc cry.
“Diluc? Diluc, can you hear me?” He shouted, with no reply. Kaeya cupped his face, His brother kept sobbing, but didn’t move. He couldn’t.
Kaeya picked him up, while Lisa collected all of his items they had tried to steal.
Jean and Lisa took the girls to the police while Kaeya took Diluc back to the hotel. He had stopped crying awhile ago and fallen unconscious.
Kaeya wiped off his face and neck, putting new clothes on and putting him in his bed. He put water by his bedside and went to the kitchen to make him an egg. When he came back, Diluc was sat up and rubbing his eyes. Kaeya put the plate down and placed a hand on his shoulder, and Diluc was quick to slap off his hand of him. He shrunk away from Kaeya, breathing hard.
“Don’t- Don’t fucking touch me, you-“
He paused seeing Kaeya standing next to him, and then broke down sobbing. “Kae-“ He cried, and then Kaeya hugged his brother, letting him cry into his shoulder.
“They kept- they wouldn’t stop touching me- I couldn’t move- I-“ Diluc couldn’t get the words out and cried harder. Kaeya squeezed his brother, rocking back and forth.
“I’m sorry. It’s going to be okay.” He said, glancing up when he heard the door open and Jean and Lisa were standing there. Diluc looked so small, his presence not intimidating or commanding as it always was. Jean and Lisa left the two, not wanting to intrude.
Diluc pulled away to wipe off his face, “I’m- I’m humiliated- That was humiliating-“ He sobbed, running his hands through his hair. Kaeya was quick to grab his hands. “It’s not your fault, Diluc. Don’t blame yourself. You couldn’t fight back.” He told his older brother, who cried harder.
“I’m sorry I made you go in there, I had no idea this would happen, Luc. I’m- I’m so sorry.” Kaeya said, and Diluc just broke down crying again, “I just want to go home- and- and see mom-“ He cried, and Kaeya nodded, “Okay, first thing when we get up tomorrow, Lisa and I will get a train to take us out of the city and then get a carriage to Mondstat. Does that sound ok?” Kaeya told him, and Diluc nodded.
“Can you stay in here tonight, please? Or- Or Jean? I just.. don’t want to be alone.”
Kaeya nodded and kicked off his shoes and slipped on his sleep clothes. He had already changed Diluc into more comfortable clothing, so he just waited for his brother. His face was red and eyes were puffy from crying. Kaeya laid next to him, holding his hand. Diluc curled up next to him, slowly falling asleep. Kaeya wrapped his arms around his brother, holding him close. He wouldn’t let this happen to him ever again.
