"You know Jamie, you're a sweet dog 'n all. But you have to STOP pulling me" Tommy sighed as he pulls Jamie back for the third time in the 10 minute walk.
As Tommy got a familiar house, he knocked. A woman answered, looking frantically around- like something was after her- but that's wasn't Tommy's problem, " Hi Miss, I'm hear to collect Tucker for his daily walk."
" oh, yes sorry dear." she gathered Tucker's leash and practically threw it at him " take your time today love, I'll be really busy for the next" she glaced at the clock in her hallway " 3 to um 7 hours" slamming the door.
Tommy stud there lost for a few seconds before carrying his Tuesday routine, collecting the rest of the dog ( there were six of them) "that woman was so rude wasn't she Tucker, oh yes she was, well as much as I love talking to you Tucker it seems Jamie wants to carry this walk on."
The street lamps were now on, Tommy had already dropped off the other five dogs just leaving him and Tucker left " it's quite cold now isn't it Tucker, time to bring you home."
Screams, Tucker's owner. Was she okay, did she fall, did she- the possibilities were endless
Knock. Knock
The door opens slowly, the screams were over now. Tommy walks in, the lights seem to not work. Maybe she hurt herself in the dark. An outline of a tall man could be seen and next to him, a limp body with a liquid spilling out of it.
"she should've learnt her lesson by now if not, if she wakes up her newborn is next" The monotone voice echoed through the house.
"WOOF WOOF" Tucker charged at him, Tommy pulled back in time. He can feel someone's breath rundown his neck, hairs standing up, goosebumps starting to form.
" You weren't meant to be here," A more soothing voice sang.
" Yeh well, um I have her dog."
" forget all about this and return home." the soothing voice commanded.
