Harry Potter sat at the edge of the Astronomy Tower, staring out at the stars. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing from his life. He had defeated Voldemort, but he still felt empty inside.
As he sat there, lost in thought, he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"Potter," Draco Malfoy drawled. "What are you doing up here?"
Harry turned to see the Slytherin leaning against the wall, looking as aloof as ever.
"Just thinking," Harry replied.
Draco raised an eyebrow. "About what?"
Harry hesitated for a moment, then decided to take a chance. "About how I feel like something's missing from my life."
Draco looked surprised for a moment, then his expression softened. "I know how you feel," he said quietly.
Harry was taken aback. He had never heard Draco speak like that before.
"I've been feeling the same way," Draco continued. "Ever since the war ended, I've been trying to figure out what I want from my life."
Harry nodded, understanding completely. "Me too."
They sat in silence for a few minutes, both lost in thought. Then, Draco spoke again.
"Potter," he said, turning to look at Harry. "I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that I want you in mine."
Harry's heart skipped a beat. He had never expected Draco to say something like that.
"I feel the same way," Harry said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Draco smiled, and it was the most genuine smile Harry had ever seen on him.
"Then let's figure it out together," Draco said, moving closer to Harry.
Their lips met in a soft, tentative kiss, and Harry felt a rush of emotion flood through him. It was like everything he had been missing was suddenly found.
They broke apart, and Harry couldn't help but smile. He had never felt happier.
Draco leaned his forehead against Harry's. "I don't care what anyone else thinks," he said. "I want to be with you."
Harry wrapped his arms around Draco, holding him close. "I want that too."
They stayed up on the Astronomy Tower for hours, talking and laughing and just enjoying each other's company. And as they lay there, watching the stars, Harry knew that he had found what he had been missing all along.
