Courtney sat against the tree tapping her foot on the ground. "Ugh, it's midnight she agreed to meet up here. I swear if she bailed on ME, she has a lot coming for her..." Courtney growled. foot tapping more on the ground the with the wind breaking through the woods giving a chill to Courtneys spine, trees swaying a few branches lowering a bit from the weight of a bat watching Courtney.
"That's it I'm leaving! I can't believe her nerve to make me come out here!" Courtney yiped as the vampire formed Infront of her "Awe, that's no way to treat a friend Courtney hm?" Courtneys face of fear of what she just got scared of quickly became angry. "Where were you?! Gwen, you agreed right here!" Gwen looks back at her those onyx eyes pouring into her ruby ones "Who said I wasn't here?" Gwen snarked 'The nerve!' Courtney thought as she began chewing out the ruby eyed vampire, "Well if you were even there where were you?!" Gwen looked back with the most monotone voice ever "check the tree you mutt." Courtney saw red she was so angry over this stupid human mosquito she just couldn't.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Courtney almost bit Gwen's hand to get the vampire off of her before she heard movements within the forest. "Ever heard of being quite before? I'll move my hand, but you must chew me out quietly." Courtney was just so over this bloody suckers bullshit she just complied. But rather than chewing Gwen out she decided to listen for whatever was trying to spy on them.
"It was a rabbit." Gwen grumbled hoping it was human to scare or possible meal she could have. the werewolf looks at her as if it was a bad thing. "It's better than a human knowing we exist right?" Courtney looks at Gwen like she was crazy if she wanted it to be a human. "I guess but I don't know what I want other than starving lately a lot of the humans have been avoiding my lonesome mansion..." It was like Gwen could read Courtney like a book. Courtney's face softened forgetting she was mad at the vampire. "How long has it been since you have eaten Gwen?.." Gwen looked away from the werewolf like she was embarrassed for herself. "Three weeks..." Gwen managed to choke out in a low voice. "Gwen I...."
Courtney trying to think of solutions to Gwen's problem. "Before crazy ideas start go through your head I can survive for a while without eating just get weaker so it's fine"
Courtney worries even more "No! It's not fine! what if hunters trying to kill you in your weak state! or., you get in trouble and can't defend yourself!" Courtney's eyes prickled with tears some escaping her eyes, Gwen took notice at Courtney crying and held her face swiping her tears. "Hey... It's going to be ok Court; I'll think of something..." Gwen had no ideas really but that doesn't matter right now. Courtney hugged Gwen inhaling her calming sent, lavender and vanilla. "I can't lose you Gwen not after what they did to Duncan..." tears spilling out her eyes even more, makeup running onto Gwen's puffy undershirt trapped by her corset. "No one. and I mean No One. Is going to take me I swear." Courtney's hands scrunching up Gwen's well ironed undershirt. "Just please let me help you or something... can you feed from werewolves I don't know personally..." Courtney's word's muffled due her burying herself in Gwen's shirt inhaling her sent even more as if it was grounding Courtney. "Courtney I can't ask of that! what if I take too much... I just can't allow it! It's crazy!" Courtney looking up at Gwen from her hiding. "Then let it be crazy! I can't lose you Gwen even if it takes me to my funeral!" Gwen's eye soften as she looked in Courtney's eyes from any signs of lying, but as those onyx eyes stare into her ruby ones all she saw was determination to keep her friend alive. "Courtney I-"
Gwen was cut off with Courtney's lips on hers, she would be lying if she wasn't pinning for the werewolf but this, was just out of character for Courtney but yet she kissed back. "Thought that would shut up..." Gwen for once was speechless the only she teased the werewolf was to keep her from falling even more for her but seems that was, inevitable. Courtney pulls Gwen down to the ground with her. "Before you start yapping you head off about how you can't do this. I got what I wanted from you. I know death bed confessions hurt but I can't keep denying the truth from you..." Gwen sat quietly confused before Courtney started up again. "I loved you since Duncan introduced me to you, yes it was wrong to like you when I was with him, but I thought you hated me as to you were so mean and snarky, but that only made me love you more. I don't expect for you to return these feelings, but I can't lie to you any longer. I just love you."
Gwen was speechless "Courtney... I... I love you too have for a while..." Courtney looked into Gwen's ruby eyes "Ehe, well I guess we should get this over with" Gwen's lip grazed Courtney's. tears in her eyes threatening to fall. Courtney's eyes closed waiting for those sharp teeth to graze her skin like in her dreams but this wasn't any dream. Teeth meeting skin, blood running out Courtney kept her eyes closed her hand farthest from Gwen clawing at the dirty trying not to hurt Gwen slowly becoming lightheaded, 'this is it huh?' Courtney thought. Gwen noticing Courtney can't give anymore she stopped to feel her pulse. still there beating those onyx eyes fluttering open looking in those ruby ones she adored so much. she smiled, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to take so much-" she was cut off by Courtney kissing her again her blood still on Gwen's lips, but she couldn't care any less.
