Chapter Text
It is common knowledge that life does not treat anyone the same. To one, life is wonderful. It is filled with exciting opportunities that they take every time, but to another, it is full of perpetual agony. Yet, the idea of pessimism and optimism has overshadowed these perceptions. The first would think its life is horrible, that there was nothing more to life to do, or that it’s too repetitious. To the other, they trick themselves into thinking that it has its life easy compared to others that “have it worse.”
Heaven forbid they ever meet. They would either argue endlessly with each other, saying that the other is suffering more, or they would agree with the idea that life was awful for both of them, participating in futile actions in hopes that they could change their circumstances.
Such is the tale of two Cookie siblings.
One of the two was an anxious yet ambitious Cookie named Swirl Pop. His dough was finely baked, and he donned a long purple coat with a blue shirt and gray pants underneath. His hair was in strips of turquoise from the top, which faded into pink at his tips. For his shoes, it was nothing but a simple black. His eyes were of a light blue, which did not distract often from the odd raspberry-colored diamond markings which were on his cheeks. Swirl Pop Cookie often found himself in the ideology of magic, and he was quite fascinated with it, studying it with what little books the librarian who knew him well gave him, despite it being banned from the town they lived in.
The other Cookie, named Dew Pop, was of a more composed posture, at least to the outside world. This Cookie donned a pink fluffy scarf with a turquoise bow in the middle, which went along with the dark pink colored cardigan as it covered her mauve leggings and heather colored blouse. A set of pearl bracelets were on each of her wrists, and she wore charcoal-colored boots. Her hair seemed to be similar to her brothers, yet it was pink at the top and faded into a turquoise color at the ends of her low pigtails. Dew Pop found herself working tirelessly at a factory which dealt with all sorts of ribbons.
Despite these differences, Dew Pop Cookie and Swirl Pop Cookie were good siblings. They weren’t always good siblings however, as this story would reveal through the twisted secrets that are born from one of the cookie siblings, for better or for worse.
