"You can't tell them about it!" Natsu grumbled as he sat at a back table with Wendy and Gajeel. Luckily the guild hall was loud enough that no one could really hear them it wasn't like they could understand them anyways. "Oh, come on Natsu-Nii. It isn't that bad. Besides shouldn't you at least tell Gray? He is your mate after all." Wendy said trying to reason with her fellow dragon slayer. Natsu immediately shook his head. "What is the problem anyways?" Gajeel asked curiously. "Natsu-Nii accidentally got hit with a spell similar to arc of time. So now his Draconic accent is starting to show a bit and he is embarrassed about it." Wendy explained. "It's embarrassing!" Natsu whined.
"Oh come on Salamander. It can't be that bad." Gajeel stated. "You and I both know it's that bad. I've always had a thicker accent than you when we were kids." Natsu argued. Gajeel shrugged a bit in agreement before he looked at Wendy. "I might have to agree with Natsu on this one." Gajeel stated. "Thank you!" Natsu slightly shouted. Gajeel slightly rolled his eyes before standing up. "Anyways, I have a mission that I need to go on with Lily. Let me know how that confession of yours goes Salamander." Gajeel stated before he walked away.
Natsu whined a little placing his head down on the table. Wendy looked at him sympathetically "It'll be okay Natsu." she said. "I hope you're right." he muttered as the accent was completely coming through.

Gray walked into the guildhall and greeting Mira letting her know that she had completed her quest. The ice mage scanned the guild looking for his dragon slayer, but he didn't seem to be in the building. He walked over to the team table finding Wendy, Erza, and Lucy. "Have any of you seen Natsu?" Gray asked. "Yeah, he left about an hour or two ago. He told Wendy that he wasn't feeling well and was going to head home. I find it a little suspicious that he didn't tell all of us, but I'll get an explanation out of him tomorrow." Erza stated.
Gray nods before turning around and heading back towards the main doors and leaves the guildhall to head back to his apartment.
Quietly the ice mage walked into the apartment looking around. "Natsu? Are you here?" he called out. He heard a whine come from the couch, he set his bag down and walked over then sat down in front of Natsu. "Are you okay? Gray asked. Natsu whined again before nodding. Gray leans back a little "Come on, tell me what's wrong." he said. "It's nothing serious it's just embarrassing." Natsu mumbled.
Gray sighed a little before smiling. "You had me worried you fire-breather. Now what is so embarrassing you told Wendy to tell Erza and Lucy that you weren't feeling well?" Gray asked. "It's embarrassing." Natsu whispered. "Does it have something to do with why you sound a little different?" Gray asked. The look on the dragon slayer's face confirmed his question before Natsu had answered him.
Gray placed a hand on Natsu's head running his fingers through his hair. "Come on pyro. Tell me what's going on." Gray pleaded.
Natsu whined before turning his head to completely face him. "I was on a mission with Happy it probably more suited for Lucy or Levy, but it needed to help search for a missing spell book. Well come to find out, someone's kid got their hands on it and there was a spell similar to Ultear's arc of time magic and well I got him with that spell, so it reverted my Fioriean accent back to my Draconic one." Natsu explained, the accent was a lot heavier now that he was speaking in his normal tone.
"That's all this is about?" Gray asked with a gentle but amused smiled. "What do you mean that's it?!" Natsu asked.
"It's nothing like that pyro so don't take it that way. All I'm saying is that your accent is great, and, in my opinion, it suits you way better. It's nothing to be embarrassed about." Gray smiled. "You think so?" Natsu asked cautiously.
Gray smiled and ruffled his hair. "You dragon slayers can be so dramatic." he laughed.
