It’s a hot day in Alabasta and Princess Vivi sits in the bright, burning sunlight. Her face has a gentle smile and kind gaze.
I miss them. I wonder when they’ll visit me. Vivi thinks to herself. Hopefully, it’ll be someday soon.
Vivi sighs then turns to Karoo with a big bright smile. “Let’s go. We have an appointment to be at!”
Karoo quacks nervously and Vivi gets on him. The two ride off towards a small building in the marketplace. Vivi walks into the building and talks to the shopkeep.
“Are you sure about this, Princess?” The shopkeep asks hesitantly.
“Yes! I am!”
“Alright then. Micha is ready for your appointment, Princess.”

Vivi walks into the palace with a huge smile on her face. She has done it. Not a person in this world could convince her to undo what she’s done. Vivi strolls up to Igaram and her father, Cobra.
“Father! Igaram! I have a surprise!” Vivi exclaims excitedly.
“Ma ma ma! What is the surprise Vivi-sama?” Igaram smiles warmly.
“Look!” Vivi pulls up her sleeve, revealing a tattoo of a blue “X” on her arm.
Igaram and Cobra freeze with eyes wide. Igaram bursts into tears mumbling something about “that damn tattooed up pirate girl”. Cobra’s thoughts are swimming around in his mind like angry piranhas.
“Thai tattoo is meant to symbolize my friendship with the straw hats.” Vivi gently gazes at the tattoo. “It makes me happy.”
Igaram and Cobra stop their melodramatics and look at Vivi.
“I guess it is a nice tattoo, as it has great meaning for you.” Cobra smiles at his daughter, he puts a hand on her shoulder. “Even though I don’t like the idea of you having a tattoo, I’m glad that this tattoo has meaning and makes you happy.”
“I agree with the King. Ma ma ma.” Igaram smiles at Vivi. I’m glad she’s found such great friends.
“I’m thinking about other tattoos I can get! Would you like to see the designs I have?” Vivi excitedly pulls a sketchbook out of her satchel.
“What?!” Igaram and Cobra exclaim.
