Chapter Text
VISUALS OF THE CHARACTERS:
Gomer: A 9 foot tall, smokey cinnamon bear that wears a white collar and a blue bowtie. He’s the jamboree’s pianist and Henry’s right-hand man.
Trixie: A 6 foot tall, kermode bear that wears a blue bow on her head, and a blue tutu on her waist and is very chubby. She’s one of many vocalists of the jamboree.
On a day where the bears didn’t have to perform, Gomer rested in his room. He laid on his back, looking up at the ceiling, with thoughts fluttering around in his head. As the bear rubbed his belly, it left him in awe about how far, and fast, his days of being pregnant had gone by.
It only seemed like yesterday that he was ralphing in the mornings and cramping in the evenings. But now, this was the home-stretch. And it left him pondering.
As Gomer began to space out, he imagined himself embracing his cubs on an open morning field, hearing their laughter and feeling the breeze through his fur, and it didn’t take too long for him to doze off in this simple dream of his.
After an hour or so of napping, several kicks from his belly and a knock on his door wake Gomer up. He rubbed his head, grumbling at the sensation of waking up. After a few seconds of processing everything, he gets up and opens the door. It was Trixie!
She looks up to Gomer with the usual expression that she has: A soft, but concerned one. “Hey Gomer, you feelin’ okay?”, She says, holding her hands together. A nod comes from the other bear as he sighs, smiling down at Trixie. For a while, Trixie seemed on and off on monitoring Gomer. He was put on paternity leave and can barely reach his own piano anymore.
Trixie is then invited into Gomer’s room where she brings in some tea that she had made earlier (the tea in question is white tea).
