Chapter Text

Fukami and Samekichi were sleeping soundly, a thunderstorm going on outside that night

 Samekichi's eye shot open, a flash of lightning woke him up, it had seemed far too close to the house, and it had scared the poor shark, he started trembling and whimpering in fear 'this is it, i'm gonna die, goodbye blue sea...' he thought fearfully

Fukami mumbled tiredly before stretching a bit, Samekichi's whimpering had woken up the octopus, "Samekichi..?" he mumbled more, eyes half open "what's wrong... why're you whimpering and crying so much... what happened?" he waited for a response before doing anything too sudden 

Samekichi turned over and hugged Fukami tightly, burying his face in the octopi's chest "l-lightning! and..." he froze to cry for a few moments "i'm gonna die!!" he sobbed, hugging the octopus a bit tighter "don't let it kill me... please!!" his sobbing got louder and he just waited for Fukami to speak comforting words to him, along with make comforting actions aswell, he honestly needed it right now

Fukami sighed, wrapping his tentacles around Samekichi, pulling the shark closer to himself, then wrapping his arms around Samekichi "shh... it's alright... i won't let it hurt you..." he assured calmly, humming slightly to help calm the shark down 

Samekichi continued sobbing though, trembling in the octopi's arms, mumbling nonsense through his sobs, maybe the sea of death scarred him like this, who knows

Fukami spoke comforting words to the shark boy, gently making the other look at him before pressing his lips to Samekichi's, waiting for a reaction from the other

Samekichi's eye widened in surprise, this was honestly the first time Fukami bothered with kissing him... He slowly calmed down a bit, enough to kiss back atleast, he hesitantly draped an arm over Fukami's shoulder, enjoying this moment while it was lasting

Fukami was enjoying this moment aswell, smiling faintly into the kiss he had started... he was also kind of proud that he managed to calm the shark that was sobbing a few moments before

Chapter Text

Samekichi pulled away after a few moments, not wanting to initiate anything too sexual, he grumbling something that oddly sounded like "i cant believe i let you see me in such a weak state" before snuggling closer to the octopus

Fukami smiled at this, chuckling tiredly before yawning "how about you forget about that and go to sleep... grumpy gills" 

Samekichi growled but it got cut off by a yawn "fine..." he closed his eye, grumbling angrily

"calm down would you... everythings okay now... time for sleep... so stop grumbling and growling would you..." Fukami mumbled, yawning again before closing his eyes and practically passing out after about ten minutes

Samekichi was awake for an hour after that, but eventually became too tired and slowly drifted off to sleep aswell, smiling faintly in his sleep
