Notes:

Just something short and sweet to get into the groove of things. Also, this has been in my draft since last year September so yeah. Hope ya'll enjoy

Work Text:

“She’s your problem now.”

Momo could only sigh as she watched the way Nayeon was clinging for dear life to their manager, looking completely plastered. “How much did she drink?”

“Two!” Nayeon held up three fingers, entirely proud of her accomplishment.

“More than that actually,” the manager corrected her, still holding onto Nayeon or else she would slip down. “At one time Chaeyoung accidentally gave her one without the tonic water.”

Momo could only shake her head, smiling at the mental image of Nayeon probably screaming when she drank the tonic-less drink. “At least she managed to finish more than one.”

“Are you proud of me?” Nayeon asked, batting her eyelashes at Momo.

Momo patted her on the head. “Yes, I am.” That prompted the giddiest smile she had ever seen on Nayeon. At that moment too she had a handful of Nayeon clinging onto her and snuggling into her neck, knocking the wind out of her.

“Good luck.” And with that the manager immediately scurried off towards the exit, knowing in her heart of hearts that Momo could handle a drunk Nayeon by herself. The only one really.

Momo struggled a bit to close the door, but she managed to do it by using her foot, despite having a koala-sized human clinging to her. “Nayeon don’t sleep on me now, I know you can still walk.”

“Carry me?”

“Not tonight, I’m a little tired,” Momo said apologetically, she was a little tired after today’s grueling schedule.

Nayeon pouted but she complied and stood on her own. They stumbled a little while walking toward the bathroom, but it wasn’t as bad because Momo can hold Nayeon up easily, she was used to it. She took a chair in the corner and seated Nayeon down on it, rummaging through their extensive makeup collection for a remover. All the while Nayeon had seemed to calm down and was humming their latest song.

She was exceptionally cute in Momo’s eyes.

“Alright, look up at me,” Momo murmured gently, and she could feel her cheeks heat up with how intense Nayeon was looking at her. She ignored the urge to divert her gaze and went about the cleaning process. Despite being girlfriends Momo was still a little shy when Nayeon would pay attention to her.

“Momo.”

Momo hummed, focusing on a spot underneath Nayeon’s lips.

“Kiss?”

If Momo wasn’t close enough, she would’ve missed it. But because she liked teasing Nayeon, she hummed questioningly. “What was that?”

Nayeon must’ve realized she was trying to tease her, so she pouted and repeated her request again. “Kiss.”

“Can’t form sentences now?” Suddenly she felt arms encircled around her waist, pulling her down. She couldn’t keep her balance and fell right into Nayeon’s lap. “Unnie!” Momo exclaimed, startling them both.

Nayeon had the decency to look sheepish. “Sorry.”

Momo sighed, starting the cleaning process again. “We’ll kiss when you’re not drunk.”

“I’m not drunk.”

Momo just quirked an eyebrow.

“Maybe.”

“Doesn’t sound convincing.”  Nayeon whined and it almost broke her resolve, almost. “Let me clean you up first. You also need to brush your teeth or else you’re going to complain tomorrow.” And she would, Momo had learned, on top of the hangover Nayeon would be extra irritated with everything going on around her including herself. She could feel hands brushing her back, trying to get into her pajamas. “Nayeon unnie.”

“Just warming my hands.”

“Sure, you are.”

Nayeon just smiled brightly, and Momo couldn’t help but smile back because of how cute the older girl was. With the last swipe she hoisted herself up prompting a whine out of Nayeon but she only shushed her. “Wash your face and brush your teeth. You know how to do that right?” Sometimes the only way to make Nayeon comply is to challenge her and this method had done wonders when she was particularly stubborn or drunk.

Nayeon harumphed. “I know how, I’m not a baby.”

“Good, go on now.” Before Momo could head out of the bathroom, she felt a hand holding onto her wrist.

“Kiss later?”

Momo’s heart melted at the request, and she could only sigh. “Kiss later.”

It took a while for Nayeon to be done and it took a whole lot of self-restraint for Momo to not just bust back into the bathroom.  But after seeing her goofy smile as she walked into the room, she couldn’t help but mirror back. She welcomed her girlfriend with open arms and Nayeon didn’t hesitate to dive into it, snuggling into her neck.

“Took you a while,” Momo teased.

“No thanks to you,” Nayeon retorted.

“Hey! I helped with the makeup.”

“Okay fine, you helped a little.”

Momo could only chuckle. She moved down a little so she could be face-to-face with Nayeon. When they were at the same level, Momo reached out and began rubbing Nayeon’s cheek with her thumb, staring into sleepy eyes.

“If you keep that up, I might fall asleep.”

“That’s the plan. I know you’re tired.”

Nayeon yawned and then sighed, her eyes clearly heavy as she kept blinking. “Kiss,” she murmured.

“Still want to kiss?”

“You promised.”

Momo wanted to tease some more that she didn’t really promise but seeing the longing in Nayeon’s eyes made her pause. She stopped rubbing Nayeon’s cheek and closed the distance.

She can never get tired of kissing Nayeon. Her lips were made for her she believed, with the way they slotted perfectly against one another. The little sighs and moans were getting her worked up, so she tried to pull back only to have Nayeon biting her bottom lips and pulling it. She couldn’t help but moan and felt Nayeon smiling against her lips.

“Too much?” Nayeon asked, pulling back just a little, her breath hitting her lips with every exhale.

“You need to sleep,” Momo sighed. Nayeon giggled and the action bounced her too because they were so entangled with one another. She couldn’t help but giggle along because of how giddy she was feeling.

“Fine, I’ll sleep.” Nayeon closed her eyes, but she was still smiling.

Momo just shook her head in amusement. “Goodnight, Nayeon.”

“Goodnight, Momo."
