lustful hate

Summary:

It was one night that started it all.

Work Text:

Everything was blurry and warm .

She couldn't fathom any other thought, just that night.

That night , that moment of hot kisses burning down her throat, of lips smashing together, of bodies colliding with each other, connecting , being one instead of two.

But nothing could last for too long because in that instant she felt the cool air on her skin, and then his breath—hot against her neck.

She gasped as he took a step back from her. "Kiara?" He asked looking confused around the room . "What? she asked clueless, What's wrong?"

He quickly walked up to her side and looked into her eyes; but when he didn't answer her right away she frowned in confusion. He didn't look at her but instead stood there looking lost, speechless as he stared at her.

"Nothing," was all he said.

Before she had time to question him further, she felt his lips again—not kissing her but saying something else. It felt like he wasn't talking to her, but it still sounded like words.

And that is when the spell broke and Kiara found her shelf gasping for breath in her bedroom.

The sun has yet to rise when Rafe finally makes it out of bed, after tossing and turning for what feels like hours now.

He can't believe this was just a dream. He shouldn't be here, he should be curled besides, with her arms around his torso and his head atop of hers, with curlrs spread all over their shared pillow.

A sick feeling came to him, despite his lusty arousal the night before, an ache grew deep within him as the very thing that should have been for real began to dwindle away in his mind. He ran a hand through his hair.

He couldn't get the sound of her voice out of his ears, the way her body moved under his own. And how she so easily let him kiss her, so willingly giving herself up to him.

Rafe closes his eyes and fights the urge to touch himself in such a filthy way , imaging her curves as her sweet and tight pussy sucks his cock all the way up in places no one had ever eve thought about and just...stop.

No more, he tells himself. I will never do that again. He deserves better than that.

That isn't all he thinks about though, there is so much more to it than just physical pleasure. He remembers seeing her in the living room, sitting at the end of the couch, so tall and so strong as she watched him with those dark intense eyes. She gave off so much confidence in herself as she sat there staring at him, never once breaking eye contact or taking a breath, not even blinking. It was like she knew him, or perhaps had known him, which made him feel incredibly insecure. And yet at the same time there was something oddly familiar about her, and she made him feel both so insecure and aroused in equal amounts.

His dick twitched beneath the thin fabric of his boxers, wishing that his jeans weren't so restrictive.

If it was possible, he'd want her to come downstairs, for him to sit beside her on the couch and talk to her. Yet he knew that wasn't possible. She probably would hate the idea.

He doesn't know why it bothers him so much, he thinks maybe because he was happy to see her laugh yesterday, hear her speak. He has never be the one to make her laugh like this or even ever made her laugh. For some reason he wants to fill that void, he doesn't know why.

Whatever the case, he needs to stop thinking about her. It isn't going to work, and if anything, it'll only drive him insane and make things worse.

It was only a mere memory. A slight, and vague one at best. Nothing he wants to relive. No reason to waste his precious time thinking about her. Thinking of her in his thoughts will just make his head hurt .

This he knows.

This must all end today. The sooner the better. So, with that in mind, he gets dressed and heads downstairs.

The kitchen is empty, but the door to the basement is open. He takes a deep breath and goes on with his day.

His hands tremble slightly as he sets a plate of breakfast next to the sink. His nerves are getting the best of him lately. Things seem to always turn out well in books, yet they seem to never go smoothly in life.
