Gina was reading a book at the dining table after lunch. At some point In her reading, she felt like she was being watched. Turning her head around, she notices her boyfriend standing at the door, eyes glued to her. She frowns...
"What??" she asks, confused.
EJ, coming back from his trance "What do you mean??"
His answer doesn't help solving her confusion AT ALL, so she explains: "You can't take your eyes from me... do I have something on my face??"
He grins, and comes closer, just to whisper In her ear: "Just a blinding smile and hypnotizing brown eyes"
She trembles, blood red: "ELIJAH!!"
He acts naturally, as If he hasn't just turned his girlfriend's heart Into a drumming band, and asks tenderly: "Yes, Regina?"
She rolls her eyes, faux annoyed: "You know damn well what you do to me everytime you talk like that"
He grins, mischievous: "That, I do"
She pouts: "So, what's the fun In doing It anyway??"
Still grinning, he answers: "I just love turning you upside down"
She decides that If he can torture her that much, only fair If she returns the favor, and grins back: "You're just tryna find an excuse to see me In a bathing suit, aren't you, Elijah?? I know It takes you to outer space In five seconds"
It's his turn to get red, and he looks the other way, trembling: "Regina, stop, I mean It"
She's still grinning while she leaves to go change, and says: "I'll be faster, by the way"
He grins back, and answers: "You're so cute when you're being delusional"
Both of them run at lightspeed to change.
Minutes later, Gina leaves the bathroom, and notices EJ's door still closed. Once he leaves, he finds her on the door, grinning again: "Who's being delusional, again??"
EJ rolls his eyes: "UGH FINE"
He grabs her hand, and they leave. Still grinning, she asks: "What do I get for beating you??"
Confused, he asks: "Isn't a 'congrats' enough??"
She smiles: "NAH"
It's his turn to grin: "And what about this??", he says, kissing her tenderly
She pulls back, swooning: "Much better, thank you"
He winks, and they get to the car. As always, he opens her door. She still gets red when he does It, and that's the only motivation he needs to keep doing It.
EJ *opening Gina's door*: "There ya go"
Gina *blood red*: "Thank you" *she gets In, and he closes her door*
EJ gets In, and they leave. Once there, they waste no time In getting Into the waves. They spend the afternoon swimming, laughing and playing games. A while later, EJ remembers something, and goes to the car, leaving a confused Gina behind.
EJ *stands up* : I'll be back In a second, babe
Gina *confused* : Where are you off to??
EJ *turns around* : Just gotta grab something In the car
Gina *smiles*: Just be quick, or I'll miss you *pouts*
EJ *smiles back*: Deal *kisses her and leaves*
Minutes later, EJ comes back with his guitar, and gina smiles
EJ *smiles back*: I knew this would get a smile out of you... *cups her face and kisses her head*
Gina *swonning*: It doesn't take a genious to find out that hearing my boyfriend playing guitar fills my heart completely...
EJ *caressing her cheek*: Oh, I know... *kisses her tenderly*
Gina *thinking*: Want me to choose a song again?? *smiles*
EJ *nervous*: Oh, not today, honey... I wanna play a REALLY SPECIFIC song... *trembling*
Gina *worried*: Eej?? You good??
EJ *shaking his nerves away*: I'm alright, Gi... promise
*EJ starts playing, and Gina recognizes the song In a second, her eyes Immediatly starting to water*
Gina(teary eyed): EJ??
EJ(singing): Lucky I'm In love with my best friend, lucky to have been where I have been, lucky to be coming home again...
*Gina can't hold It anymore, and bursts out crying. EJ finishes the song, and Immediatly sets his guitar down, pulling her Into his arms and holding her tightly*
EJ(tender): Gi?? You alright??
Gina(calming down slowly): Better than I deserve, honestly... *drying her tears* I love you so much, Eej...
EJ(carressing her hair): Love you too, princess...
As they lay down on the sand, Gina can't help but think this song describes her perfectly... as she closes her eyes, with her ear on her boyfriend's heart, she can safely say "Lucky I'm In love with my best friend"
