Ah, Musutafu the pillar of the hero society. Home to the worlds top hero’s, All might, Endeavour, Hawks and more. This world has a population where 80% have these supernatural powers known as quirks, most of these people train to become hero’s and protect their home to keep peace throughout the world they love. Unfortunately not all of these turn out to be the good guys. Some take the path of villainy whether it be they where abused for having a quirk symbolising villainy or they where bullied and shamed for not having a quirk making them seem abnormal.
What a black and white society am i right? Well, the hero’s think they are doing justice for this world, teaching their kids to stay safe and never to interact with villains or disturb the peace they bring. It’s funny really that’s why not everyone wants to be involved with them.
Yokohama, a beautiful city cut away by the government, to be shunned and hidden away never to be spoken or set foot in ever. Described as a place of monstrosity and cruelty run by villains and corrupted to the point of danger to the people. Those rumours are false indeed, Yokohama posses a secret only known to the higher ups of the government.
Abilities, around longer before quirks, way rarer then those pathetic powers. Way more powerful. But, those people don’t believe in anything stronger then the hero’s they have now. If an ability user were to go away from Yokohama they are to be immediately imprisoned to save the secret getting out.
But, hey who are we to disagree with the black and white society, as we are just the grey.
The hero’s have been in trouble a lot more with the media, as the villains they label them as are growing stronger everyday, killing millions of citizens but hey it’s not the hero’s fault if they die, it’s not the hero’s fault if they don’t even bother saving them!
No, of course the blame is to be put on the villains that are trying to fill society with the knowledge that the hero’s are just fake! But who are they to listen if that’s what they have been told all their lives, Hero’s bring good, Villains bring bad, and Yokohama is a quirkless town run by ruthless criminals.
Well i am going to change that.....
That’s why i’m here today, to tell you the story, of how i changed this black and white society once and for all...
“Ranpo!! Ranpo-san!! Ranpo-san please wake up! The President called us all for a meeting and it’s mandatory so we need to go now!”
Well, i’m sure you’ve got my name by now, I’m ranpo, Ranpo Edogawa the worlds greatest detective and don’t you forget it!
“Yeah yeah, Atsushi, i’m coming let me just get my snacks i’ll be right there.” Finally, he left. But i do wonder why would the president be calling a random meeting out of the blue
Well i guess we better go and check it out. I sigh and grab the pile of snacks situated at my desk before turning towards the meeting room.
I bash the door open with my back ignoring the protests of my coworker, kunikida ranting on how i’m late to a very important meeting
“Ranpo-san! I am ashamed that you are late to this meeting, even the shitty dazai was here before you, don’t you understand it is very important to not be late to meetings and show up and time. I think this is quite rude and that Fukuzawa-san a well deserved apo-“
Fukuzawa raised his hand to silence Kunikida Thank god i couldn’t stand any more of his rants. This meeting better be worth this pain and suffering
“Right so i’ve called you all here today as we have a problem.” Fukuzawa turns towards the board as pictures start to roll on the screen showing different hero’s and villains alike
“This people are becoming a massive problem for Yokohama, not only are people ruining the image with a false reputation, they are also doing a program to help Yokohama children escape the trauma of this place and have a happy healthy life in Musutafu hoping to turn them into future heroes.”
What. No way, those hero’s have officially lost it.
“What does that mean for us Boss.” Yes what does it mean..?
“We are going to have to enroll one of you in the program and i have already decided who..”
“HEH?!” Echoes through the room.
“I’m guessing your going to send Kenji or Kyouka or even Atsushi to do it? It would make the most sense as they can all easily pass off as teenagers.” Dazai perched up from his slouched position now genially curious about he predicament at hand
“That would be the case but... Kyouka would stab someone if they got to close to her, Kenji would start to bring animals everywhere and probably release the information of the mission, and Atsushi would be to nervous to do it.”
Ok that’s actually a fair point “But who are you going to sends then Boss.??” He looks me dead in the eyes
“You, Ranpo.” WHAT! Nah he’s tripping... I cant be sent to a place full of hero’s!
“I don’t think i’ll be very good at this..”
“Yes i agree.” Wow rude much your supposed to comfort me Akiko :(
“You can pass off as a 16 year old due to your height and the amount of people mistaking you for a kid ‘HEY!’ and also you will be able to pass the UA entrance exam with ease.” What the fuck is he talking about..
“Ok fine whatever, what do i need to do then.”
Kill me now.
“You will leave in two days time and i will have the information sent to you for what you need to do and you will need to research up on some of the history of the ‘quirks’ to better u defat and ourself on the knowledge.” I regret turning up to work today.
“Yeah yeah ok is that all?” I get up to leave but i was told not to by Fukuzawa
“You will also need to be prepared with an appropriate attire and stuff when you go to the entrance exam”
“Ok is that it then?” I look up at him to meet his eyes hoping for a way to escape this darn meeting
“Yes that is all you may take the next 2 days off and then we will take you to the train station ok? And if wish we can have someone take you there and help you get used to it.”
“Yes that would help a lot actually, can i have Akiko take me?”
“I’m fine with that, pres?”
“Yes i am as well, well then this concludes today’s meeting.”
Well today turned out to be full of shit didn’t it? Well at least i’m getting the next two days off that’s a bonus so i might as well go shopping
“I’m going now bye!! Don’t miss me too much guys!”
A chorus of ‘bye ranpo-san’ could be heard throughout the office before i walked out the door.
Seriously though, when i used to live in Musutafu it was hell. All i ever wanted to be was a hero until i learned the hard truth. Hero’s were just snobby little bitches posing an act for the cameras but of course I had to learn it the hard way.
My dad once went to an interview with the hero’s as he was well known in the police and detective force so we met quite the lot of hero’s. Well when he went for that interview it was all normal on the media but then when it was time to talk in private, My dad must have busted a nerve. You see it was just a regular conversation then boom.
My dad was flown out the window by one of the hero’s. The media posed it as an accident but that’s a fucking lie. They made sure to ‘support’ us with charity money and a photo but you think that would help? The hero in question was in fact All Might. That fucker, I used to love him, but now i fucking despise him he made me lose my family
Your probably like “Oh ranpo you still have your Mum!”. Well i don’t, she committed suicide right in front of me. She was that torn over by my fathers death that she couldn’t bare with the pain so she just, boom hung herself and let me tell you. 8 year old mes dream was CRUSHED to pieces.
Well i guess that’s enough for a sad story, you came here for a nice little infiltration so let’s get back to that story reader ;)
Well shit, lets see what did he say i needed to do again..? Ah yes get some appropriate attire to pass as a teenager
I guess i have to ditch the detective look. Im sorry Detective gods i have to betray our kind.
I stepped foot into the store and then i saw it. Ripped jeans.....fuck yes.
I went over there getting my size of those sweet ripped jeans in black because that’s amazing we turning emo today!
Hmmm if i wanna be an edgy emo boy then imma need some chains. Well shit.
Ah fuck that i’ll find them later but right now i need to find a top. What to do. Ugh i should’ve brought Poe along with me then i could’ve been classed as a shopping date. Oh well then I’ll die in agony then
Then i saw it.....The white top. I need it.
I got an oversized one because, comfort is still needed.
Well obviously i hadn’t to by a couple of the outfits eve though i will look like a cartoon character who just wears the same clothes everyday but i don’t care!!
I pay and silently cry inside because of the money being ripped out of my bank account but...i’ll just have Poe pay it back. Sugar Baby privileges bitches!
Yeah well now i need shoes. I’m. it going to be able to get myself a personal human ride am I now?

I waltz straight into claire’s and buy some piercings before getting onto the chair before the workers pierce the shit out of my ears and i was feeling cheeky so we got a nose and belly!!
With body in agony i went into the shop that sold shoes and went over to the Combat/ Platform section and bought a black pair with checkered soles because it fit with the black and white society shit sadly
I shot a quick text to Fukuzawa telling him i got the stuff to make me fit in as a teen and he just text me back with : 👍

I see some chains but i resist the urge suddenly as it would make me seem a villain. Fuck you and your family All might!

“Poe!!! We need to get up and go to the train station! I’m leaving for Musutafu today!” I shake my sleeping boyfriend up making him holy in surprise and scramble out of bed.
“I’m sorry Ranpo! Have you packed everything?”
“Yes”
“Have you eaten”
“Yes”
“Shall we get going.”
“Yes”
“Do you want to change and put some proper shoes on”
“No.”
“Ok then let’s go!”
He then grabs all of the suitcase and puts them into the back of the car getting into the backseat with ranpo letting the driver take care of things
“I’m going to send you money everyday ok so you can get what you need Ranpo” Poe says careful to not touch any of his healing piercings
“Ok then Poe-Kun. I’ll Miss you.”
“I’ll miss you too Ran.” He plants a small kiss on my nose before the driver telling us we have reached the station so we clamber out the car before walking towards the group of agency members
“Hi guys!!” I say cheerfully whilst accepting a hug off of Fukuzawa
“Have you gotten everything Ranpo?” Awe look at him checking in on me like a good dad should :)
“Yes i do now i believe the train leaves now so let’s go Akiko
I start walking away leaving Yosano with the stuff
“Other way Ranpo!” They all shout at me
“I knew that!!” I quickly turn my body the other way rushing to the platform
I board the train and fall asleep thinking one thing and one thing only
I’m going to make All night Eat Shit. In the nicest was possible because i’m going to become the worlds greatest Hero!!
