Kim Dokja: I’ve recently finished the novel ‘Proud Immortal Demon Way’. Apologies to the author, but I couldn’t enjoy it. I don’t understand how novels like this have 99999+ comments and follows while much better things are underrated. I’m not as familiar with Chinese novels as Korean novels but in my opinion it was bland and rooted almost entirely in basic tropes. The protagonist was edgy and immature, I don’t get why people like him. I ended up just wanting to throw my phone across the room.
Peerless Cucumber (Expert): This novel is so bad bro you don’t know the half of it. Airplane is a total hack who doesn’t explore any of the story’s potential, I’m sorry to you for having to read it. It has so many comments and follows because of the outrage factor IMO, people just read it to get mad so Airplane doesn’t bother to write a good story that will get people invested for the right reasons. I don’t think Binghe is unlikeable, though, he’s really cool and had a lot of potential, the tragic backstory, white lotus turned black, etc.
