TicciKitti - Who Are You? - Book 1 (There were no more. 💀)

Summary:

(Middle school me was... Interesting. Way too full of itself, but that was what made things fun, wasn't it? Everything not in parentheses is the same as the original, so don’t come for me. Tried to copy the tags as closely as possible. Can you create tags on mobile? Doesn't seem like it.)

A stupid story I'm making to annoy my fangirl bestie. UwU OwO
Follow along if you're here for a cringe or you like imagining marrying bad people. I don't mind either way.
Rip Toby. ???-2020

Notes:

A little dissapointed I never mentioned the cat ears. They're so random and make no sense.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: Gym

Chapter Text

I pushed through the crowded hallway, a sea of humans crashing against each other as they scrambled to get to their classes or wherever else they were going, as I tried my hardest to reach those large metal doors that lead to one of, if not the worst class in this school. Physical Education.

I walked in to see a jumble people across the floor in all their little groups. Gamers, Populars, the Probably Gangsters, and many others. A small group, however, that managed to secure really nice corners of the room, was mine. We are a little 'quirky'. Yeah, it's cliche, but that's just the truth of it. I wave at them and sit straight down. I don't bother to dress out, in fact, such a little amount do, the teachers gave up on enforcing it.

"Sooooo, Roseeeeee?" I snap to attention as one of my friends drags out my name. Isabelle. God, she was annoying, but in the best way. "Did you know that I just found out where Maddie lives?" I stared at her, eyes widened with surprise. "How???" I pleaded, and she just shrugged and said "I have ears, and my pals over there sure are loud." She handed me a peice of paper and I slid it into my sock. "Are we finally going to egg someone's house or something?" I glanced at Grace. "What do you think, dumb dumb? We're not really the sneaky type, we'd totally be caught." I answered with a giggle at the end.

Suddenly, the teachers started directing us out of the door. Ms. Smith started "Alright, everyone divide up and leave though the doors, we're doing 3 laps and then you can do whatever you want on the field or just keep walking." Isabelle broke away from the group for a moment to slide into the other line. Honestly, seeing her mingle with the popular kids was hilarious, because the second she got near they would scramble. All the way back in 5th grade, some kid said she was diseased and started staying away and everyone else caught on. Now, even in High School, they create a bubble of safety around her. I decided to talk to Grace, since she is my best friend.

"So, Grace, any new stories?" She was an avid news watcher ever since mysterious murders started occurring in our town. "Actually, yeah..." "Spill the tea!!!" I excitedly said, just to make sure she knew her conversational attempts were not in vain. "Last week leading into yesterday night, it seems like a random string of houses have been broken into and the people in them brutally murdered, but I've noticed a pattern. I invited Isabelle over, and we did a bit of research involving those victims, and they were all people accused of child abuse and were announced innocent in court. They all lived alone, or with other victims, but never were any people who didn't fit the bill killed." She finished up, I took a moment to process this new information. "Well...At least they got what they deserved..?" I said hopefully. Grace nodded in response. Isabelle joined us shortly after, where Grace told her that she informed me of the situation.

Suddenly Isabelle perked up, an idea forming in her head. "What if we try to pin the next location, and catch the murder?" She looked at us with pleading eyes. "Did you mean murderer?" I asked, slightly confused. "No, murder. I want to witness it. It'll be be a great story for the grandkids, plus, we'll be able to tell the officer what the murderer looks like so they can be caught in daily life!" She looked able to go on and on forever about why we should go, so we just agreed. Besides, we could help her track the murderer down, then we could leave her to observe them alone! That way success means fame and a story, but failure means only she dies. It's a win by all standpoints.

"My house tonight at 7?"

"Sure."

"See you there."

*Wow, one sitting of writing! I sure feel happy to have this. Have a great day, whomever sees this. Especially you, fangirlie. UwU*
