Pesetas exchanged hands before a dusty rolled up treasure map of the castle was handed over to Leon from the mysterious merchant, who was being watched like a hawk by Leon's partner, Mr. X, who most certainly did not like nor trust the hooded bloke.
"Heh heh heh, thank you! Come back anytime."
Leon nodded in response to the merchant's thanks then went over to sit himself down on a wooden chair in the merchant's shop, folding one leg over the other as he did so before unrolling the map.
"X, take a look at this." Leon casually called to the Tyrant who was still glaring daggers at the merchant it very much wanted to maul.
The agent began scanning the paper in his hands, taking note of where white stars indicating items were placed. Leon hoped these treasures would bring a lot of cash his way so he could finally get his hands on that sweet ass rocket launcher as well as a few guns he had his eye on.
A light tap on Leon's shoulder from the Tyrant brought him out of his thoughts. "Oh, right. I was gonna let you take a look, wasn't I?" He offered the map to his partner, who simply raised its hands, signing out as well as silently mouthing, 'What is this?'
"It's a map, X. It's gonna show us where all the valuables are, so I can buy some things from Mr. Overpricer over there."
That remark earned Leon a laugh followed by a shake of the head from the merchant who shrugged, "I've got to make a livin', mate."
Pointing to the map again, Leon addressed his partner, "right, we're not far from that star there so let's go and see what's there shall we, X?"
But before Leon rose from his chair to leave, he said something that surprised Mr. X, "this map doesn't show me where all the treasures though... Cuz your location isn't marked on here, X."
The merchant overhead the flirting and groaned, "that was awful, stranger!"
But X liked it. It made the creature smile, which, in turn, made Leon smile.
