Work Text:
Margie and Joker were sitting together in a large field, it was a summer night.
"The night sky reminds me of us, although we may be far apart, we are still seen in the same sky" Joker looked down at her, smiling
"Indeed so, I wish we could spend more time like this" Margie would slightly lay on his shoulder.
"I guess our wish is coming true, such a wonderful warm night together, it is almost as if this day was planned from the beginning." Joker would then look up to the stars.
Joker spotted a little flowering clover, he plucked it from the ground and showed it to Margie. "Clovers are so beautiful... They match you" He'd slowly put it in her hair, making it visible.
"Remember when we came out here and make flower crowns? Oh... that was great" Margie would smile warmly, her face upwards towards his.
"How could I ever forget? I remember clearer then water." He'd gaze across her vibrant eyes, they shined even in the moonlight.
"In this field, only good things can happen" Margie spoke her thoughts, she'd grab Joker's hand.
"I agree, there are no worries, no circus, just us." He'd smile graciously towards her and kiss her forehead.
"Someday, we will be able to live together, away from this mess of a circus." Margie would smile towards Joker, and he'd nod in agreement, he'd hug her tightly, not wanting the night to end.
"We should go back now... It is getting quite late" Margie would say. Joker would nod and help her up.
"Goodnight field, and goodnight to us."
