wylan van eck was happy. this was the first time in a long, long time he could say that. as he cuddled up to his boyfriend jesper, he thought that, for the first time in a while, he felt a genuine smile creeping up on him. He was utterly in love.
he hadn’t heard jesper wake up, only the sound of his groggy morning voice that wylan had come to love so much.
“morning love” jesper said, wiping sleep from his eyes.
wylan blushed, being called pet names like that always made him flustered. “morning”
“did you sleep well?”
“yeah” wylan wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep.
“wy, i have to get up, kaz wants me at the crow club in like, 2 hours.”
“well then we still have 2 hours” wylan grinned and pinned jesper down.
wylan had a reputation of being a timid boy, but that was not true with jesper. with him, wylan was confident, and cocky, not to mention getting sarcasm lessons from jesper.
jesper heaved a big sigh, and with a mock defenceless tone told wylan “fine, if the big bad wylan van sunshine wants to keep me here all day, so be it”
wylan giggled, and jesper relished in it.
Jesper continued to crack jokes, impersonating kaz and the other crows, while wylan just listened and thought about how damn lucky he was for having jesper with him, after everything with his dad.
after a while they settled in each others arms. they shared short little kisses and whispered sweet nothings in each others ears.
wylan fell back asleep, and when he awoke, jesper was gone. but on the night stand were waffles, made just the way jesper knew wylan liked.
wylan smiled and took a bite. how did he get so lucky?
