Work Text:

When the Potters decided to go on an outing to the muggle world, they didn't expect to find themselves staring at a single piece of art for minutes on end as they toured the National Gallery in Norway. Truthfully the couple had been visiting the magical alley in Oslo, to visit a few old friends while they were in Europe. When in an attempt to surprise his cultured and high class spouse, Harry brought tickets to several art and musical shows in the muggle part of Oslo and surrounding areas.

Their first stop had been the Ekebergparken Sculpture Park, in which the pair had walked around for hours studying the figures that decorated the park, then that Evening attended a show at the Oslo Opera House. Harry personally didn't care for the particular Ballet that they saw,but watching his spouse focus on it was adorable.

The pair started their next day by visiting the National Gallery . Harry watched as his love wandered as close to the paintings as possible, chuckling as he listened to the minor commentary that his love was just lightly muttering as they appreciated the works. Then towards the middle of their tour they both found themselves staring for minutes on end at this painting. Harry and his spouse both had looks of concentration on their faces, then all it took was for one to look at the others before the pair broke out in laughter.

Harry pulling out his wand and with a quick glance and a notice me not charm, flicked a simple spell at the painting , that only magicals would see if they ever visited. The plaque that normally read 'The Scream by Edvard Munch - Oil, Tempura and Pastel on Cardboard-1893' now read “The Scream of Lord Moldyshorts”.
