"No, please, don't!" Anais pleaded.

"Don't you dare!" Gumball growled.

"Oh no, it's gonna slip!!" He taunted, waving Daisy back and forth as he began to loosen his grip. "Time to watch her fly away!"

"NO!" Gumball ran forward to try and pull Tobias away, but he wasn't quick enough. Tobias let go of Daisy, dropping her on the road outside just before Gumball could pull his arm back inside.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Anais screamed and ran to the back of the bus, beginning to pound on the back window as tears began to stream down her face. "NOOOOOO! NOOOOOO! DAAAAAIISYYYYY! DAAIIII-SSSSSSYYYYY-YYYYYYYY-YYYYYYYYYY-YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Darwin quickly rose and ran over to comfort her as Gumball glared at Tobias.

"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE JUST DONE!? YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THAT DOLL MEANT TO HER!?" Gumball growled.

"Uh...oops...?" Tobias shrugged.

The feline unsheathed his claws, preparing to strike, and Tobias' eyes widened as he began to cower with fear.

"No, please, don't! I'm sorry!" He pleaded. Gumball's paw shook as he slowly raised it, before he simply dropped it, decideding  that Tobias wasn't worth it.

"You don't mean that..." He growled before he walked away.

At this point, Anais had stopped banging on the widow and had turned back round to sit in the seat, sobbing into her paws, Darwin sat next to her and trying to comfort her.

"No....no, no, no-o-o-oooo...D-Daisy's... D-D-Daisy's go-o-o-oooone! She's gone Darwin, she's gone! I'm never gonna see her again!" S he sobbed.

"Hey, that's not true! We'll go and get her straight after school, the second the bell rings, I promise, it'll be okay!" He tried to assure her.

"No, no, there's no way she'll still be there! Someone is gonna take her and t-t-then there's no way I'm e-ever gonna find her! My best friend is gone! She's g-go-o-ooo-ooooone! I'm never gonna see her again, a-a-and...and it's all your fault!" She turned and glared at Gumball, who had just joined the two of them, her eyes narrow and full of anger and hatred.

The feline stopped and looked at her, eyes wide with surprise."Wait what!? My fault!? Tobias is the one who dropped her off the bus! How is that my fault!?" He sat down next to her, his face a mix of emotions. Most obviously guilt and anger.

"You brought her on board in the first place! You let him throw her out! You could have stopped him! Why didn't you stop him Gumball!" She shouted at him, shoving him angrily.

"I tried to stop him, Anais, honestly I tried! You saw me standing up for you! You saw me try to get Daisy back!" The feline shot back.

She raised her voice, beginning to scream at him as her anger got the better of her. "WELL, YOU DIDN'T TRY HARD ENOUGH! I'VE JUST LOST DAISY! MY BEST FRIEND! I'LL PROBABLY NEVER SEE HER AGAIN AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" She began to punch his chest as hard as she could which, although not that hard, was still pretty painful. "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"

"I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU SO MUCH!" The punches continued coming, harder and harder, getting more and more painful but Gumball simply sat there, guilt and pity plastered on his face as he allowed her to get her anger out.

He watched as Darwin wrapped his fins around her and tried to pull her away, only for the rabbit to try to start, kicking and punching at whatever was around her as she violently struggled in an attempt to break free, tears streaming down her face as she continued to shout. "NO, GET OFF OF ME!! LET ME GO! LET MET GO!!!"

His ears lowered, pinning against his head. He and Darwin glanced at each other, the fish looking to be in just as much anguish as he was. He was almost in tears himself as he struggled to hold back Anais.

The feline went to hold her paw, in an attempt to try and comfort her at least a little bit, but she ripped it away and slapped him across the face instead, hard enough for him to reel back slightly and gasp in pain. "STAY AWAY FROM ME! I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN! I HATE YOU!" She screamed, shaking with anger. Her brothers looked at each other with a mix of horror and concern. The two had never seen her this worked up before.

Gumball held his cheek, feeling the sting of her slap. She'd never hit him this hard before, nor had she ever shouted at him with such genuine anger in her voice. It was clear that the girl in front of him right now was not his sister. Suddenly she managed to break free of Darwin's grip and returned to attacking Gumball, pounding on his chest at full force. "I HATE YOU! DAISY'S GONE AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! IT'S ALL. YOUR. FA-A-A-AAAUULT!!!"

The fish went to restrain her again but Gumball shook his head. Darwin hesitated, giving him a look. Confused, and concerned. Asking if he was sure. He nodded, speaking softly. "It's okay..."

Reluctantly Darwin nodded back and moved away, allowing his sister to continue her uncontrollable frenzy on her brother, who just sat there silently, looking at her, his face patient and empathetic as she screamed, berating him, calling him every insult under the sun, and landing hit after hit to the chest as she took everything out on him as if he were nothing more than a human punching bag, there to take the brunt of her anger and sorrow and allowing her to get it out of her system.

He knew she didn't mean any of it, obviously. In her current emotional state, she just couldn't help it. She couldn't control how she was acting. She had just lost who she considered her best friend, believing she would never see her again. She was angry and her little heart was completely broken, shattered into pieces. He couldn't be mad at her for how she was acting. It wasn't her fault.

" YOU'RE THE WORST BROTHER EVER! I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU SO MUCH! I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU! I hate you, I hate you...I h-hate...yoo-ooo-uuuu!" The punches finally slowed down and weakened as she finally quietened down. She was defeated, broken

Darwin pulled her into a tight hug as she began to sob painfully into his chest. He s troked the back of her head silently as she continued to cry. He comforted the young rabbit, shhing her gently as she trembled in his embrace.

Meanwhile, Gumball glared over at Tobias and Masami who had been watching the whole ordeal with everyone else on the bus. The two looked back, their faces horrified, shocked, and guilt-stricken at the painful display they had caused. They'd never seen Anais act like this before, and to know that it was their fault...to say they felt awful was an understatement.

Gumball looked back over to his brother, who was cradling the sobbing mess of his sister in his lap, continuing to stroke and comfort her quietly.

"W-What do we do!?" Darwin asked, having no idea how to deal with his sister in such a state. "I've never seen her like this before..."

The feline sighed, stressed.  "I...I don't know...just, do whatever we can to try and cheer her up, I guess..." He replied, lowering a paw to begin stoking her too.

Meanwhile, Carrie was on her way to school, wearing her headphones as she banged her head to rock music. She had planned to take the bus like usual but for some reason when it arrived outside her house, she just...couldn't bring herself to get on. Something deep inside her was telling her not to, telling her that she needed to walk to school that day. She just had this...gut feeling that something was going to happen, something she needed to be there for, that she would miss if she got the bus like intended.

So, that's exactly what she did. She let the bus drive away and set off to school on foot instead. She didn't really mind as it gave her a chance to listen to her music and relax in her own thoughts for a while before the hectic day began. She was brought out of her thoughts however as she was crossing the road, stopping confused as she noticed something pink laying in the middle of it.

"Huh? What on earth is that...?" She took off her headphones and put them around her neck as she floated over, and to her surprise, there was Daisy the Donkey, laying abandoned in the middle of the road.

"What the...Daisy the Donkey...? Isn't this thing Anais'? Why is it here?" Carrie thought out loud. She used her telekinesis to lift it up, unable to pick it up by hand, before turning it over and checking the tag to be sure. Sure enough, written in black marker was 'Anais W.'

"Is...is this why I wasn't meant to take the bus? To find Anais' stupid doll? If I'd known it'd be this lame I'd have just taken the bus..." She complained as she rolled her eyes.

The ghost hesitated and slowly frowned however, staring at Daisy, deep in thought as she felt a pang of guilt in her chest. She looked down with a sigh.  
What was she thinking? Sure it might be stupid to her, but Anais loved this doll. The poor thing was probably going crazy looking everywhere for it,  She shouldn't be complaining about it, she should feel grateful. She'd be given the chance to reunite Anais with her beloved doll, which would no doubt make her ecstatic. That alone was worth her not taking the bus. 

As she smiled weakly she made the doll disappear in a flash, teleporting it back to her room to keep it safe until she found Anais, before putting back on her headphones and continuing her journey to school.

A few hours later and it was now lunchtime. Gumball and Darwin sat on a bench, heads in their paws/fins as they looked toward the ground, clearly upset as they still thought about their sister.

Anais had eventually stopped crying, but the entire rest of the bus ride she had just sat in silence, gloomily staring out of the window, with wet tear-filled eyes, and not saying a word to either of them, no matter how hard they tried to get her to talk.

As soon as they'd arrived at school she had simply got up and walked off the bus, without so much as a goodbye. It was obvious how distraught and heartbroken she still was, and the two had no idea what to do to cheer her up.

"Hey, uh, Gumball, Darwin...?" They suddenly heard a familiar voice call out to them softly, one that was obviously concerned but also reluctant to interrupt them at the same time.

The two looked up to see Penny standing in front of the bench.

"Oh...uh, h-hi Penny, W-W-What's up?" Gumball replied weakly, trying to sound enthusiastic.

"I...saw what happened on the bus with Anais. I'm really sorry..." She apologized as she sat down next to Gumball.

"You don't need to apologize Penny. It wasn't your fault." Darwin assured her.

"I know, but...I still can't help but feel bad..." She hesitated. "I've never seen her act like that before...I mean, she hit you Gumball, hard! Losing that doll must have destroyed her..."

Gumball nodded weakly, his ears lowering. "Yeah...she was out of control. We've never seen her so upset before. It...it was horrible..."

She hesitated. "Is...is she okay now...?"

The fish sighed. "...No. She hasn't said a word since she stopped crying, and we haven't seen her at all since she got off the bus..."

The peanut looked down, imagining how upset Anais must be. "Oh, the poor thing...look, i-i-if there's anything I can do to help, anything at all..."

"Unless you have Daisy I don't really think there's really much you can do..." Gumball informed her with a sigh.

"What if...what if I buy her a new Daisy...? That'd cheer her up, right?" She suggested.

His eyes widened slightly in surprise. "What!? No, no, I-I-I can't ask you to do that! This isn't your problem, you shouldn't have to-"

"You aren't asking me Gumball, I'm offering. I hate seeing her so upset, and getting her a new doll is the least I can do. Besides, you're my friends, and I'm always willing to help a friend."

Gumball smiled weakly. "Look, thanks for the offer Penny, we really appreciate it and all but...I just don't think she would accept a new Daisy. Unless we can find the original there's not much else we can do to cheer her up..."

He sighed and looked down with a sniffle. Penny looked at him empathetically before placing her hand on top of his paw and giving it a squeeze as she gave him a reassuring smile. "It's alright Gumball, I'm sure you'll think of something...you always do."

The feline simply smiled back appreciatively. "Thank you..."

They were suddenly startled by Carrie appearing in a flash in front of them, looking out of breath "There you are! I've been teleporting around the school and looking all over for you!"

"Carrie? What's wrong?" Darwin asked concerned.

"Do you know where your sister is?" The ghost asked.

"No, we haven't seen her since we left the bus. Why?" Gumball informed her.

"I've been trying to find her all morning! I found her doll on the road on the way to school this morning and I've been trying to find her to give it back to her.."

The two gasped, their faces lighting up in delight. "Wait, you found Daisy!? You have her!?" Darwin asked excitedly

"Yeah, right here!" She raised her arm and Daisy appeared floating beside her in a flash.

Gumball ran over and hugged her. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! You have no idea how happy this is gonna make her!"

Carrie hesitated, taken aback and unsure how to react to the sudden hug, before awkwardly chuckled and reciprocating it. "Uh...y-you're welcome..."

Darwin chuckled lightly. "Y'know, I expected this to be a little harder than just having Daisy handed back to-"

"Ooh, what's this? The Emo girl still plays with her little baby dolls?" They suddenly heard Julius' voice as he snatched Daisy.

"and you had to go and jinx it..." Gumball said through gritted teeth.

"Wha-hey, give that back!" Darwin demanded, ignoring his brother's comment.

"Why? You tryna stand up for your little girlfriend?" He teased

"S-She's not my girlfriend!" The fish and ghost both blushed.

"and that isn't my doll, it's their sisters!" Carrie defended herself.

"Oh!? You mean that this belongs to that annoying little Miss Smartypants?" He asked, before beginning to grin. "Even more reason for me to destroy the ugly thing!"

"No, don't you dare! That doll means everything to her!" Gumball stood up, looking furious.

"Give me one good reason why I should care." He crossed his arms.

"Well, I...uh..." The feline faltered, not sure what to say to convince him. He looked at Darwin for help but he too had nothing.

"Welp, guess the Donkey gets to go bye-bye then!" He smirked.

"Julius no, don't!" Penny called out, but he didn't listen. He began to pull Daisy's head in one hand, and her body in the other, the seams struggling under the stress.

Gumball bit his lip as he watched the seams threaten to rip apart at any moment. He had to do something, anything. If he wanted any chance at reuniting Daisy with Anais in one piece he had to act, now.

"Wait!" Gumball cried out, holding out his paw. "If you give me Daisy back I'll...I'll give you all of my allowance for a month." He bargained, looking down in defeat.

"Oh? Now that is a tempting offer..." Julius smirked.

"Gumball, are you sure!? Are you really gonna give away an entire month's allowance just to get Daisy back?" Darwin asked.

"I have to Darwin. That doll means the world to Anais and I already let it get lost once, I'm not going to let something happen to it again!"

The fish hesitated before smiling. "She's lucky to have a brother like you, you know that?"

The feline nodded, before turning back to Julius. "So, do we have a deal?"

"Alright, fine. You can have the stupid doll back...". The bomb hesitated before smirking. "...if you can catch it!" He suddenly threw the doll as hard as he could across the playground, Gumball and Darwin both immediately sprinting after it.

"I got it, I've got it!" Gumball ran after Daisy and caught her, but he couldn't keep a good grip on her, the doll bouncing in and out of his paws.

"Ah, what is wrong with me?!" He finally managed to get a good grip on Daisy and cheered. "Haha got he-ugh!" He crashed straight into a basketball pole, the doll flying out of his paw.

"I got it, I got it, I got it!" Darwin called out as he now chased after it. However, he immediately dug his heels into the ground and skidded to a stop, gasping in fear, eyes wide in terror as he saw where it had landed.

The fish slowly backed away, gradually getting faster until he turned and ran away. He ran over to Gumball, who cracked his shoulder and neck back into place. "I don't got it..."

"Why?" The feline asked. Darwin shakily raised his fin, pointing toward Tina, the doll having landed in her arms. "I love you!" The donkey happily informed her as the dinosaur pulled its string.

Gumball and Darwin cautiously approached her as she laughed, the two looking at her terrified.

"Uh...D-Darwin has something to say to you!" Gumball quickly pushed Darwin forward and hid behind him.

"Wha-Uh, h-hey Tina...you err...you have something that kind of belongs to our-" He began only to be roared at in the face by Tina.

"Okay...this is really bad..." Darwin whispered to Gumball.

"Yeah...let's go and have a word with Anais!"

Anais sat in the hallway beneath the window, legs up against her chest with her arms wrapped around them, ears pinned against the back of her head. She sniffled as she teared up yet again. "Oh, Daisy..." She teared up as she yet again thought about her beloved doll. 

All day long she hadn't been to think of anything else except Daisy. She had tried her best to focus on her work and take her mind off of her, she really had, but she just couldn't, no matter how hard she tried she just couldn't stop thinking about her. She had almost broken down a few times in class but she had just about managed to hold herself together.

She could feel her lip quivering as she fought back another wave of tears. She and Daisy had done everything together, been through so much with one another. She had always been there for her whenever she was scared or upset or worried. She could always opens up to her, tell her anything, even her biggest, most private secrets. Daisy was so much more than just a doll to her, she was a friend. Her best friend, but now she was gone. Daisy was gone, and there was nothing she could do about it. She was never going to see her again, and It wasn't fair. It just wasn't fair...

The young rabbit burst out crying again, lowering her head head into her lap as the warm tears streamed down her cheeks. She had been so happy this morning, minding her own business as she played with Daisy, and then that stupid rainbow bully and that cloud had to come and ruin everything. Take it all away from her. Why? What had she done to deserve something like that? What was wrong with them!?

As she continued to cry her mind wandered to the aftermath of the whole ordeal, and what she had done. A pit opened in her stomach as she remembered how she had acted, what she had said and done to Gumball, and realized how much she must have hurt him.  How could she have said those things to him? How could she attack him like that?! He had done his best to try and save Daisy for her, and what she had done in return? Blamed him for what had happened, insulted him, attacked him, slapped him, hurt him! What was wrong with her!?

"Anais!" She suddenly heard the feline call out. She slowly looked up with a sniff to see him and Darwin walking toward her, looking both concerned and scared. "Are you okay? We've been looking for you everywhere!"

Without hesitation, and without saying a word, she suddenly jolted up and ran over to Gumball, silently hugging him as tightly as she could, sobbing into his chest.

"Woah, hey! I guess that's one way to say Hi..." He joked as he hugged her back, making her smile slightly.

She remained their, quiet hugging for a while as he stood their awkwardly and confused.

"Anais...? Are you okay...?"

"I'm...I-I-I'm s-s-so sorry!" She finally spoke up through her tears.

"Sorry? For what...?" He asked, genuinely having no idea what she could be apologizing for.

"For...f-f-for what I did to you on the b-bus! I s-shouted at you, i-i-insulted, and attacked you! I h-hurt you so badly!"

His ears fell as he realized what she was referring to. "Oh no, no, it's okay, you don't need to apologize." He assured her as he picked her up.

"Yeah, it's okay Anais. We aren't mad at you or anything like that. It's fine."  Darwin assured her.

She paid no attention, continuing to cry into his sweater. "I d-di-didn't mean anything I said! I didn't mean to attack o-o-or h-hurt you! I s-s-swear! You're a g-g-great brother, a-a-and I know you tried your best to get D-Daisy back for me! It wasn't your fault, it wasn't, it wasn't! I was j-j-just so mad a-a-and upset, a-a-nd I lashed out and took it out on you! I-I-I didn't know what I was doing! I was just so angry and upset a-a-and I'm s-so sorry! I'm s-s-so so-ryy-yyy-yyyyyy!"

The feline began to stroke the back of her head gently as he spoke to her softly. "Awww Ani...It's okay, it's alright, I forgive you. I understand why you did what you did. You just lost Daisy and you were heartbroken and angry. You needed to get that anger out and unfortunately I was the one you chose to lash out at."

Darwin nodded. "Yeah, it's perfectly reasonable why you acted that way. No one would blame you for what you did."

She looked up with a sniffle, wiping her eyes with her paws. "R-Really? Y-Y-You really aren't mad at me?" She asked sounding genuinely surprised.

"Of course not sis. We could never be mad at you for being upset." Gumball smiled.

The young bunny hesitated, unsure how to respond. Eventually, she settled on simply hugging him again lovingly. 

The feline chuckled. "I love you too Ani..." He rubbed the top of her head affectionately, which was enough to get a smile and a small purr from the rabbit.

Gumball put Anais back down and as she took a moment to compose herself Darwin hesitated. "...So, how are you? Do you... feel any better...?" He asked sounding hopeful.

She hesitated before sighing. "...not really." She sniffed. "I just...I can't believe I'm never gonna see her again..."

"Well, about that..." Darwin bit his lip. "We have good news and bad news."

"Huh?" Her ears pricked up slightly at the mention of good news. "W-What do you mean? What's the good news?" She asked, beginning to sound a little excited.

"...We know where Daisy is." Gumball informed her with a weak smile.

She gasped in delight, her face lighting up like fireworks. "You know where she is!? Really!?"

"...yeah but..." The fish replied hesitantly before 

"Where!? Where is she!?" She shook him as she demanded him to spill everything.

"...That's the bad news..." Darwin began to rub his arm as he hesitated.  "...Tina has her."

"Tina!? The T-Rex!?" She gasped, eyes widening with horror.

"Yup...that's the one..." Gumball sighed.

"W-What are we gonna do? We have to get her back! We have to!"  The bunny pleaded as she held her brother's paw.

The feline hesitated before letting out a sigh. "I don't know Anais...I mean, she could easily destroy all three of us if she wanted. Getting Daisy back from her is gonna be super dangerous..."

"We have to try! I have to get Daisy back, I just have to! Please Gumball, Darwin, you have to help me get her back!"

Darwin held her paw. "and we will. We just need time to come up with a plan, okay? I promise you, we'll work out something tonight and then we can go and get her tomorrow, as soon as we wake up, okay?"

The rabbit hesitated, biting her lip. "I...I dunno...I'm not sure if I can wait that long...I mean...I can't sleep without her."

He gave her paw a squeeze as he gave a reassuring smile. "Please, Anais. It's just one night without her, that's all. Can you do that? For us?"

She looked at the two of them, clearly hesitating, before eventually sighing, "Alright...I-I-I'll try..."

The cat and fish hugged her. "Thank you. We know it'll be hard, but we promise, you'll be okay."

Anais sniffed. "I-I-I'll try my best..."

"I know you will, sis. Right, come on you, how about we go and talk with Penny and Carrie for a while, hey? Help cheer you up a little?"

She hesitated, before smiling weakly. "Y-Yeah...I'd like that." 

The feline smiled and took her paw as the three of them headed out to the playground.

Anais tossed and turned in her bed, face scrunched up in anguish as she had a nightmare. "No...no...please, don't!" She muttered in her sleep.

"NOOO!" She jolted up with a scream, hyperventilating as she looked around frantically. "Oh...oh...it was just a dream...oh thank god..." She had dreamt that her and her brothers had gone to retrieve Daisy from Tina, only to watch in horror as the T-rex tore the doll into shreds in front of them.

Once she had calmed down she laid back down and tried to go back to sleep, but couldn't as she instead found herself thinking about Daisy, and what Tina might be doing to her. What if had already destroyed her? What if she was chewing her up in her large teeth or ripping her limb from limb for fun? 

The more she continued to think the more worried she got. What if she still had time to save her now? Sure, they had agreed they would go to Tina's tomorrow and convince her to return Daisy, but why was she wasting time here waiting when she could go and rescue her now? What if she waited, only to find it was already too late? She couldn't just sit her and do nothing whilst every second mattered! She had to go and get Daisy, now!

She quietly got up and climbed down the bed's ladder as quietly as she could before heading toward her brother's bed/bowl. She shook Gumball whilst she knocked on the side of Darwin's bowl. "Guys, wake up! Wake up!" She whispered.

The feline slowly stirred and turned to face her sleepily. "Ugh what...Anais? What do you want?"

"I can't wait til the morning to get Daisy! We need to go and get her back now!"

"Now!? Anais, it's..." He looked at his alarm clock. "...it's two in the morning, can't you just wait a few more hours!?"

"No, I can't! Even a few minutes could be the difference between Daisy coming back to me in one or multiple pieces!"

"Huh? What's going on...?" Darwin sleepily asked as he too woke up and rubbed his eyes.

"We're going to Tina's to get Daisy right now." Anais informed him, stating it as if it were a fact.

"No, we aren't! We're waiting until tomorrow like we agreed! Now go back to bed!" Gumball demanded.

"No! I'm not waiting any longer! I want her back now!" She crossed her arms.

"Anais, please. It's the middle of the night. It's way too late to go now..." Darwin tried to reason.

"I don't care what time it is! I have to get Daisy back, and I have to get her back now!"

"Well, you'll just have to wait cause we're going back to bed." Gumball replied bluntly before turning back around.

The rabbit thumped her foot annoyed. "Fine! If you won't help me I'll just have to go on my own!" She snapped before heading toward the bedroom door, intending to go to her own to get changed.

"Anais, no! You can't go on your own! It's too dangerous!" Darwin called out.

She stopped. "Well, I'm going no matter what! Whether you two come with me or not is up to you!" 

The fish looked toward his brother, who had now sat up. They looked at each other worried, biting their lips.  

The feline hesitated, before sighing, obviously a little annoyed. "...Alright, fine, we'll go get her now. But you owe us, big time!"  He exhaled, getting out of bed.

"You will!? Anais asked excited.

"We will?" Darwin asked surprised.

"Well we can't just let her go to a dump with a crazy T-Rex living in it in the middle of the night on her own, can we?" He replied.

Darwin hesitated "...Good point." He agreed, climbing out of his bowl.

Anais suddenly ran over and hugged Gumball and Darwin. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!  I promise you, I'll pay you back, I'll make it up to you!"

Gumball couldn't help but smile and roll his eyes. "...I'm sure you will...alright, come on, let's go get this over with..." He yawned.

Anais smiled, a look of determination on her face.

Don't worry Daisy, we're coming for you...

An hour later and the three were now at the junkyard, all fully dressed, Anais with a bag slung over her shoulder.

"What's with the bag?" Gumball asked her.

"I already told you, it's for... supplies." She explained.

"Supplies...?" Darwin asked confused.

"Yeah, like..." She opened the bag and took out a flashlight. "This."

"You know you don't need that, right? I'm right here, I can guide you both." The feline reminded her. 

"Yeah, but this is easier." She rebutted with a shrug before turning it on and continuing forward, the other two following behind.

"She has to be around her somewhere..." Anais searched around.

"Wait, over there! There's a small shack!" Gumball pointed over to it, and Anais turned and shone her flashlight on it to reveal it.

"Perfect! Let's go investigate!" The rabbit smiled.

The three ran over to it and peered inside , Anais shining her flashlight inside.

"Man, this place is scary. I mean, is that really her bedroom?" Darwin asked.

"Wow, It's a dump..." Anais commented.

"...Literally." Gumball added.

 "It's...actually kinda sad..." Anais commented, her ears lowering a little.

"Yeah, poor thing...having to sleep out here on her own every night...must be rough..." Darwin agreed."

Suddenly Gumball gasped. "Look, there she is!"  He whispered as he pointed over to Tina, who was asleep with the doll in her arms.

Anais gasped excitedly. "Daisy!"

The three stopped looking through the door.  "Okay, here's the plan! We get inside, lift up her arm, take the toy and get the heck out of there. You got that, Darwin? Go!" He pushed Darwin forward.

"What!? I'm not doing it!" Darwin crossed his arms.

"Well, there's no way I'm doing it! There's a literal T-Rex in there!"

The rabbit glared at the two of them as she crossed her arms. "Well, one of you better go. Otherwise, I'm telling Mom!"

The feline placed his paw on his chin in consideration.  "Hmm... getting told off by Mom...or fighting a T-Rex... Mom, T-Rex, Mom, T-Rex..."

"Yeah, I'm gonna go with the T-Rex." Darwin decided before opening the door.

"Definitely. No contest." Gumball agreed as the two went inside.

The two quietly walked up to Tina, trying not to make a noise. Suddenly Darwin sneezed and Tina made a small grumble.

"Darwin, don't do that!" Gumball complained.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it!" 

"Whatever, just be quiet, okay?!" He shook his head before immediately stubbing his toe on a piece of metal.

He gasped and began to hop around, holding his foot in pain as Anais giggled outside .  "AH, YOU STUPID PIECE OF JUNK!" He gasped and quickly covered his mouth as his eyes widened horrified.

Tina growled slightly but still didn't wake up.  The feline sighed in relief before he and Darwin continued forward, climbing up the mountain.

When they were about halfway up Tina suddenly growled and jumped slightly. 

Gumball stopped. "Okay, I'm not getting any closer to that thing. Wait here." He ran back down to his sister.  "Anais!"

"What?!"

"You see that pole over there?" He nodded toward it. "Throw it to me!" He held up his paws, ready to catch it.

She nodded, running over to it. "Okay!"

Darwin's eyed widened in fear. "No, no, he can't catch!" He called out, but he was too far away for her to hear.

"Here it comes!" She leaned back to throw it.

"No, don't throw it! Don't!"  He frantically waved his fins and shook his head but it was too late, and he was forced to watch as she threw the poll.  "...Oh gosh darn it..."

Gumball jumped up to catch the poll, but it went soaring past him and hit the metal junk, causing a loud crash.

"Huh...?" Tina stirred. The three held their breath as she lifted her head and glanced around. Anais ducked away, and Gumball hid behind the pile of scrap, leaving just Darwin. He panicked and dived for a nearby workbench, which he ducked behind.

Not seeing anyone, Tina shrugged and went back to sleep.

"Phew..." Gumball sighed in relief as Darwin walked back over. The fine picked up the poll and began to poke Tina.

"Careful!" The fish warned him.

" I'm sorry! It's just really hard to maneuver a long pole!" He complained.

Darwin suddenly began to laugh. "Look, it's like she's smiling!" He pointed out as Gumball had the pole lifting up the corner of Tina's mouth.

"Oh my god it does! Hahahahaha!" The feline laughed as he began to make her mouth move up and down, making her look happy and sad.

"Happy, sad, happy, sad." The two snickered quietly.

"Hey, Darwin, look!" Gumball poked Tina's nose and put the pole into her mouth "Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum." He began picking Tina's nose and poking at her mouth, making noises.

They both snickered as Anais walked up behind them, covering her mouth as she did the same. 

"What ...hahahahaha....w-what are you doing?!"

"Just having some fun...don't worry, she'll never wake up." He assured her.

Just then Tina stirred again, frightening Gumball, Darwin and Anais as she rolled over on top of Daisy

Anais gasped horrified. " Daisy!"

"It's okay, we'll just have to move her." Gumball assured her.

With a lot of struggle Gumball and Darwin lifted Tina up enough to reveal Daisy.

"Hold it, buddy! Let me see." He reached out for Daisy when Darwin suddenly squealed in pain as Tina began to crush him. "Gumball, help!"

"Darwin!"    The feline called out horrified.

"I got it!" Anais quickly ran over and quickly held Tina up. "Grab Daisy, quickly!" 

Gumball quickly swiped Daisy. "Yes, yes! I got it!"  Unfortunately, her string was caught on Tina's finger, getting pulled out before it snapped free.

" Sweet dreams!"   Daisy started braying waking Tina up. The siblings stood still for a moment, their smiles frozen on their faces as their eyes shrunk.

Gumball swallowed. "...Run." He squealed.

The three ran off screaming as Tina began to chase them.

"Gumball!" Anais called out in terror.

"What?!" He asked before turning and seeing Tina right behind them. The three screamed and ran faster, before diving into a nearby car.

Gumball quickly tried to roll up the window, but Tina stopped him by placing her hand inside, so he locked the door instead. She tried to open the door from the open window, but couldn't reach it.

"Hahahahaha! Can't get us now, can you!"  Gumball taunted as the three began to laugh.

Tina turned and walked away, much to the three's relief.

"Phew. I think we're safe now.." Darwin sighed in relief.

Suddenly the roof of the car caves was ripped away by Tina. The three screamed and Gumball opened the door. "Run!"

The three bolted out of the car and began to run away.

"This was a stupid idea!" Anais admitted

"It was your idea! I wanted to wait until tomorrow and talk to her about it! You know, like a normal person!" Gumball complained.

"I know, I'm sorry! I should have listened!" The bunny apologized.

He sighed. "It's fine! Let's just get out of this alive, okay?" Gumball assured her.

She nodded. "Any ideas?"

"Maybe we should give Daisy back to her? That's what she wants!" Darwin suggested.

"No! She's mine!" Anais glared at him.

"Oh that reminds me, here."  Gumball tossed Daisy at Anais, who tripped and fell over as the other continued running.

Anais looked behind her in horror as she saw Tina running straight for her, intent on ending her, and screamed.   " Gumball, Darwin, help me!"

"Anais! Gumball's eyes widened in horror. He panicked and looked around for something to help.

Meanwhile, Tina hovered about Anais about to attack her, as the little bunny trembled in fear. Suddenly a brick flew out of nowhere and hit Tina in the face,  causing her to roar in pain.

She turned and saw Gumball, who was already holding another brick. "Leave my sister alone!" He yelled before throwing the second brick, which also hit her.

Tina exhaled furiously at Gumball and Darwin before running after them.

"Gumball, she's after us now!" Darwin yelled as the two ran.

"I know, I didn't think this through!"

"Great job!"

"Thanks!"

"I was being sarcastic!"

"I know!"

As the two continued to run Gumball spotted another car nearby. "Wait, over there!"

The two ran and hid behind it as Tina ran by. They waited for a moment then sprinted in the other direction.

Gumball suddenly gasped.  "The gate! We're nearly there. It's almost over!"

"We can't leave yet! We need to find Anais!" Darwin reminded him

He gasped.  "Oh shoot, your right! Where is she?"

"I don't know! We need to go and find her!"

The two stopped and turned back around, only to be met face-to-face with Tina. 

"Not so fast."

They screamed before Gumball quickly covered Darwin's mouth. "Wait, Darwin, keep absolutely still. Her vision is based on movement."
 
"That only works in movies."

She roared and the two screamed as she ran toward them. She was stopped however as a crane claw suddenly dropped down and pinned her to the ground.

"Huh?" Gumball asked confused before looking up and seeing Anais at the crane controls, Daisy in her lap. "Anais!"

She jumped down and joined the two, and as she did the feline grinned, giving her a hug. "Sis, that was amazing!" 

"Nah, it was nothing..." She blushed, rubbing her arm.

"No, it wasn't! You saved our lives!  I guess you paid back that favor you owed us! In fact, we owe you now!" Darwin smiled.

"I think you owe me about a dozen times already..." She smirked.

Gumball turned and grinned at Tina smugly.  "You know, Tina, there's a lesson in this somewhere. Don't mess with the Wattersons. We're hot. We know it. You're not. You know it."

The three all began to do a celebratory dance. "Uh-huh, uh-huh,  Who's the boss now?" He pointed at Darwin. "Ow, we the boss now!

"Yeah, that's right, we the boss now! Uh, uh! What's that? Who's the boss now?" He pointed at Anais. "We the boss now!" 

"Mmm, mmm, mmm-mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm! I'm the boss now!" She pointed at Gumball. "You're the boss now!" She pointed at Darwin. "He's the boss now!" She pointed at Tina. "She's the-"

The three stopped and frowned as they noticed that Tina had begun to cry. Gumball hesitated before rubbing his arm. "Uh...T-Tina, are you alright?"

She sniffed.  "I'm s-sorry. It's just that I...I never had a toy before. I swear, I-I wanted to give it back, h-honestly, I did! It's just... she helped me to sleep..." Her voice broke as she looked down. "It's just s-so scary here..."

The three looked at each other guilty. Gumball's ears lowered as he felt a pit in his stomach "Man... I feel really bad now..."

Anais hesitated before smiling. "You know what, Tina...? I think you need Daisy more than I do. Here." She put Daisy down in front of Tina.
 
"Really? Are you sure?" The dinosaur asked.

Anais nodded.  "Yeah. She'll look after you when you're scared. Besides...I don't need her anymore. I've got Darwin and Gumball to look after me."

"Awww..." Darwin teared up.

"Oh, come here! Group hug!" Gumball smiled, and thee hugged lovingly.

"That's uh...very touching and all. But now you'd better start running."

"What? Why?" Gumball asked.

"My dad eats trespassers..." Tina informed them before her dad ran up roaring.

The three screamed and quickly ran away through the gate and out of the junkyard.

As the three began to walk home Gumball stopped and smiled at Anais.  "You know...I'm proud of you sis."

The rabbit stopped. "Huh? W-Why?" 

"You giving away Daisy. I know much she meant to you, so for you to give her away to someone else more in need of her like that...I'm really proud of you."

Her ears slowly lowered. "Uh...about that..."

"Something wrong?" Darwin asked.

"I...uh...I didn't really give Daisy away...." She admitted.

"What do you mean? We saw you give her to Tina. You left her behind."

She hesitated before sheepishly opening her bag and taking out Daisy, before looking down guiltily and rubbing her arm.

"What the-you still have her!? But how?"

She hesitated "...Because I didn't give Tina MY Daisy. I gave her A Daisy."

"I... don't understand." Darwin rubbed his head confused. "You mean there's two Daisy's?"

The rabbit nodded, only making them even more confused.

"But...how...?" The feline asked.

She sighed. "On the way home, Mom noticed I was upset and asked what happened. I told her and she felt bad and offered to buy me a new Daisy. I was adamant to her that I didn't want a new one, but she insisted it would help me feel better so I eventually just agreed just to make her happy. Then, when we were getting ready to leave I remebered the new Daisy and had an idea about what I could do with it. I brought it with me secretly, and whilst we were separated I switched them over and gave Tina the new one."

Gumball narrowed his eyes and inhaled, whilst Darwin crossed his fins and looked at her angrily. "So...let me get this straight. You had a Daisy this whole time, but you made us go all the way to a junkyard in the middle of the night, and almost got us killed by a T-Rex, just because you wanted the original Daisy back!?"

She looked down guilty, feeling really bad. She hesitated before nodding. "...I'm sorry..."

The two glared at her angrily and hesitated before looking over at each other, smiles creeping onto their faces. They slowly began to snicker, before slowly evolving into full-on laughter., much to her confusion.

"Why...why are you laughing?" She asked.

"N-Never change Anais....never change..." Gumball laughed

"Wait, so...y-you aren't mad?"

Darwin smiled "Of course we're not...come here!"

He held out his fins for a hug and Anais eagerly came over and accepted his embrace, Gumball joining in from the other side. 

She smiled. "...I love you...thank you so much for helping me get Daisy back..."

"Any time sis...any time" The feline smiled back.

As the three continued to hug, Darwin looked down in thought. "Wait so...if you didn't really give Daisy away, does that mean that you didn't mean what you said about not needing Daisy cause you had us?" He asked a little hurt.

She looked up a little surprised. "What? No, no, of course I meant it! I know that don't need her, I'll be fine as long as you and Gumball are there, but...she's been through so much with me, always been there for me, no matter what. I just...I just can't get rid of her. I love her. She's like family to me."

"More so than us it seems like..." Gumball crossed his arms and turned away upset. The rabbit frowned and held his paw. "No, no, that's not true! I love you way more than her! I'd give her up in a heartbeat if it meant keeping you and Darwin!"

He turned around with a smile and rubbed her on the head as he began to chuckle. "Awww, I know, I'm only messing with you!" 

She giggled before letting out a long, tired yawn. "Sounds like someone is tired. Come on, let's get you home before it gets light out..." He held out his paw.

"I'm too tired to walk...can you just carry me...?" He tiredly asked.

He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Alright..." He smiled and picked her up, wrapping his arms around he began to walk home.

"...Thank you..." She replied sleepily.

A few minutes later the two smiled as they heard her begin to snore lightly, having fallen asleep with her head resting on his shoulder and her arms dangling over his back.

As Darwin looked at her he shook his head with a chuckle. "God, her and that doll...with how she acts you'd think that thing was alive or something..."

The feline laughed. "Hah, right! Hard to believe she isn't!"

As the two laughed, unbeknownst to them Daisy slowly raised her head to the camera and smirked, putting her hand over her mouth as she winked. "...Shh....."
