Victor Grantz walks outside of his home, he looks at his mailbox. New mail! He'd excitedly run out the door to grab the post letters from Aesop, his closest penpal and friend! He eagerly ran to his desk and ripped open the letter it read...
"Dear Victor Grantz. I have enjoyed all of our talks together and have cherished our memories, even through letters. We have spoken through pen and I think it would be best if we met up somewhere, like at a park! I would love to see you for the first time, and Wick as well. I hope that you are doing good, and i am excited for your reply. Aesop Carl"
Victor smiled and got to writing, he started writing down the dates and such they could possibly meet up at. He thought of all the things they'd do at the park as he wrote the letter.
He'd go to the local post office where he worked and delivered the letter with a small floral stamp. He smiled at the stamp, hoping he would like it. He'd slip it into the outgoing mail box and happily skipped back home, smiling, hoping the date would work well as he had hoped
Once he got of, he was almost ecstatic about the letter, he set his notebook on the desk to bring to the meeting spot, he awaited a letter from Aesop.
Victor woke up at 6:00 am, he was so excited for the letter, he looked out the door, still no letter...
he made some coffee and breakfast, still no letter
he fed Wick, still no letter.
Victor had gotten to the point of looking out the window for the postman, he wishes he was at the office to get the letter himself.
Soon enough, the mail-car drove up to his house, he smiled and ran out the door to grab the mail himself.
Victor ripped open the letter to read what Aesop had sent him
"Dear Victor Grantz, I would love to meet up, the time and place you had stated earlier work well for me. I am off of work Sunday so that also works, I'm looking forward to meeting you. Aesop Carl"
Victor was so happy he was practically jumping up and down, he smiled brightly from the kind letter. Aesop had even signed it with a little heart!
Victor went out to go pick out an outfit. He settled with a sweater and some sweats. He also got a grey scarf.
Victor could barely sleep, he was so excited.
The day came and Victor made sure to make himself look very nice for Aesop.
He had walked to the park 1 hour earlier then he needed to be.
Victor hadn't forgotten his notebook, he was writing out different greetings, smiling brightly whilst he tried different sayings and hellos.
Soon enough he'd spot a figure in the distance, it was a masked man. He slightly waved and pulled down his mask.
Victor would run up and hug him, he'd hand Aesop the notebook.
"Hello, Its nice to meet you." Aesop would smile softly, he read what was on the notebook and smiled brighter, he had noticed the erasing marks.
"This greeting is very formal, It is greet to meet you in person."
Victor would smile even brighter and write down something else on the notebook
"Its good to meet you as well"
