Work Text:

Bakugou had a reputation.

He wasn't nice. He didn't go out of his way for others and no one touched him. But, to every rule there is an exception, Kirishima was always the exception. He was allowed to help him in the kitchen, to casually throw his arm around his neck whenever they approached, to lay his head in his lap during free hours in the common room of the dorms, and even run his hands through Bakugou's hair during some movie nights. The blonde found himself allowing such an approach naturally, and little by little truly appreciating those moments.

When he least realized it, Bakugou was already cooking and serving two dishes instead of one. When Kirishima needed help studying, Bakugou would be there to immerse with him in the books. When Kirishima fell, Bakugou was quick to offer the other a shoulder to lean on and rest, not shying away from offering his own kind of encouragement, brute words but sincere in their intent. When the other felt insecure or feared that he was not good enough, he was always the first to offer support. These moments always helped the redhead to return to its original glow.

And Kirishima glowed, it was like the sun itself illuminating his class, its cozy warmth bringing joy and lightness to many rough days. Their friends were just mere planets orbiting around him.

Katsuki used to see love as a weakness.

An obstacle that could stop him from becoming number one, but as time passed, this thought became more and more meaningless.

Because, loving Kirishima was simple, the easiest thing he had ever done.

He didn't lie to himself. He really didn't lie, accepting the sentiment with frightening ease. Bakugou was curious after the USJ, then interested after the Sports Festival. But it wasn't until Kamino that it hit him.

When the redhead was the only one who noticed the invisible weight he was carrying and was willing to spend sleepless nights by his side, when the memories were too much for him to bear alone and his chest felt crushed and shattered into hundreds of pieces, even then, the redhead always was there to help him put everything together, patiently and lovingly.

Maybe, Kirishima didn't even realize his feelings. Maybe, he knew how Bakugou felt and was waiting for Bakugou to bring it up. Or maybe, he knew and was comfortable with the way they were too.

----------------****----------------

Seeing the attack on TV was surprising, it was also the first clue his class had about the secret mission the others were involved in.

Bakugou wasn't worried. As they watched the few images the reporters managed to obtain from such a big distance, he had faith in his classmates. He even saw Deku's green figure fighting the villain, saw some people floating, and his colleague with long green hair evacuating some civilians from the surroundings.

But he didn't see red.

He wasn't worried. The heavy feeling growing in his stomach and the tightness in his chest sure had another name, it had to.

Kirishima was strong. He knew it was. He trusted him. He trusted the heroes who accompanied them.

Later, when they finally heard that most of their classmates would be going home the next day, there was a sigh of relief. But the news weren't entirely good, Kirishima had to stay in the hospital for a few more days. And the nagging, piercing sensation in his chest finally consumed him, leaving his legs numb and his mind in a daze. And he let himself fall with no one to catch him. Alone.

----------------****----------------

On the night they finally let Kirishima go back to the dorms, Bakugou felt an inexplicable fear. They hadn't spoken. He hadn't visited him, despite the requests and protests of his two pink roommates who had been supporting him for the last few weeks. He didn't want to see Kirishima upset. But that didn't stop his heart from sinking. He went to bed early, an escape route. He was running from the inevitable and he knew it.

Hours later, he heard shuffling footsteps in the hall, slow and heavy with exhaustion, heard them pass by his room, but the noise from next door did not reach his ears. He felt his chest sink in seconds when he heard a muffled sniffle on the other side, he raised his head looking with his eyes open wide at the door. He didn't wait, didn't hesitate like he had been doing for the past week.

Kirishima looked at him in surprise as he left the room. There were small trails of tears on his face and he was trying to find the key to his room. The boy at the sight of his friend tried to wiped his face and the evidence that he had been crying.

"Bakugou? I thought you went to sleep, man. Sorry, did I wake you up? I didn't want to"

Bakugou cut off his babbling, gripping his shoulders and pulling him into a tight hug, that alone eased the tension in his muscles and the heaviness in his chest immediately. He was there, he was with him and he was fine. Kirishima melted against him, hiding his face against the blond’s shoulder. Bakugou gripped him tighter as he felt a sob break through Kirishima's whole body before he gasped.

"I broke" Kirishima grumbled through her tears. "I'm pathetic. I failed. I couldn't even do the one thing that"

"Hey. The mission was successful "Bakugou growled. He didn't know the details, nobody knew, the only ones were those involved since it was highly confidential. But he knew it had something to do with the little gray haired girl he'd seen around a few times and he knew they were successful, he knew Kirishima had helped with that and he didn't need any more information. "You didn't fail. You were a shield, you stood up when they knocked you down " He hugged him closer. "You're strong Kirishima."

Kirishima sniffled quietly, a shudder passing through his body. His hands twitched as he held onto Bakugou.

"Would you- Could I... would you... please?"

Bakugou didn't need him to ask. On nights like this they already had a routine.

"Come on, let's go to sleep." Bakugou muttered, helping the redhead to open the door with his steadier hands, clearing the way for the redhead's room, before coaxing the other to go lie down. After turning off the lights, leaving only the shark-shaped lamp lit that Kaminari gave to the youngest's on his last birthday, he followed him to the bed, covering his back and placing himself between Kirishima and the door, snuggling into his back and holding him close with his arms. The redhead sniffed, gripping the hand that Bakugou rested on his stomach tightly.

"Bakugou, I..."

"Shh, quiet shitty hair,  I got you. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere."

Kirishima shifted on the pillow, pressing his back against the blonde as he seemed to silently beg for comfort. Bakugou held him tightly.

"I'm so proud of you."

It was just a whisper but it made the redhead's heart sink, turning suddenly and gripping Bakugou, hiding his face in his neck and being received with a light stroking in his hair.

"Thanks." He muttered snuggling closer around the blonde, not taking long to fall asleep, soon being followed by the bigger one who snuggled even closer to the redhead, enjoying what his presence brought to him in the silence of the night.

----------------****----------------

The smile on the blond’s face was the most sincere he'd given in years, the redhead immediately returned it, holding one of his hands.

"Show it, show it, show it!"

Bakugou sighed as if it was something hard to do, but he didn't let up on his smile as he handed over his new hero's license.

"License and debut on the same day" said Kirishima, shaking his head in disbelief and laughing. "You're always so dramatic, bro."

"It's not my fault the shitty villains picked a bad time for them." Bakugou grumbled, looking away from the shining rubies staring at him.

"Looks  sooo good" the redhead was still gaping at the details on his license "You even took a good picture! Great Explosion Murder God: Dynamight."

"It's a great fucking name." Bakugou argued, taking his license back.

"Of course it is"  Kirishima laughed  "Dynamight suits you."  He looked to the side changing his smile from sweet to mischievous "I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with someone we might know, who could be our teacher and that you admire or something."

"Hey shut up! I'm totally original shit hair!" he pushed the other lightly "at least I didn't fucking steal the guy's full name."

"Hey, Red Riot is original too!"

"You literally changed only the first name."

"But it's original." The redhead got closer, lifting his chin in challenge.

"Red and Crimson aren't that different." The blonde glared at him, lowering his voice slightly.

"Yeah? Dynamight and All Might are not that different too." The smaller one approached a little more, tilting his head slightly.

"Oi! You bastard." He snarled, gritting his teeth as he turned his head feeling heat rise up his cheek, Kirishima chuckled and walked away, Bakugou instantly forgetting it.

"Whatever." He ran his thumb over the surface of his license. "And hey… Don't, uh… Don't tell anyone my hero name yet. I want to do this my way."

Kirishima's smile softened and he nodded.

"Ok, I will not. Thanks for telling me."

Bakugou snorted.

"Whatever, I'd tell you anyway. You are…." he paused.

My Best Friend? The exception? Unique? Home? The only one that matters? The person I love?

Kirishima bit his lip, looking tense but still smiling.

"…Yes?"

He whispered, as if he had heard everything and was absorbing every detail of what Bakugou wasn't saying. The blonde swallowed hard.

"Yes."

It was the only thing the blonde managed to mutter in response.

"You too, Katsuki."

Kirishima whispered the smile reaching his eyes, making him shine like the bitch ass  sun was right in front of him and only for him.

Shit.

Bakugou loved him so much.

----------------****----------------

"Okay okay! So it's decided we will do a show again." Iida gestured to the front of the class with his robotic gestures.

"And what kind of music you guys will play? As a choreographer I need to know to have a basis." The pink one sitting at one of the tables asked over the noise.

"So…" Jirou mumbles before being interrupted by her classmates.

"I vote for something romantic!" Toru exalts.

"But romance has nothing to do with being a hero, it has to be something restless like in a fight scene!" Argues Ojiro from the other side.

"I vote for something cheerful and fast!"

"Kami, as much as I think your enthusiasm is cute, happiness is not really the thing of this course." Shinsou mutters with his head resting above the electric blonde's.

"Sorry, but also not all of us are emos and sad boys Shin." Denki retaliates lifting his chin.

In seconds the room was enveloped in a huge confusion of voices with ideas and arguments. Since the news that the cultural festival would take place at the beginning of the year, the current class 2A was debating which event they would present to the rest of the students and visitors. But, when the idea of reuniting the old band and reliving the success of the previous year came up, everyone agreed in a beat.

"SILENCE EXTRAS!" Bakugou shouts from his table, shutting everyone up almost instantly.

"Thank you Bakugou" nods Momo "well, just like the last year, Jirou will be responsible for the lyrics, whoever has suggestions can talk to her privately and we will try to find a way to harmonize all the ideas" She smiles sweetly to the purple haired girl that smiles back, the girl looks then to the pink girl "Mina can for now just warm up her group with a more basic choreography and as soon as we have something it will be passed on to you immediately, any more questions?" the class remained watching the brunette and silently agreeing with her. "Great! I'll pass what we decided to Aizawa-sensei, thanks for everyone's collaboration." She finishes with a smile and a slight bow before leaving the room.

----------------****----------------

"Pinky for the love of god, leave me alone!" The explosive blonde complains as he walks around the room while the pink girl is lying with her head in Uraraka's lap on his bed.

"Blasty. You know we're right, you've been stalling for years! I don't know, talk to him, ask him out, anything! But just do something! You guys are too obvious." Said the brunette rolling her eyes and crossing her arms.

"He doesn't like me that way, otherwise he would have already done something." The blonde grumbled as he threw himself into his desk chair.

"Of course, yeah, because Kiri is just sooo full of confidence" the pink girl grumbled "Blonde, we both know that he wouldn't make any move if he thought he could end your friendship." Mina snuggles a little closer under her girlfriend's touch in her pink fluffy hair.

"That idiot should know that such nonsense would not end our friendship! And if it is like you said, if we are so obvious we should know that it is mutual, but it is not! Because I know he only sees me as the best friend, plus he keeps babbling about the metal guy in 2B." The blonde ends more quietly and covers his eyes with his arm shortly after throwing his head back.

"You're two idiots that's right" Bakugou turns his head towards the bed with a threatening look "Sparky. I'm one hundred percent sure that he feels the same way about you and that Tetsutetsu is nothing more than a friend"  the brunette o stares at him daring him to reply but leaving no space before speaking again "So for the love of it do something! you're both so stubborn that you've just accepted the fact that it's "not reciprocated" and don't even notice that you're unhappy about it."

"And what should I do? Walk up to him and be like “Hey hot stuff, did you know the latest? I've had a chasm all the way down to hell for you for over a year now? And even if you don't believe it I think you're the most amazing person I've ever met in all this shit place, and that is ignoring the fact that you're hot as fuck, and let’s not comment on me thinking I don't deserve a third of the affection that you somehow have for me, aside from the fact that you being the strongest guy I've ever met and still managing to be a goddamn ray of sunshine with that stupid smile of yours that makes me go crazy for hours on end. You knew that big boy? No? Well, if you know you know."

"… Okay, that… That was not what I was expecting." The brunette shook her head slightly in disbelief.

"Bakugou by the gods! You love him for real! Damn, that was intense and I'm sure it would work, I just don't know if Kiri would survive it, plus, we have to keep you away from Denki, he's contaminating you with the memes."

"Shut up raccoon eyes! And of course I like him, what stupid fuck in the world wouldn't like him? He's perfect!" as he sees it "And you are not helping, if you are so sure about that, give ideas instead of staying occupying my time."

"Bakubabe, why are you so stubborn?" She sighs "…Maybe?" the girl starts to open an evil smile "Oh, could it be…? Are you scared?" Challenged Uraraka.

"Don't even start cheeks" she showed him her tongue "and of course I'm hella scared, he's one of my best friends, what if I did some shit that hurt him?"

"Ok katsu, no freakouts today" the smallest girl gets up from the bed softening her expression changing to something tender and determined "as your best friend and future maid of honor at your wedding I guarantee you. He. Likes. You. He looks at you like your hedgehog hair and that scowl of yours are the best thing he has ever seen in his life, like you hung the damn moon and the stars in the sky! But here we are, you're so stubborn that you don't even notice the glow he gets whenever that mean face of yours appears. You're making this whole thing "platonic" when clearly neither of you want that." She said seriously with her woody eyes locked on the bigger one's red ones.

"Who the fuck says you're my best friend round face?" He questioned raising one of his eyebrows hoping the frown would hide the slight blush on his cheeks, caused by her comments.

"Me, myself and I" she said, lifting her chin proudly "I don't spend half of every week listening to you talk about Kiri and putting up with your outbreaks to be considered any less than that, get over it firecracker." She gave him a light flick in the middle of the forehead while winking.

"You and Pinky are unbearable" he complained, adjusting himself in the chair, without disagreeing with the brunette, stopping with his forearms resting on his knee. "Will you help me out or not? I need ideas if I'm going to do this."

"And will you follow any?" The pink one sits at the edge of the bed leaning slightly towards him while his girlfriend settles down to the side "Okay, calm down Dr. Mina the best love consultant on this side of the globe will take over your case" she straightens her clothes and puts on a more serious look "Well, Kiri has always said that she likes cheesy and cliche things, like those over the top romantic gestures, which is really sweet, so we have to think of something big but that is relatively simple and comfortable for both of you guys." the blonde just tilted his head for her to continue "So… we have the cultural festival in a few weeks we could think of something in that time, festivals are romantic by themselves."

"In case the ma'am forgot, I have band rehearsals, it's not like I have a lot of free time after classes and practices."

"Well, we can join the useful to the pleasant and think of something that would involve both" she stared at him noticing one of the blond eyebrows raised in a confused way "the band in this case."

"Yes, of course, what should I do? Just stop the presentation in the middle and declare myself to the four winds?"

"Bad idea, Eiji would freak out" she let out a light laugh while he rolled his eyes "it has to be something intimate with as few people as possible, we know that Kiri is kind of shy… Let me think..."

"The theater won’t be used by any other class after ours, which already gives us a place, could we ask Kiri to wait and help with the organization after the end and you could…I don't know… Talk to him after the show?" She shook her head, everyone knew that if it was that simple it would have already happened "Give him a letter?" This time she sees Mina shaking her head and Bakugou frowning "Then... sing for him?" Ochaco tried again looking at Mina suggestively, her girlfriend's short smile and wide eyes indicated that this would be a good idea to consider.

"I don't know if you hit your head or something, but I don't sing" he looked at her seriously "Vocals are with Jack's, all I do is the percussion, mocchi." The brunette puffs out her cheeks at the use of the nickname.

"Stop with the scene, the whole squad knows that you sing or have you forgotten when we dragged you to that karaoke and forced you to do a duet with Denks? Highlight of the evening" She smiled with the pleasant memory that came to her mind "We have to repeat the dose someday." Mina smirked.

"Plus, you're always humming during your morning run." She pointed out as she was the one who had accompanied him in several training sessions over the second half of last year.

"Humming and singing are very different" He mumbled while the brunette just rolled her eyes "Besides if that were to happen, what should I sing? Some 2010’s cliche shit?"

"Actually… You can sing that song you've been scribbling in your diary for weeks" the pink one doesn't even finish the sentence with a light smile before he looks at her with an exasperated look "What? You take that thing everywhere, did you really think I wouldn't notice? The little I managed to read made me sure it was for Eiji....I find it beautiful you know?" She said, looking tenderly at him.

"Kats, we know you have talent, something original would definitely be amazing for a moment like this, Kiri would love it for sure." Ochaco answered, holding the pink girl's hand.

"You're two very nosy little brats, and that... it's not even a song, it's just random thoughts." Said the blonde, mumbling the last part.

"Well, I'm sure Jirou would agree to help you organize them" The one with black scleras suggested "We know she's the best in the class in that regard, you can focus on turning that into a complete song while me and Ocha take care of the theater part so that it is just a moment for you and him."

"You are…..impossible." He grunted with a slight smile.

"You meant to say that we're amazing, i know" The pink girl opened a smile as she got up from the bed pulling the brunette with her "We just want your happiness, so you don't need to thank us." She winked.

"Don't let it go all over your alien head" he got up too "If something goes wrong you better be willing to spend a lot of money on spicy food and strawberry cake." The two laughed.

"Don't worry darling, everything will be fine" the brunette held his hand "And well- If for some other world mystical or astrological reason it doesn't work out, we're always here to hold you" she punched his arm 'And marathon a lot old movies and full of cliches." She finished with a smile.

"You really are impossible" He smiled fondly "Thank you for... everything... Now get the fuck out of here before I blow you both up to nothing." Threatened him making light explosions in his palm, the smile never leaving his face.

"Blasty is back to normal!!" Ashido replied laughing and punching his arm before pulling his girlfriend to the door "See you later Bakubabe! Everything will be fine, don't freak out about it." After the two left the room it was still possible to hear their light laughter in the hallway, with a slight eye roll he threw himself on his bed.

The idea wasn't all bad, it would obviously require more time and effort as there would be two songs to memorize in such a short amount of time, but just thinking about what it could lead to made him slightly dizzy.

The blonde's thoughts wandered a little more in future plans surrounded by a sweet hope, before he realized it he was already falling asleep lulled by the feeling of joy that formed in his chest, after all even if things went wrong they wouldn't stay like this forever he and Eiji were too close for something like that to keep them apart permanently, and he knew that if things got complicated he could count on the nosy girls he called friends and who had been by his side many other times.

----------------****----------------

"So… What you're telling me… Is that you want my help to turn this into a complete song, because you want to declare yourself to Kirishima and you want me to help you introduce it too?" The purple woman scores trying to keep up with the hurried explanation the blonde gave her after one of the band's rehearsals.

"Yeah Jack's, what stupid part didn't you understand?" He retorts defensively, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Easy firecracker, I'm just trying to see things from your angle." she lifted her chin looking directly at him instead of the notebook still in her hand "You really like him don't you blasty?" She said with a smile.

"Why the fuck is everyone keeps telling me this? Do you think I'm really a bloody ass door without feelings? for love." He replied exasperated, dropping his hands to his sides "Of course I like him, hell, so are you going to help me or not?"

"Don't worry, firecracker, you're working with a professional here or… almost." She shrugged with a slight smile "Well, we'll have to start working on that soon, we can meet at night after dinner, from what I've read here I already have some notion for the rhythm and I'm thinking that you'll want something more acoustic at first" he nods "Ok, we have the lyrics left to finish, but the melody will be the easy part."

"Could it be in your room? I think it would be complicated in mine, since I share walls with Kiri." The blonde points.

"Of course, after dinner then, and don't be late we will have to do this basically every day so it stays good until the festival, so I expect the minimum of commitment on your part."

"You're talking to the best of the class ears, I know what it's like to have responsibilities." He glares at her, clenching his jaw.

"The best boy in the class you say, my girl is right behind you blondie." She winks as she grips the strap of her guitar and walks out of the dorms' common room towards the elevator with a smile on her face. She was really looking forward to meet with Momo and tell her all about how Bakugou's face was flushed throughout their conversation and how they were right this whole time.

----------------****----------------

The lively chords in conjunction with the beat and vocals made the crowd of students from other classrooms vibrate as they danced in front of the stage. The days until the cultural festival passed quickly, making everyone anxious.

Bakugou was totally focused on keeping the rhythm rehearsed, not that it was too complex. In front of him, Denki and Tokoyami happily marked the melody, skilfully playing their guitars, while Jirou accompanied them with her bass. In the center of the stage Midoriya walked excitedly while leading the vocals this year, which surprised many people but no one was complaining. Further back next to him Momo accompanied the melody with her keyboard.

At the same time that the blonde was focused on his presentation, his chest tightened with anticipation of what would come next.

The weeks of rehearsals after dinner brought a very satisfactory result for him, and he was proud of his work. But despite the confidence he knew the anxiety was inevitable, he was about to put his closest relationship he had with one of his best friends on the line. His heart hammered heavily behind his ribs. Noticing the final chords coming up, he slows down his movements just before ending the performance. The group thanked and said goodbye to their audience that cheered loudly and then slowly left the place going to enjoy the rest of the festival.

After everyone left the stage, little by little their colleagues gathered their things and left to walk around the festival. The blonde however, settled into a chair behind the curtains while drinking from his bottle of water.

He knew that Kirishima was still in the audience, just waiting for him, like he had been asked.

In less than ten minutes it was just him, Momo and Jirou left backstage, and Mina's message on his cell phone confirmed that Kirishima was the last one in the theater besides them. The three looked at each other before the biggest one nodded, picking up a percussion box that was beside him and carrying it to the stage again.

Kirishima was sitting right in the third row in front of the huge stage, now almost alone in it, Bakugou felt it was somehow even bigger. The red was casually fiddling with his cell phone as he waited for his friend. Noticing the movement on stage, he looked away from the screen and saw the older man sitting in the middle of the stage on top of a wooden box, which he quickly recognized as a percussion instrument, the blonde staring directly at him.

"Bakubro, are you ready man? I'm dying to see the B-class game booths." He shouted kinda confused just a few tones above his normal range for his classmate to hear from a distance.

"Red, that's... yeah..." he tried to speak looking a little nervous, and the redhead notices that his voice is connected to some microphone because it resonates through the speakers of the place "Just, just pay attention, shit hair." The smallest then sees Momo and Jirou getting ready behind the blonde, the brunette going to her keyboard and the purple one standing next to the blonde with her guitar, the still confused redhead just nods and leans back in his seat trying to process the scene in front of him .

The explosive in the middle of the stage takes a deep breath , “there's no turning back” he thinks “shit” his heart goes back to hurting his ribs and his hands tremble slightly against the wood. He nods and hears the beginning of the melody coming from the guitar to his right.

"Mmm, Mmm" the redhead just watched the three started a calm harmony just muttering the first part, the blonde's voice standing out above the other two.

"Wanna be king in your story;

I wanna know who you are;

 I want your heart to be for me;

Oh, I;"

Only the blonde's voice sounded through the speakers, being lightly accompanied by the guitar.

"Want you to sing to me softly;

'Cause then I might run in the dark,

That's all our love ever taught me;

Oh, I;"

Kirishima from his seat just appraised in amazement what was happening in front of him. Bakugou singing was breathtaking by itself. Even though the blond  had his head down, the redhead could spend hours just enjoying this sight, but the feeling rising in his chest left him shaken.

Was… Was that song about them?

Was it about him?

These thoughts wouldn't leave his head and he couldn't manage. as he watched he saw the explosive raise his head and felt the red eyes boring into his with a burning intensity.

"Call and I'll rush out;

Mmm;

All out of breath now;"

Again the voice of the three can be heard together, and Bakugou started a light rhythm on the percussion box being accompanied by Momo gently strumming the keyboard.

"You got that power over me;"

"My, my;"

The girls did the background voices

"Everything I hold dear resides in those eyes;

You got that power over me;

My, my;"

His eyes fixed on the redhead sitting a few meters in front of him, his heart beating strongly in his chest, the mixture of feelings that surrounded his body being squeezed with each verse.

"The only one I know, the only one on my mind;

You got that power over me;"

He could clearly see the minor's red eyes widened slightly when this part hit him, the realization tinged his gaze with brightness and light tears welled up in both of their eyes.

The redhead shifted in his seat, his body now lulled into a complete state of numbness, he could still hear the blonde's voice, absorbing his every word.

He could feel in his very core the feelings the other was trying to express, and he could visualize some of the memories that they shared, most sweetly cloaked in the lyrics, all bringing up his own feelings that he preferred to keep for himself for most part of the first year.

But how could he hide them now?

Now when the blonde was there singing to him, exposing his feelings in such a tender and beautiful way that it was impossible for the redhead not to shed tears with the flood of feelings that reached him.

"It was all in doubt;

They were all around;"

The music moves towards its end, the instruments stopping softly, leaving only the blonde's voice echoing through the place directly into the redhead heart.

"So we hide away and never tell;

You decide, if darkness knows you well;

That lesson of love, all that it was;

I need you to see;"

The overflowing emotion made the older one's voice tremble slightly at the end, making the blonde look slightly to the ground before returning to his only spectator and finishing the last verses looking at him fondly.

"You got that power over me; "

"My, my;'

"Everything I hold dear resides in those eyes;

You got that power over me…"

With the end of the song the girls left the stage in silence leaving the two alone, They remained seated just staring at each other, tear marks and slightly red eyes marking both faces, silence reigning in the place both seemed to hold their breaths as they processed the music and their feelings.

Kirishima was the first to get up, walking hurriedly towards the front of the stage and climbing to the top with a jump, Katsuki just acted on instinct, getting up and receiving the redhead in a tight hug.

The two stayed for some time in that embrace, their breathing accelerated in the same rhythm as their hearts, enjoying each other's company and all the feelings that involved them.

Bakugou slowly walked away, calmer now, still with his arms around the smaller shoulders he faced him and slightly opened his mouth to start talking, but Kirishima was faster, taking one of his hands to the back of the blonde's neck and pressing his lips against his own.

Eijiro acted purely on emotion but froze as soon as he felt the blonde tense in his arms, but as soon as the blonde relaxed and opened his mouth slightly the smaller one let himself be carried away by the sensations again, wrapping his hand in the bigger one's hair and bringing them even closer.

Mouths moved calmly enjoying all the sensations, the feelings being squeezed between the two of them.

This moment was fantasized by both several times, but even all of their fantasies together didn't even came close to the real emotion of the act, the heat of the bodies, the sensations of the hands roaming between them, their mouths slowly getting to know each other.

When Bakugou parted his lips further and their tongues met, the two sighed softly as the world swirled around them, the sensation carrying both of them into a lethargic state, causing the redhead to gently pull the hair on the back of the blonde's neck and the other squeezed his hand around his cheeks in response.

When the breath was lacking, both slowly separated, ending the contact with light kisses and keeping their foreheads connected. Their gazes met, lava and ruby, both smiling, still panting and being united by their intertwined hands.

'So..." The redhead was the first to speak "That was… yeah" He laughs lightly, getting his cheeks flushed when he realizes what just happened "Are you okay with that or did I misunderstand?"

"No, no, there's nothing wrong" The blonde says quickly "I ... like you, like, I really like, I like like, in a romantic way like, kisses and all that shit."

With each word that left his mouth the face of the older one kept getting redder and redder.

"Ok, that's, that’s great… I like you too, romantically… For a long time" The redhead looks away still flushing "Now we… like… are we dating? Or is it too early? Or like, We can choose other names in case you're not comfortable with dating, like, we can be partners." The redhead chatters on and on before the blonde squeezes his hand causing him to stop.

"Oi! Shit hair, breath damn it" The explosive laughs lightly "And, no, we're not dating, yet, and yes I feel comfortable with the term dating but I think that even if I've liked you for a long time, we can take it slow, enjoy all this cliche shit with time…maybe go on a dates if you want… And we have an appropriate proposal." He smiles tenderly at the redhead.

"So you want to ask me out properly? Take me on real dates? Oh you’re so soft" He smiles mischievously at the blonde and approaches his face to the bigger one's ear "Will you sing for me again?" The redhead teases in a low tone, seeing the other's face acquire a vibrant red tone.

"Fuck you shitty hair" He pushes the smaller one away "Idiot… That… You Don't… Only if you want to." He stutters, muttering the last part, making the redhead blush as much as he does.

"So like… Hm… Are you free tomorrow?" kirishima looks away, still flushed, trying to ease the tension and slight embarrassment over the blonde's statement "We can go out for lunch and go to the park in the afternoon, what do you think?"

"I think that's great Red" The blonde approaches leaving a light seal on the redhead's flushed cheek and laughs lightly at his nervousness "Now, come on, you wanted to see the 2B stalls didn't you?"

"No, not really" The redhead mutters "I want to stay here a little longer" He wraps his arm around the bigger one's waist "I… I want to kiss you again." He says in a whisper approaching their faces slightly seeing the blonde blush intensely and look away "If you want of course." He mumbled shyly.

"Shut up idiot." Katsuki growled, closing the remaining distance between them.

The two spent a good  few more minutes inside the theater just enjoying each other's company and lips, killing the long ignored desire of both. When they left through the side doors they found Uraraka and Mina leaning against the wall, both flushed and with swollen lips. The explosive didn't miss the opportunity to bother the two who should have been guarding the entrance to ensure their privacy.

"What a great pair of shitty guards you two are" He smiled wryly.

"Quiet, boom boom boy" Uraraka said, freeing Mina from her grasp, leaving her free to move away from the wall "It's not our fault you two have been in there for centuries." She looks them up and down smiling in the corner.

"Don't worry blondy, nobody comes from that way" Mina replied, straightening some curls of her hair around her face "And as I see… You're not much different from us, I think things went well." She smirked, wrapping her arm around her girlfriend's waist.

"Yeah… well…" Kirishima stutters, blushing.

"Don't even start alien" the blonde pulled the redhead by the arm leaving the girls behind after showing his tong to then like the mature man he was "Come on red, let's enjoy the fucking festival.

The rest of the day was spent among games and food stalls, lots of laughter and the feeling of lightness hovering between the two.

At the end of the afternoon they joined the rest of their classmates to organize dinner in the dorms, that is, after the redhead stopped by his room to leave the newest orange teddy bear conquered by Bakugou in one of the stalls.

When they came downstairs they found everyone talking happily about the day and the other classes' attractions and their own class's performance in the show.

After dinner, the class still gathered in the living room for a movie session, where Bakugou took advantage of the darkness of the room to snuggle into the redhead's chest and nap for a while, completely exhausted by the amount of emotions in just one day.

After the end of the movie everyone retired to their dorms, the redhead being the last to stay in the room out of pity for waking up the blonde who was comfortably sleeping over him. With a light hand passing through the platinum hair, the other one started to wake up softly, mumbling a little and burying his face more in the curve of the smaller neck.

"Come on Katsu, we have to lie down in bed." He muttered, the blonde just nodded slowly and sat up rubbing his eyes. They both walked to the elevator leaning against each other, the silence hovering comfortably between them.

When they stopped in front of their doors, saying goodbye with a short kiss on their lips before going inside their respective rooms.

As they were already lying in their beds, the two boys smiled lightly and foolishly at nothing, the memories of the day wandering in their minds and bringing peace to their always agitated souls and the anxiety in their minds for the next day being appeased by the light feelings in their chests, both they fell asleep little by little without even noticing.
