Kaya ran towards the dock. Sweat trailing down her face as the wind swept her hair around. She stopped abruptly as she finally arrived at the shore. Her face bursting into a smile seeing the familiar boat docked at the shore. "Usopp!" She shouted as she jumped towards the boat. From the deck of The Sunny, a long familiar nose could be seen, the sun reflecting off it.
"I can see you." Kaya said quietly with a soft smile on her face. Usopp suddenly jumped from the boat down onto the bridge. "Kaya!" He said with a wide grin on his face. As he embraced her into a hug. "I did it!" He cheered as he spun her around in his arms. "Ive finally become a great warrior of the sea!" He continued. "I...I have so many stories to tell you." Usopp said as he let go of the hug. His eyes suddenly tearing up. "What's wrong Usoop?" Kaya asked confused. "I'm just so...Happy!" He said as the tears turned into a waterfall. Kaya started to giggle at him in response.
"Hey! Don't laugh at me! I'm a brave warrior now!" He shouted angrily.
"I'm sorry, You're just so silly!" She laughed while placing her hand on his cheek.
"How are you supposed to cry infront of your crew like that, Captain Usopp?" Kaya said while wiping away his tears with her thumb.
The bushes around them jolted at the mention. "I know! I'm the greatest observation haki user ever! Don't quote me on that..."
"...But if they aren't man enough to meet their prior Captain themselves then they'll never see me ever!" Usopp exclaimed loud enough for the bushes to hear. Kaya turned around to look at the forest, a tuff of pink and blond hair sticking out from a pair of bushes. After a while, a few sobs could be heard from around the tree.
"Wauugh!!! Captain!!!" Tamanegi wailed as he rushed towards the long nosed sniper. The other kids quickly followed him as they attacked their captain with hugs.
"Captain!!!" Piiman cried out. Usopp smiled as he also started to tear up, before shutting his eyes and pushing them away. "Hey? Aren't you guys pirates?!" Usopp exclaimed. "But-" Piiman started.
"You can't be crying over something like this!" He said.
"Otherwise, you'll never be a brace warrior like me." Usopp said confidently. Piiman, Tamanegi and Ninjin all looked down at the ground with their hands planted in their face as they wiped their tears. "Aye Aye Captain!" Tamanegi shouted, still abit shaky. "Yeah!" Ninjin added. "We promise to one day become as great as you Captain Usopp!" Piiman said with determination in his eyes. "YEAH!!" The other two chimed in.
Kaya started to giggle once again at the dramatic scene playing out before her. "Why don't we go back to my house for some tea? Maybe then Usopp can tell us all about his adventures with The pirate King!" Kaya proposed. "Yeah, I have so much to tell you about my crew! Theyre all amazing!"
The usopp pirates ran quickly up the hill towards Kayas mansion. But as Usopp was just about to run after them Kaya suddenly grabbed his hand. "Huh? What is it, Kaya?" He askes confused. "Ive missed you Usopp..." She said quietly with a smile on her face. She quickly lenead into him as she kissed him on the cheek. Usoops face turned red in an instant as his eyes were popping from his eye sockets. She laughed as she ran towards the Usopp pirates. "H-Hey wait up!" Usopp shouted after her.
"Welcome home Usopp!" Kaya shouted back
