I was just at my room, laying on my bed, while drown in thoughts. I have come to get used to this place, or at least enough to have gotten more sleep than before.
Suddenly, a thought came to my mind.
Come to think of it.. I haven't expressed my gratitude to Lady Anis.
Lady Anis saved me from a life of despair and gave me a new purpose.
Whereas I, Euphyllia Magenta, did not do a thing to return that favor.
But what could I possibly give her? A letter? Better not. It would have been better to give her something of her likeing, the only issue is.. what does she even like? Even if I could ask her at any moment, the intention of giving to her a gift would be too obvious by asking out of the blue.
No perfect gift idea came to mind, no matter how much I thought about it, I always arrived to the same conclusion. Until...
That's it! I know what I could give her.

The market has become a rowdy and annoying place to me, there were a ton of people around, but the reason I came was for a good cause, so there's no other option than to just endure it.
Finally, after what seemed like a lot of time, I arrived to the stall which I was looking for since the beginning.
It was a flower stall. Yes, my gift was a flower, it might be simple, I am aware of it, but that was the gift, that at least to me, looked like a decent one, I would be too embarassed to express how I feel towards Lady Anis head on, so, unless Lady Anis knew about flower language, the meaning will be hidden.
A certain flower caught my attention, a white hydrangea, this flower could be the one that accurately could reflect my true feelings.
It was more challenging to find that I had expected, eventually it was in my sight, I gently grabbed it.
After having bought the white hydrangea, I made my way to the Detached Palace, leaving the so noisy market behind.
When I finally arrived, a girl that looked younger than me, came rushing to me.
“Euphie! Where were you?” She said, with a hint of worry in her tone.
“I went for a walk. The weather sure is nice today, isn't it?” Right after I said that, the girl in front of me looked relieved.
“I'm glad! You didn't get hurt, did you?” She said, her eyes roaming through my body, searching for any possible injury.
“Please, do not worry. Nothing had happened.” When I said that, she finally relaxed.
“Alright, that's good then!” A bright smile, that could make anyone's day better, has appeared on her face.
For some unknown reason, every time I saw Lady Anis's smile, I could feel my face turning red, my heart pounding faster and faster and I involuntarily looking away from her, however, she didn't seem to mind.
“Dinner will be ready soon, see you in a bit, Euphie!” She said, with her cheerful usual tone. Before I could even answer, she dissapeared from my sight, the same way she came to talk to me when I entered.
I stood there, before going back to my room with the gift not noticed yet Lady Anis.
I would like to give it to her right after dinner, just the two of us, if possible.

When we finished having dinner, I went to talk with Lady Anis
“Lady Anis, if it's not much of a hindrance to you, could you lend me your time?” my cheeks were blushing slightly, might have been of embarassment.
“Hm? Sure, why not.” Judging by the tone, she seemed a little bit surprised at my suggestion.
“Could we go to a more private place?” I suggested.
“Yeah, of course.” After she said that, we went to the backyard, even though it was nighttime, it was a relaxing place, or at least that's how it felt to me.
“Tell me, Euphie. Why did you bring me here?” She asked.
“...” My heart is racing and I am at a loss for words.
“Hm? Euphie~ What are you hiding from me~?” She asked with a bit of teasing on her voice.
Without speaking a word, I presented her my gift.
“Huh? What is this?” She had no idea of what it was, it relieved me in a way.
“A gift, for you, Lady Anis”
“Why so sudden?” She seemed confused, her expression was a bit cute and, it made me chuckle.
Fully aware that I did not answer her question, I left her behind, leaving her perplexed with the white hydrangea on her hand.
