After they had arrived at Eagles Nest, Phoenix, Jon and Harry all head inside, Phoenix then says to them "Follow me, quietly" Jon and Harry both nod before they follow Phoenix into the den where Victoria Winslow is, setting up some flowers. She turns to see Phoenix and the other two before she says "You got here fast" She then asks "Who are they ?"
"Jon and Harry are my boyfriends, both of them" replies Phoenix before he tilts his head and says "Someone's heading here, we'll be upstairs" Phoenix's mother smirks before she reaches under the pile of flowers and nods at her son.
The teenagers head upstairs before Jon asks "What's going on?"
"someone's coming here, we're the backup, just in case she needs it" replies Phoenix as he pulls out some guns and knives to put on his person. He then says "I'm going to tune my hearing, so that I can hear what's going on, OK"
"OK," they reply. Phoenix tunes his hearing, he hears his mother working on the flowers, the front door opening and closing, and his mother saying "Frank Moses" Phoenix perks up at the name before he hears Frank reply "Hi, Victoria" He hears his mother ask "are you here to kill me ?" Frank replies "No" which is enough for Phoenix, he gets up with a smile on his face and says to Harry and Jon "It's OK" before he hears his mother say to Frank "You've been shot" Phoenix then rushes out of the room with Harry and Jon following him just as Frank nods and he sees his mother pull out a machine gun from under the flowers and he hears her say to Frank "tell Marvin to stand down before he gets hurt" before adding seeing Phoenix "plus there's someone else here, not just me" nodding to Phoenix behind Frank.
Frank turns to see Phoenix and gets a smile on his face before he exclaims "Phoenix"
"Why did you get shot, Uncle Frank? I thought you retired" asks Phoenix innocently.
"It's a long story" replies Frank before they head out into the hallway where Harry and Jon are making Frank ask when he sees them "Who are they?"
"Jon and Harry are my two boyfriends" replies Phoenix motioning for Jon and Harry to come forward. The front door opens and in comes Marvin, Joe and some ask Frank "whose the girl?" just as Joe approaches her and greets her. Frank replies "She's with me"
"Vicky" greets Joe.
"Joe" Victoria greets back. Joe then says "Oh, Vicky, sexy as ever" before he kisses her and Victoria says giving Joe a slap on the arm "Oh, you old snake charmer," Joe says to the woman with Frank "Sarah, this is Victoria, best-wet work asset in the business" he then turns to Victoria and says "and a true artist with an RPN"
"what's that?" asks Sarah confused.
"I kill people, dear" replies Victoria causing the Un-Holy Trinity of Fairy Tail to chuckle.
After Frank has had the bullet removed from his body they all meet up together, Marvin is glaring suspiciously at Jon and Harry making Phoenix say to him "Glare at them anymore and I'll castrate you and crucify you" with a growl making Sarah jump and stare at Phoenix. Joe then says as he looks at a file "The entire back half of the Guatemala file has been blacked out"
"what does that mean?" asks Jon interested.
"it means that they don't want us or anyone to read it" replies Phoenix before Joe says "But there's a list, 11 names, plus one that been redacted"
"all dead, except for Frank and Marvin," says Sarah.
"All the names on the reporter's list are in the file, too, but she has an additional name," Joe tells them all.
"Who?" asks Jon leaning forward.
"Alexander Dunning" replies Joe looking at Frank and Victoria before he says "Someone's protecting him"
"who's Alexander Dunning?" asks Harry.
"Dunning is the CEO of Browning-Orvis," says Victoria.
"gangsters," says Marvin as he eats.
"defence contractor," says Frank before he adds "very connected" The room is silent for a bit before Joe says "You know, if the CIA is protecting him, he's under surveillance"
"We could go see him," says Frank.
"You're not going without me," says Victoria.
"well... we're getting the gang back together, that's nice," says Joe smiling. Phoenix, Jon and Harry look at each other before they nod in agreement, Sarah then asks pointing at the three teenage boys "What about them?"
"oh, we're coming with you," says Phoenix in a way that says 'We've made up our minds and you won't change it'
"I don't think that's a good idea," says Frank.
"Uncle Frank, we're The Un-Holy Trinity of Fairy Tail, we can handle a few armed men," Phoenix says to Frank, Sarah asks "Fairy Tail?"
"our guild, a Magical Guild, we're Mages" replies Jon. Harry then says "We can show you a little of what we can do if you want"
"I'd love to see what you three can do," says Sarah sounding excited.
