Work Text:
Nikolai stares at you coldly, his thick Russian accent cutting through the silence. "You think you can just walk away from me, Jonathan? You know the consequences of defying me. Your little family won't be able to protect you forever."
He takes a step closer, his eyes scanning your face for any sign of weakness. "I suggest you reconsider your decision, or else things will get very ugly very fast."
Nikolai's expression hardens as he continues to study your face. After a few moments of tense silence, he speaks again.
"You always were a stubborn one, Jonathan," he says, his voice low and dangerous. "But you should know better than to cross me. You and your family are under my protection now, and I expect your loyalty in return."
He takes another step closer, his hand hovering near the gun at his side. "You have one chance to make things right. Are you with me, or against me?"
Nikolai narrows his eyes at your silence, his patience wearing thin. "I see," he says, his voice dripping with disdain. "You think you can play games with me. But you are mistaken. You are nothing without my protection, and you will regret crossing me."
He turns on his heel and heads for the door, pausing only briefly to glance back at you. "I'll give you some time to think about your decision. But make no mistake, Jonathan. If you choose to betray me, you will face the consequences."
With that, he leaves the room, the door slamming shut behind him with a resounding thud. You are left alone with your thoughts, the weight of the decision heavy on your shoulders.
As you struggle against your restraints, you hear the sound of footsteps approaching the door. Your heart races as you wonder if it's Nikolai returning to deal with you, but you relax slightly when the door opens to reveal one of his men.
The henchman walks over to you, his expression blank as he inspects the ropes binding you. Without a word, he begins to undo the knots, his movements efficient and practiced. Within moments, your hands are free, but he stands there, watching you intently.
"You are to come with me," he says, his tone leaving no room for argument. "The boss wants to see you."
The henchman's expression remains impassive as he slaps you, the force of the blow stinging your cheek. "Silence," he says, his voice cold and menacing. "You will show respect to the boss, or you will face the consequences."
He gestures for you to stand up, his hand resting on the gun at his side. "Now come," he says, his tone brooking no argument. "The boss is waiting for you."
As you struggle, the henchman's grip on your arm tightens, his fingers digging into your flesh. "Stop resisting," he growls, his face contorting into a scowl. "You'll only make it worse for yourself."
Despite his words, you continue to resist, trying to pull away from him. But he is too strong, and with a sudden yank, he forces you to your feet. He begins to drag you towards the door, his grip unrelenting as you stumble along behind him.
"You're making a big mistake," you say through gritted teeth, your voice strained with effort. "Nikolai will regret this."
The henchman merely snorts in response, his eyes fixed ahead as he leads you through the dimly lit corridors of the mansion. As you are pulled along, you can't help but wonder what fate awaits you at the hands of the man you once loved.
As you are dragged through the corridors, you finally arrive at a room, the door flung open to reveal a brightly lit interior. Smoke fills the air, obscuring your view of the room's occupants.
As you are shoved inside, you stumble and nearly fall, only managing to catch yourself at the last moment. You blink away the smoke, your eyes adjusting to the brightness, and see a figure sitting in a large chair, its back turned to you.
"Welcome, Jonathan," a voice says, the words tinged with a thick Russian accent. "I have been waiting for you."
The figure in the chair slowly turns around, revealing Nikolai, the man you once loved and now fear. His face is expressionless, his eyes cold and distant as he regards you.
"I see you haven't changed," you say, trying to keep your voice steady. "Still hiding behind your goons."
Nikolai merely raises an eyebrow in response. "I don't need goons to deal with someone like you, Jonathan," he says. "But I have other uses for them."
With a flick of his wrist, he gestures to the henchman who had brought you in. "Leave us," he says. "I have business to discuss with Mr. Price."
The henchman hesitates for a moment, his eyes flicking nervously between you and Nikolai. But with a final glare in your direction, he exits the room, closing the door behind him.
The silence in the room is deafening as Nikolai stares at you with his cold, piercing gaze. You can feel the weight of his presence bearing down on you, but you refuse to give him the satisfaction of seeing you break.
Nikolai leans forward in his chair, steepling his fingers together in front of him. "I hear you have been causing trouble in my territory," he says, his voice low and dangerous. "That's not something I can just let slide, Jonathan."
You continue to stay silent, steeling yourself against his words. You know Nikolai is not one to take kindly to insubordination, and you are prepared for whatever he may throw your way.
Nikolai narrows his eyes, his expression darkening. "You know I could have you killed, don't you?" he says, his voice rising slightly. "But that would be too easy. No, I have a much better punishment in mind for you."
He rises from his chair and approaches you, his steps slow and deliberate. You can feel his hot breath on your neck as he leans in close, his voice a low growl in your ear.
"You are going to work for me, Jonathan," he says. "You will do whatever I say, whenever I say it. And if you try to cross me again, I will make sure you regret it."
Despite the fear that courses through your veins, you refuse to show any weakness in front of Nikolai. You stand tall, meeting his gaze with a steely determination.
"I won't work for you," you say, your voice firm. "I'll die first."
Nikolai chuckles darkly, his lips curling into a menacing smirk. "Oh, Jonathan," he says. "I think you'll find that I can be quite persuasive."
As you watched the TV flicker to life, my heart sank at the sight of three familiar faces - Johnny, Kyle, and Alex - bound and helpless on the screen.
Nikolai looks at you with a smirk, "Do you recognize these gentlemen, my dear Jonathan? They were easy targets. I could have killed them, but I didn't. I'm not a monster, you know that. I just want you to listen to me, to hear me out."
He takes a puff of his cigar before continuing, "You and I, we had something special. I know you still feel it. Don't deny it. I can give you everything you want, and more. Just say the word, and they will be released, unharmed."
He leans in closer to you, his voice low and threatening, "But if you refuse me again, I can't guarantee their safety. Think carefully, my love."
