Tonight was evaluation night. All of the trainees are currently headed towards their groups respective evaluation hall. The 'TOMBOY' team is also heading towards the evaluation hall.
As they were walking, Hui kept on yawning and rubbing his eyes, trying to will his tiredness away. "Aigoo, is our leader tired?" Hanbin teased, slinging an arm around Hui's shoulders. "Shh, let's just get going." Hui says and Zhang Hao laughs at the way Hanbin pouts. "Come on, Bin-ah. The faster we finish, the faster he can rest." Hanbin nods and catches up with them.
They entered the evaluation hall and sat down at a corner while waiting for the masters to arrive. The masters then arrived and they all stood up and greeted them. "Alright then, let's start with 'TOMBOY', shall we?" Lee Seokhoon says and all the other trainees cheered as the 4 of them stood up and got into position. They started and surprisingly, despite being tired, Hui was able to deliver a killer performance even though it was just for the evaluation.
"Awesome job, you guys! That was amazing, thank you." The 4 bowed and headed back to sit down as the other trainees claps for them. They sat down as Lee Seokhoon calls the next team and Hui was already leaning to place his head on Gunwook's shoulder if he falls asleep.
"Just take a nap, hyung." Gunwook whispered and Hui was immediately out the moment his head dropped onto Gunwook's shoulder. Both Hanbin and Zhang Hao stopped their observation on the other teams and looked towards the two and cooed. As the evaluation goes on, the other trainees started to notice Hui's sleeping body and they started to coo at him.
Not long later, their evaluation was done.
"Okay, that's all for tonights evaluation. You guys improved a lot. Keep up the good work and rest well, everyone!" Lee Seokhoon smiled and the trainees said their thank you's. Then, Seokhoon notices Hui and Gunwook who were still sat down down at the back. "Hui and Gunwook, why are you two still- oh." He stops his sentence when Hanbin moves out of Gunwook's front and he was able to see the full view of Hui sleeping on Gunwook's shoulder and chuckles.
"How long have you guys been like that?" He asked, not trying to hide his smile. "Uh, since our turn?" Gunwook answers and he had to stop himself from laughing so hard. Instead he took out his phone and took some pictures to send to their group.
"Never knew you were the affectionate type." Onestar comments as he looks at the oldest trainee sleeping form. "How are you guys gonna back to your rooms? Are you guys roommates?" He asks. "Me and hyung are roommates, thankfully." Gunwook says. "Then just carry him." Lee Seokhoon says, chuckling a little when Gunwook turns to quickly to look at him.
"Yeah, you could carry him! He's lighter than you think he is, trust me." Hanbin says. "Here, I'll hold him up while you stretch for a bit then carry him." Doha offers and does just that and Gunwook stoods up and stretches his body then looks at Hanbin. "Why don't hyung carry him then? You guys used to be from the same company, too" He reasons. "Believe it or not, I actually can't carry him for more than 1 minute, and we need atleast 5 minutes to get to our dorms." Hanbin sheepishly said.
"But you said he's not heavy!" Gunwook whined, fully forgotten about the others and masters still in the room. "He really isn't, I swear. But I really can't. Besides, we're almost the same weight and our height isn't that far of a difference." Hanbin laughs. Gunwook then grumbles (no malice, just joking) something about 'just you wait, Hanbin hyung' and proceeds to carry Hui on his back. With the help of Doha and Hanbin, Hui is on Gunwook's back, still asleep, and Gunwook stands up effortlessly and the others looked at him with amazement.
"Wow, you really are strong." Doha says. "Those muscles don't lie I guess." Taerae mumbles. "Told you you'll carry him easily, effortlessly even!" Hanbin smiles. "Well then, rest up boys!" The masters finally made their presence known again after awhile. "Be careful, Gunwook yah." The vocal master reminded him. "Good night everyone!" Onestar waves are they walks out, the trainees following behind.
"Be careful, Gunwook-ah! Good night!" Hanbin waved at him and walks away with Zhang Hao as they were roommates. "Yeah, good night, hyungs." He says and walks towards his and Hui's room. The two slowly arrives at their room and Gunwook slowly placed Hui down on his bed, laying him down so he'll sleep comfortably and won't wake up feeling sore or tired the next morning. He himself starts to get ready for bed and plops down on the bed next to Hui, murmuring a 'Good night, hyung. Rest well.' before falling asleep himself.
- in the middle of the night
Soft creaking sounds could be heard from Hui's bed as he shuffles to sit up on his bed, still half conscious. He looks around the dark room and frowns when he saw somebody sleeping in the bed next to his. For moment in his half asleep tired state he forgets that he is not in the Pentagon dorms where usually one of the members would cuddle him if he feels really tired to help him rest easy.
He stands up and walks towards the sleeping figure, who surprisingly only grunts a little at Hui's tugs on his pajama and lets the older men under his blanket and hugs him from behind, falling back into a deep slumber seconds later.
- next morning
"Shut it! You're going to wake them up!" A voice hissed.
"You're the one with a flash upon their faces!" Another voice hissed.
"Shi- they're waking up."
"Let's go!" And with that the only sounds being heard in the room was fast footsteps running away.
The one who fully opens their eyes first is Hui, rubbing his eyes and looks to his left where he saw Gunwook also rubbing his eyes. "Good morning, hyung." Gunwook yawns. "Oh, good morning too, Wookie." Hui smiled. "Sorry I invaded your personal space last night. Usually when I'm that tired one of my members would come and cuddle me to help me sleep better." He sheepishly said.
"It's alright, hyung. I'm glad I was able to help." The younger grinned and Hui smiles back at him. "Question tho." Hui says and Gunwook looks at him, tilting his head in confusion. "How did I end up here? I know for a fact that we have to walk atleast 5 minutes from the evaluation hall to our rooms and Hanbin can't carry me for more than a minute." He looks at Gunwook who awkwardly smiles at him. "I carried you back here." He says, making Hui smile and ruffles his hair.
"You really an all-rounder maknae, Wookie-ah." Hui grins widens and he returns the smile.
- BONUS ! -
"Woongi-ya! Let me see the video." Sung Hanbin's voice sounded. Said male turned around and smiled, waving for him and the others to immediately get into his room (he was standing outside of his room when Hanbin's voice was heard).
Woongki grin widens when Hanbin pulls Zhang Hao (who was still half awake with hair sticking out in every direction and a toothbrush in his mouth) along with him. "Oh, you are so gonna love this!" Woongki squealed.
Seowon's head suddenly pops out of the room and also grins and Hanbin starts running towards the room with Hao staggering behind him. "Stawhp rwunning!" He tries but no luck.
Habib finally slows down and Woongki steps into the room and there sat Seowon, Haruto, Wumuti, Taerae and Park Hanbin on one of the beds.
Woongki then took out the camera and started playing the video he took earlier on the eldest and youngest of the 'TOMBOY' team.
"Oh my god that is sooo cute!" Haruto says with Hanbin who was shaking Zhang Hao awake as he chokes on his toothbrush. "Stawhp!" He shouts once again and Hanbin sheepishly smiles at him and Zhang Hao only sigh (or tried to with foam and the toothbrush in his mouth).
"I never knew they were the type to cuddle." Park Hanbin says, Wumuti nodding along at his statement. "Says the one hugging his partners waist from behind." Haruto scoffs jokingly and they all burst out laughing at the way Taerae's and Hanbin's face redden.
"Ah, I want someone to cuddle too!" Woongki whined. "You have me, idiot!" Seowon nudged him and they all laughed again. "What a way to start the morning,huh?" Wumuti suddenly says.
"Yeah, wild indeed." Zhang Hao says, coming out of the bathroom after washing away the foams in his mouth which makes everyone laughs again.
What a morning indeed.
