2 a.m. in the morning and akito still tries to sleep. His phone suddenly rings out of nowhere. He grabs his phone and tries to read the name with his sleepy eyes. The call was from An. He couldn't figure out why she calls him at this moment so he just answers. An in the other side of phone tries to communicate with akito
"Heyyyy, can you plsss come get mee??" It didnt take too much to akito understands she was drunk as hell from her voice.
He didn't expect her to be this drunk at 2 a.m. so he starts to worry about her.
"An are you okay right now? Can you please tell me where you are, i will be right there!"
An texts him to the location. Akito quickly dresses up and leaves the house. He come acrosses a store while on his way and stops to buy An's favorite ice cream for her. He should be at there after this street so he speed ups his steps.
He was about to yell An's name untill he saw a another guy next to her. It was no other then Arata. He just watches them away and doesn't approaches. So akito wasn't the only person An called. It seems like Arata was faster then him. Akito just left them like that, at the end he trusts Arata and just doesn't want to disturb them. While heading back to home he throws away the ice creams he bought planning to eat with An.
He comes back to home and immediately buries his head to pillow and sleeps right away.
Meanwhile Arata takes An to her home safely and leaves, nothing much or more.
Next morning comes and he has to go to college. Still thinking about last night...
"Maybe i shouldn't leave her with him. Ughhh why I am like this, he is also our friend why i can't fully trust him?.. Like we are just friends with An, she can choose who to date right?" He suddenly starts to think An and Arata were dating.
"No no it doesn't make any sense. I should've understand if they were dating, should I? Argggghhh I think I should stop overthinking and prepare for school."
He said and leave the house in hurry. Akito looks around with a nervous auro for An and finally find her. An looks at Akito, he seems a bit different today.
"Akito are you okay? You look like barely had any sleep. Something happened last night?"
An clearly doesn't remember what happened last night and Akito just plays with that.
"I am okay don't worry hehe. Just played too much games i guess. Forget about me, how are you today? You are feeling good right? Is everything okay?"
An couldn't figure out what's up with Akito and just replies him with "I am okay, dont worry Akito."
That was surely awkward. Classes starts very soon so both leaves for their classes.
Afternoon comes and they all 3 goes to usual restaurant. It's their daily activities since they all go to same university unlike touya and kohane.
The atmosphere was, weird. Akito chewing his food louder then usual. Both Arata and An doesnt understand what is wrong with him. After paying the bill Arata tells An to go before them.
"Hey Akito is everything really ok-" without even letting him to complete. "Arata look last night you wasn't the only person An called. Yeah i saw both of you, i know you are also An's friend so for sure you can help her at 2 a.m. that is what friends for right? Also i don't care if you two just more than thay okay? It is not like I would be jealous over my friends haha" He could barely control his breath while talking and Arata was just listening him with a shocked face.
"You misunderstood everything so wrong, Akito... I just safely bring An to her house and then leave. Also Don't worry I don't have such feelings for her but I think I know someone who has something for her, fufu." he giggles.
"Haha I know it. You should be a loser to fall for her. Also i dont think anyone could fall in love with her" he weirdly laughs.
"Akito do you know that you sound so stupis sometimes?" Arata can't hold himself back. "Who are you calling stupid huh?!?!?" Arata loves to tease Akito but it doesn't apply for Akito it seems.
The day slowly reaches to end and everyone heading back to their homes.
Akito wants to be alone so he leaves a bit earlier then everyone.
A lot of things going through his head, what Arata was trying to say? Is he really a 'stupid'? He gets himself a coffee to distract that thoughts.
"Maybe Arata wasn't wrong" he looks at the photo of 5 of them that stays next to his bed. "Maybe i was the pathetic one who could fell in love with a girl like that" he giggles.
You should be stupid to not see the connection between these two. Anytime anything happens to An, Akito is always there for help. Maybe the reason he was being this jealous was not able to help An when she needs that the most.
"I am such a pathetic haha. You see this, An? I am really sorry that you have to deal with a really jealous guy like me." He looks at a photo where both him and An smiles. Her smile means everything for him...
