There's so much I want to say,
but you're already gone, and I have no way to tell you.
Bluey sat at the table, picking at her food with her fork.
She kept thinking about what her mom, Chilli, had told her earlier that week.
Sometimes, special people come into your life, and sometimes they leave.
But why did they have to leave?
Why did Jean-Luc have to leave?
If she had woken up earlier, could she at least have said goodbye?
There was a lot of 'what ifs' that ran through her head, as if she could have prevented letting go of him, so she could have kept their friendship going beyond the distance of however far Jean-Luc lived.
It wasn't like they exchanged contact info, so she couldn't just ask her parents to call him on Faceytalk.
It was moments like this where Bluey didn't know whether she should cry of happiness or sadness.
The moments we cherished together were some of the greatest in my lifetime (even if my lifetime hasn't been that long yet),
but I wanted to created more.
We talked, we played, we laughed.
So I hope one day we meet again and can talk again, play again, laugh again.
