Prompt: Wild, breathless kisses brought on by a heartfelt gift.
Pair: Shauntal x Grimsley
"I have something for you, Shauntal. Consider it as a welcoming gift to the Unovian Elites," Grimsley handed Shauntal a small crimson felt box.
Inside was a professional fountain pen with a set of ten ink refills for the pen. He must have seen the stack of pens and various test cards by her desk in case one of her pens decided to run out of ink on her desk. She looked down at the thoughtful gift as tears welled in her eyes.
"Y-you didn't have to get me anything," she muttered softly. "I'm still fairly new to being an Elite. Are you sure..this is okay for me to accept?"
There was a dark twinkle in his eyes as he took joy in her happiness. This was definitely the start of a beautiful friendship..perhaps something more?
He gave her a low bow, grinning from ear to ear.
"Of course it is. I hope that the pen serves you well. I look forward to the stories you weave in the future with that wild imagination of yours."
Shauntal just took a few seconds to stare at the pen. No one has ever given her such a thoughtful gift, let alone thought about how it could affect her career as a novelist. She couldn't just express her gratitude through words alone. This absolutely meant the world to her. Without a second thought, she placed the box on a nearby table before pulling on his shirt to give him a kiss.
The initiation surprised Grimsley at first, but he could see how much his gift meant to her. He relaxed against her lips, tucking a few stray lavender locks behind her ear as he encouraged his new ghostwriter colleague to reach for her desires. What started as a soft and simple kiss, evolved into something needy and wild. His hands shifted from her shoulders down to her hips as he pulled her close against him and her own hands slid from his coat to the end of his dress shirt.
She pulled back, panting softly as her cheeks were flushed to a dark crimson tint, "Ah..s-sorry about that. I got a little carried away."
"No need to apologize," Grimsley licked his lips as he leaned forward a bit to whisper into her ear, "I wouldn't be against doing it again. You know where to find me should you feel the need to share that spark again, kitten."
With his taunting words swirling in her mind, Grimsley detached himself from her side and made his way back to his room. Best to let her ponder on whether she wanted to pursue those feelings of hers or let them pass. It would be the lady's choice and he was content with either. . .at least for now.
