Chapter Text
Robin was having breakfast in the kitchen when he looked at the clock on the wall.
“Fuck.” Robin cursed. Robin shoved his cereal into his mouth and rushed out the kitchen to the bottom of the stairs. “Vance, Billy we gotta go!” He called out.
“I’m coming, I’m coming!” Billy called back. “Give me a fucking minute!” Vance snapped at the same time.
“I can’t give you a minute, damn it, we’re gonna be fucking late if you take any longer with messing with your hair Vance!” Robin called back. Robin was tying the laces on his Converse when Billy came rushing down the stairs, jacket in hand and bag slung over his shoulder.
“Alright, you good to go?” Asked Robin. “Yeah, I think so. I don’t know where my phone is though.” Billy said back while ruffling through his bag. “It’s on the kitchen counter.” Robin said. “Thanks love”. Billy smiled at Robin, he then proceeded to walk to the kitchen. Eventhough Billy was smart and good in fighting, he also was messy.
Just then Vance made his way down the stairs, his face set in an scowl. “Give me the car keys, It’s my turn to drive today.” Vance told Robin. “No way, I’m not in the mood for a car accident this early in the morning, thank you very much. I’m driving.” Billy said to Vance when he made his way back into the hall, phone in hand.
Robin rolled his eyes while the other two bickered. Robin walked out the door to the car, he did not have the energy right now to deal with them.
Billy and Vance came walking out the door when they realized that neither weren’t driving today. The second they were in the car, Robin took of.
While driving, they were being called by their boss. “Goodmorning Angels.” The joking voice of Gwendolyn Blake filled the car. “Goodmorning Charlie.” The boys joked back.
Gwen chuckled before her voice turned serious.
“I’ve got some unsettling news to tell you guys about. You see this man?” A hologram of a middle aged men appeared in the car. “This man is a problem. Not only is he a problem, he’s also a dangerous criminal and the leader of the biggest gang in Los Angeles. He was supposed to spend his life rotting away in prison but he escaped two months ago. His name is Albert Shaw, his brother, Max Shaw, is hiding him. Not long ago we found his location. Only problem is that he is located in one of the most highly secured house there is.”
“I don’t see the problem here.” Vance said. “Isn’t that you’re specialty? Like breaking in highly secured places?” Vance continued.
“It is.” Gwen answered. “But apparently this is where our specialty fails us. The place is surrounded by hundreds of guards and to get past the guards, we need to hack the security system. But we didn’t succeed in that because nobody can recognise the method of it.” Gwen sounded frustrated, Billy supposes this has been nagging her quite a bit.
“What do you mean ‘can’t recognise the method’?” Robin asked.
“I mean that the method that is used to secure the system is very advanced, something that we never have seen before.” Gwen answered.
“Well, What do you want us to do about it?” Billy asked.
“What we want is that you three are going to solve this, we assigned three more people to help you through this case.” Gwen answered.
“Why do we need three extra people? We can manage this just fine on our own.” Vance said defensively.
“Because these people are more skilled, they’re skills are wild, they work for no one. We hired them, they are-“ Gwen cut herself of, she seemed hesitant to share this certain piece of information.
“They’re what?” Robin asked.
“They’re criminals.”
