Chapter Text
Her eyes began to adjust to the bright lighting now surrounding her, slowly getting up from the ground, looking for wherever she had to have fallen out of. He couldn’t find wherever he had fallen through so he instead turned to observe the strange new environment around her.
They glanced over from walls to floor, both a boring concrete but from about her shoulder down, the walls had quite obviously been painted over, covering the course-like texture of the walls. His eyes drifted to the ceiling where he noticed speakers placed in each corner of the room, she glanced over the artificial white lights, the kind you would see in a hospital that would usually make an annoying buzzing noise, yet not a peep was heard. She turned her attention to the middle of the room where sat a round and clean looking table, tucked underneath were stools with metal legs and yet most interesting of all, in the centre of the table sat a radio emitting a gentle but grainy static sound.
After pulling out one of the stools and seating himself at the table, he pulled the radio closer and began fiddling with the knobs. She questioned if it was even on, none of the channels were making any sound other then a faint static noise- The radio started to release the sounds of a calming voice and she reached a different knob to turn up the volume.
“Hello? Can you hear me? Whats-” He began to ramble til they were interrupted.
“Hey Kikas999! Welcome to the council, where you get to-” The calming voice began before they were cut off.
“The council? What's The Council?” They panicked into the radio.
“Its a cult.” Spoke a different and more excited voice.
“Its not a cult. “ they breathed out, sounding quite exasperated “As I was saying, the council is a group of people who decide things for me.“
After a few moments of hesitation, he yet again scanned the room before finally asking,
“And.. Where am I?”
Neither of the two voices responded, leaving an uncomfortable silence for the radio’s soft static sounds to fill.
“Can I atleast know your names?”
Instead of a response, the two voices began to chat again. He would be lying if he said he was paying attention to the conversation between the two and it wasn't long till her eyelids began to feel heavy. Slowly, they drifted off, resting their head on the table.
