Summary:

Kaguya gets Injured during a battle, and Eirin can't stop thinking about her.

Work Text:

(It's been a while, I know. I think I'm gonna do some oneshots as well. I'm taking a break from my story. I hope you enjoy, and take it easy!)

Eirin was sitting beside the bed of Kaguya. She was sound asleep, even snoring. Eirin couldn't stop looking at the Lunar Princess. Why? Why now all of a sudden? They had known each other for centuries...why did these feelings just show up now? She was puzzled.

Her heart skipped a beat as Kaguya snored in her sleep. What am I thinking? Eirin thought. I just saved her from bandits...I've gone through multiple situations like this...but why does this time feel...different?

Eirin sighed to herself. She had never thought about Kaguya this way before. She shifted in her seat as the Lunar Princess turned toward her in sleep. God...Eirin thought once more. She's...beautiful. Imagine what it would take to sleep with her...

Eirin looked away. What was she thinking? Thinking unpure thoughts about the princess like that...She couldn't help it. She stood up and returned to her desk to calm her heart and her mind.

The next morning, as the sun rose, a tired Eirin walked back into the room. Kaguya was awake in her bed, seemingly waiting for her.

"Good morning, Princess," She smiled. "How did you sleep?"

"Great, actually," Kaguya smiled back. "It was like a guardian angel was protecting me in my sleep..."

Eirin blushed suddenly. "A-anyway...you seem to not be suffering any injuries..." She put on her glasses and stared at her notepad.

"Did anyone mention how cute you look with those on?" Kaguya smiled innocently.

Eirin's heart skipped a beat. "C-cute!?" She stammered. "Wh-who said-"

Kaguya giggled. "No one, huh~?"

Eirin maintained her composure. "Ahem...um...so, I think you're free from the clinic."

Kaguya pouted. "But I wanted to stay here..."

"We have more patients, and if you're in the be-"

"...with you..."

Eirin's face went as red as a tomato. She covered her face with her notepad. "Kaguya, what's this all about now?"

Kaguya giggled. "Don't play dumb, Eirin. I know that angel that watched over in my sleep was you. And the way you protected me and carried me here..."

Eirin struggled to come up with an answer. "I...what are you talking about?"

Kaguya stepped out of the bed and walked toward Eirin, who took a step back. "I know what you're feeling...and if you say it, I could guarantee you I feel the same way too..."

Eirin gulped. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity. What would happen if she didn't take it? She would be awkward around the Lunar Princess until the end of time...but if she did...she would be eternally devoted to her until the end of time. She closed her eyes and took a breath. She looked dead at Kaguya and said:

"Alright! I love you Kaguya! I love you with all my heart!"

This took Kaguya clearly by surprise. She gasped and blushed a little bit. She smiled as she stepped even closer to Eirin. Now their faces were only mere inches apart. She looked at her dead in the eyes.

"That's what I wanted to hear from you for...like, centuries!" She giggled. "And I was correct...because..."

She went even closer.

"...I love you too, Eirin. I love you with all my heart."

Kaguya closed the gap between them. Eirin's eyes flew open as Kaguya's closed. Eirin tensed up. In her entire life, she had never kissed anyone before like this...she had no clue what to make of it...Then she saw the beautiful Lunar Princess with her eyes closed in front of her. Eirin slowly softened, and wrapped her arms around her waist, kissing her back.

After a few seconds, they broke apart. Eirin's breathing was ragged, and her face was red. Did that just really happen? This left her in shock.

Kaguya smiled at her. "Mmm...~" She licked her lips slightly. "Those were the lips I wanted to taste for the longest time..."

Eirin smiled back, still red faced. "As much as I know about my profession, I-I admit...I don't know much about feelings like this..."

Kaguya took her new lover by the hand. She looked up at Eirin. "Don't worry, I'll teach you all there is, ok?"

The two embraced while the sun rose upon Gensokyo. This was the best morning of Eirin's life, and one that she wouldn't forget.

(So, my first oneshot. How was it, and what should I do next? Please tell me! I really appreciate the support.)
