Chapter Text

"What do you mean you got your quirk on the day of the entrance exam?" Aizawa deadpanned; he had just learned that his green-haired problem kid had only 10 months of training, and none of it was with his quirk.

"Well, would you believe me if I told you that I was a late bloomer?" He raised his hand to the back of his neck, scratching it awkwardly. "I mean, I can't explain it better than that."

The older man looks at him, his face stone cold. "No, Midoriya, I would not believe you if you tried telling me that." He pauses for a second. "How did you even develop your quirk at 15?"

He's cut off by Hizashi walking into the room, followed by a very happy and bouncing Oboro. "Hey sho-" Oboro stops realizing who was in the room. "Well, hello there, little listener!" Mic exclaims quickly, "What’s going on in here?" The cloud-haired man asked carefully, "Oh, nothing, just talking about some quirky things with sensei! I'll get out of your hair now!" The greenette rushed out of the room before Aizawa could stop him.

"God, that kid will be the death of me, I swear," he breathed out before looking at his two husbands' gods. He would always be ecstatic to say that. Still, he would never tell them that. "Where is your ring, Zashi?" The raven-haired man noticed that the ring that was typically on his left hand had been missing.

"Oh, I got a necklace for it like a week ago and just put it on this morning," he paused. "I didn't want my students seeing it; to be honest, I do not want to have to explain that I'm married to two people and I'm gay." He finished looking between the two and decided to lean against Oboros' back carefully.

"Do you think your students are homophobic?" Oboro asks, almost stumbling over from the sudden added weight on his back.

"No. That's like not even an option," Shouta paused. "Besides, maybe Mineta? He's on such thin ice, though; I don't think he will make it to the end of the year at this rate." He sighed, pinching his nose bridge. "I don't know why I decided I wanted to teach hero students. I am so done with a lot of these kids. I mean, hell, Midoryia didn't get his quirk till the day of the entrance exam." He deadpans, looking at his two husbands, shocked when they finally process the information they were just given.

"And on top of that, he only had ten months of training before the hero course exam, all of it while being quirkless." He looked at them with pity in his eyes. "He's falling behind and beating himself up almost beyond repair because he is not physically built for hero course training yet."

They both looked at him with the same question on their tongues. "Does his mother know this?" they ask at the same time.

"I don’t know. I mean, she’s never shown up when he has been severely injured, and I've never actually ever spoken to her; it's always gone straight to voicemail." He feels a smaller hand run through his hair, softly brushing out the knots.

"Well, I think we should try to schedule a meeting with her, and if that doesn't work, we can check up on our little listener’s house." Oboro chimes in quietly—he had picked that up from Hizashi—smiling softly at him and gently pulling him into a hug. "I think you need to shower," the blue-haired man said quietly over his shoulder.

"Hey, don't leave me out of the hug!" Hashi chirps out. He pulls them both into the hug rather roughly for the raven's taste. "Careful! I’m still sore from patrol last night; I had a nasty villain encounter," he complains.

"Sorry, sorry!" He releases him quickly and backs up a bit. Oboros's eyes softened at the sight of his two husbands. "Well, no point in standing here any longer; let's get going!" he says, reaching out both hands for them.

"Let's go," Oboro breathed out, exhausted from his own patrol route that morning.

"How did your patrol go cloudy?" the loud hero asked.

"Went decently well? I mean, I almost had a building collapse on me. Again, but I got out with just a few scrapes!" He rushes the last part out in order to not worry his lovers. The last time a building almost collapsed on him, it managed to hit him barely and injured him a lot.

"The hell do you mean another building almost collapsed on you? How often is this happening?" the blond started rapid-firing questions at him.

"Well, I kind of was trying to help people out of a building on fire, and somebody's quirk must have gone off and made the building start to crumble, but thankfully I could get a cloud over us all in time before it crushed us," he simply stated as if it were a normal thing that happens to the day-to-day hero.

"That's not a normal thing to be casually happening, oboro," a tired monotone voice chimes in.

A sudden stop happens when they look up and see a green-haired kid under a tree right outside of UA passed out with scrapes on his face.

‘What the hell?" the three men say at the same time.
